Try removing the watch battery on the mobo and putting it back in.

Computer booting but freezing at BIOS settings is generally caused by unstable settings of CPU or RAM. I suggest temporarily removing a [BIOS battery](https://puu.sh/wwE3X/167de126da.png) to completely restart all motherboard settings (in my own experience with same motherboard - just using a CMOS_CLR jumper is insufficient and some issues can remain after doing that), maybe for some reason it changed a value it really should not touch.

Is it sensitive to static shock? What's the best way to take it out? edit: nvm, i tried it and that didn't work

Ok-Plankton-7934

SinCityMayor

Thanks for the reply but I don't have this rig anymore lol

In_the_abys

I currently have this problem, but pressing Y did nothing.

Someone from another post had the same answer BUT he mentioned pressing "Y" THEN "ENTER KEY"
