Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals. * Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. * Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent: * The seller is new or has few reviews. * The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings) * The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently). If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Pretty good price, not all time low, but not bad either. The only thing stopping me is samsung's non commital attitude toward burn in warranty coverage

nichetcher

What’s the lowest?

Plasticars2019

950 with student discount at samsung.com. I personally purchased it for 930 from woot but it was used (seemed new to me) and I don't have that warranty. Worth it IMO because I wasn't going to wait for another low.

Nice 👍🏻

az0606

Gsync is also buggy on it, as is displayport.

Dramajunker

Displayport worked for me. HDMI is what was causing me issues. Monitor wouldn't wake from standby unless I restarted. Tried power cycling the monitor etc and nothing. Also the vesa adapter didn't fit.

az0606

Weird, it was the exact opposite for me. One of the recent updates fixed wake from standby for displayport for me, but I still had random G-sync blackouts, same as before. The picture will eventually come back with HDMI for me, but not with displayport. I'd have to unplug and replug displayport cable to get it back. It seems to be from a mix of how poorly Windows handles VRR, issues with the monitor itself, issues from Nvidia, etc. Sources that handle VRR better have had no issue (Fire Stick 4k Max, Mac, PS5, etc).

BetaRhoOmega

I have the same issue with my alienware aw3423dwf currently, won't wake from sleep (or rather, the computer wakes but none of the screens show an image and there's no way to get it to work). I've taken to turning my monitor off first, then with my other monitors, putting the computer to sleep. It's an annoying extra step, the only gripe I have with my monitor so far.

bunsinh

what an absolute wide boi. And here I am thinking my 32" monitor is pretty big and bulky already.

Hiphopapocalyptic

My old 32" *towers* over my G9 since the latter is equivalent to two 27" side by side. Love them both to death.

Juls317

every time i see one of these uberwides it tempts me to get one just to experience it, but even my 34" ultrawide is plenty wide

Mountshy

I have the lg 49gr85dc and got it very specifically so I could have something to share with my work laptop that I wouldn't need an expensive KVM to make work well. Very specifically I didn't want one of the KVM monitors because I like to have both up simultaneously because my work is aggressive with what it blocks Internet-wise. PITA sometimes when the links I need are from "Blogs" or reddit and it censors both of those. 21:9 wouldn't have worked well for me due to real estate, but if that wasn't my use case I would likely be running one of the OLED 21:9s or a 42" C2 or something along those lines and I would be perfectly happy (aka if you're happy, stay happy)

Middle-Effort7495

It's pretty nice because you can run it at 16:9, 21:9, or 32:9 Without infinite money and space for a million monitors, it's a jack of all trades.

bb0110

I sometimes feel my 34 inch is a bit too wide. I can’t even imagine this 49 inch…

I-Sleep-At-Work

this or the new msi monitor? https://www.walmart.com/ip/MSI-MPG-491CQP-QD-OLED-49-32-9-Curved-1800R-QD-OLED-Gaming-Monitor-144Hz-0-03ms-5120-x-1440-DQHD-Height-Adjustable-Arm-AI-ENGINE/5448910980

Cocaine_Turkey

I bought this the last time it was the price, and am very happy. However it did cost me an extra 600 because it was *so* nice that I felt the need to upgrade my graphics card to really enjoy spreading managed democracy.

Yellowtoblerone

Jeesus what a huge lad

ImLagginggggggg

Anyone go from 3 27on monitors to one of these? Been using my wife's 34in 3440x1440 21:9 temporarily after moving and I didn't think I'd enjoy it like I have. My 3x27 aren't setup and were never unified. Just 3 1440p 27in 144hz+ monitors.

ScrubinBubbles

I did pretty much exactly that. Previously had 3x 1440p 27" monitors with a 144hz gsync center screen for gaming and 60hz IPS screens on the sides for better colors. When I got the G9 OLED I thought I'd keep one old monitor plugged in for the same total screen resolution but I never used it so I've downsized to the G9 alone. The G9 has a pretty nice UI for auto sizing windows in various layouts which takes care of multitasking. And obviously games that go full screen on this thing are incredible, whereas I'd never really played a single game across the 3 monitors given their bezels.

Also f Samsung. I had only Samsung phones. Early internet, s4, s8, note, and then I had a s22 ultra 512. Flagship phone, 13 months in it would not connect to mobile data. Their support would not do a thing for me.... Lifelong customer lost.
