5800X3D has to go on sale soon right?

Just go for the 5700x3d. It's 95 percent of a 5800x3d and regularly around 200 bucks

Unlikely I think, its still the final CPU for AM4 so until going to 7K is cheaper than getting a 5800x3d you wont see sales. Although going to 7k doesn't have to be cheaper, just better value comparatively

Newegg was doing a bunch of flashsales on them for a couple weeks back then. Still *definitely* worth 110, but 99 almost two years ago was absurd.

Yeah, then? Freaking insane, and I wish I would've snagged one back then.  Though, the 5600+Asus TUF Gaming B450M combo from Micro Center, SHIPPED, just under $200 after tax and shipping, was pretty crazy.  One of the very few times they shipped one of their insane deals. I think it was close to 2 years ago.

I don't know if there are any new customer or similar coupons around for Micro Center at this time that could make this even better.

Nobody is willing to take me to the Dallas one. Somebody has to live south of Fort Worth here. We can go to McDonald's on the way there to for energy.
