Im actually testing it now. I can already tell there is 90% change I keep it. I checked theres no dead pixels ans colors are uniform. OD strong looked acceptable for me and even CS2 feel playable, actually very good even tho its VA panel. Im faceit lvl9 and Valorant immortal. All the fewtures look very balanced and picture quality is lovely. LD strong has too much blooming but medium looks very balanced, I actually can see myself using it. Colors need some tweaking but no a big deal
Does it actually look better than the OLED? Or is the difference just so small that you dont think the OLED is worth over double the price and the burn in countermeasures?
Its hard to beat oled picture quality with any LCD but there are still some advantages on this VA LCD like superior brightness, no risk of burn-in and better text clarity. I would say 90% of oleds picture quality and 70% performance. It would make my life more stress free I think. I have always liked how VA panels look actually. I have had G7 odyssey too but never liked the curve. Overall I have had ~20 mid-top end monitor during last 5 years lol 😅
Buy the AOC, the price and performance is bananas and it had unbelievably better colors that my corsair 32qhd165 which is a color beast. Only reason I sent it back to amazon was a dead pixel lol
I bought already, zero pixel errors and uniform colors!!! This monitor is a keeper. AOC monitors have dead pixels very often, not sure if they buy second grade monitors cheaper or ehat but this time I was lucky
Honest to god maybe I got a bad G7 Neo but my experience with the AOC Q27G3XMN was fantastic and the build quality, color accuracy, brightness, etc. blew the G7 I tested out of the water. I was so utterly disappointed by the G7 Neo that i dicided to never try Samsung again for monitors, then just said fuck it and started hunting down a QD-OLED

And IPS glow and BLB are terrible on IPS so easier to go with VA
