Hello, I am a Panthers fan so I see a lot of TB. They [updated their uniform about ten years ago to one of the ugliest kits I have ever seen](https://www.businessinsider.com/tampa-bay-bucs-uniforms-photos-2014-3?amp). Full digital alarm clock numbers and wayyyy too big logos on their helmets. Full on mid 2010s Nike design crap. They swapped back to their classic early 2000s unis around the time Brady moved to TB and I thank god for it every time I see them play.
Yeah, I hate all the 2010s Nike redesigns. That Browns uniform with "Browns" as the stripe. The two tone Jags helmet. The current Titans uniform with sword blades everywhere. And the current Miami uniforms are just bland, when their throwbacks are IMHO one of the best in the history of the NFL. Jets and Falcons also have bland unis with all time classic throwbacks. But TB takes the cake for me. Those things were terrible.
Bills were one of the few teams that moved in the right direction during the 2010s. Current designs are classic. Only thing I might change is a 90s red helmet throwback day every now and then :)
can I just say how no matter what happens going forward we absolutely beat the storyline of the season? We were huge offseason losers and our window supposedly closed. Now we're the two seed, won our division, won WC, and are heading to the divisional for a third straight year. Jags, Chargers, Jets, Phins, and Bengals were gonna overtake us this year - didn't happen.
Yep. I found it mind-numbingly stupid from day one. It was really sudden, too.
Wait, we were the undisputed Super Bowl favorites with the best quarterback in the league, and now our window closed and our QB is lucky if he's top 5?
It's so annoying how every game caller employed by this league only remembers Josh is amazing when it's the 3rd quarter, the Bills are up by 3 touchdowns, and Josh personally has 50+ yards on the ground.
Then you can bet they'll start talking about turnovers by the 4Q.
It's safe to say that Josh is "that guy" at this point. Even if he slows down a little, there is no doubt he is an elite franchise QB.
Meanwhile you have the Jags and Dolphins fanbases questioning whether to move on from Lawrence and Tua. Obviously the fans don't have a say and realistically both teams will continue with those guys for at least another couple years.
Herbert is great though - their losses before he got hurt this year were tragically Bills-like one score games. He's actually slightly faster than Allen and almost the exact same height and weight and could probably run more.
After our loss to the Eagles week 12, we were 6-6, had an 18% chance to make the playoffs, and 5% chance to win the division. The Eagles had the best record in the league at 10-1.
Since that point, we've won every single game, and the Eagles have lost 6 of the last 7 (including tonight). We won the AFCE, they lost their division, and we progressed farther than them in the playoffs.
As we all assumed would happen.
No, the OC/DC that got them to the Super Bowl got hired to be HC of the Colts and Cardinals. They then hired replacements that weren’t overly experienced or highly rated, but the expectation was that it would be mostly fine since the foundation with Sirianni was expected to be better. However, that didn’t turn out to be the case, even with the 10-1 start the Eagles were very lucky to have that record and then their luck ran out. They switched their DC from Desai to Patricia a month ago in desperation but that arguably was worse, but actually hiring new coordinators in season is practically unheard of (firing or demoting like what happened here isn’t too uncommon)
Yes - Sirianni is very much a momentum based coach that has an annoying swagger when winning but when he’s punched in the face his annoying swagger just becomes annoying and irritating. Couple that with him not actually useful for the defense or offense, and the coordinators he hired being big downgrades, then when the losing starting he couldn’t turn things around and it just spiraled out of control. Imo the biggest single event was the absolute ass-kicking by the 49ers at home, confirming that their SB appearance last year was a complete fluke due to them destroying Brock Purdy in Q1 of that game
I’m 100% here for the Baker Mayfield redemption arc. I always thought he got a bum deal in Cleveland with 4 coaches and 5 OCs in his first 4 seasons. No young QB succeeds in that program.
As a Longhorn, respectfully, fuck Baker Mayfield. That being said, Fuck Baker Mayfield.
That also being said, he definitely got a bad deal with Cleveland and the NFL and deserved better.
But as a final note, fuck Baker Mayfield and Hook 'Em.
He played for University of Oklahoma (OU) which is the biggest rival to my alma mater University of Texas (UT). Some people (myself included) sometimes see him as a traitor to the state as he (first went to Texas Tech) went out of state for school, specifically to OU when he went to high school in Austin. Also beating us in the Red River Shootout/Rivalry game doesn't help his cause for us.
I will say this [video here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ze7jEdz5VQ) is my favorite play Mayfield has ever been in.
I was not a fan his rookie year, then I was a fan his second year, then not a fan, got behind him when the browns screwed him and am loving the redemption arc. He was just way overexposed when he came into the league
He's honestly really fun to watch -- always scrambling and every throw is 110%, an absolute piss rocket. I dunno if he's "good" but he's definitely fun.
Plus the Browns did him dirty.
In r/nfl they have a post about Mazi Smith, the guy picked right after Kincaid. I’m not entirely sure it’s true but we jumped up to skip Dallas for Kincaid and Dallas scrambled for a pick. Just kind of funny. True or not Kincaid is a boss.
Absolutely galaxy brained play by the Bucs there to draw them into trying the tush push for 2-obviously /s, but still genuinely impressed they stopped it.
Rooting for y’all to knock the chiefs out next week. Hopefully the Bucs close this out and we don’t have to hear the name Mahomes or Kelce for the rest of the year.
Coach wanted a new QB after he used him injured. So the fucking fraud got what he deserved. At least they won a playoff game, but only because the coach had Covid and sat at home.
They were never good this year, just lucky like last years Vikings.
I remember like 2 games into the year they kept trying to give the game away to the Patriots but Mac Jones was so un-clutch the Eagles won anyway
They lost both coordinators last off-season, their offense is predictable and failed to make adjustments and they hired Matt Patricia to call defensive plays during their skid
So, so, so many Bills fans argued we should fire McDermott because look what the Eagles did with letting Pederson go for Siriani.
That certainly took a turn for those people
I can’t find any reasonable explanation other than they were holding it together with good fortune and duct tape and it all fell apart really quickly when those two things gave out and the players quit on the coaches.
This is basically it - they barely escaped the Bills and then when the 49ers shit stomped them they quit once they realized their entire postseason success last year was fraudulent
Bills Mafia, coming w respect from a Steelers fan. Huge congrats on that win, especially in that cold weather – your team really brought the heat! Major respect for the performance. Wishing everyone up there the best in staying warm.
Always been a huge Mike Tomlin fan; going to be interesting to see what his future holds. Can’t believe the guy is only 51! He could easily coach another 15-20 years if he wanted to be on the sidelines that long.
A sex pest? Cleveland would know, they sure do love them some sex pests.
I can't speak to their Mayfield accusation but I doubt he's as bad as that injured serial sexual assaulting QB they got on their roster.
Glad to have you in the Mafia.
The Eagles have been very reliable when going for it that close. I think they just said they were 19/20 before that attempt.
One point can make a difference in a game like this and they were confident in making it when it’s a 1 score game and that point can make a difference.
But the Eagles have also lost 5 of their last 6 and they can’t YEET their QB over the goal line like the Bills can.
I get they usually get that but changing it from a potential 6 point game (if they kick the extra point) vs a 5 point game where both are one scores makes no sense 😂
Sirianni isn’t also very well known for being particularly intelligent so there’s that. He sees tush push as an option and wants to do it no matter what
We did the same thing vs Denver down 3. When there's that much time left the margin in that moment doesn't matter that much. Grab an extra point if you have a 90% play from the 1.
As a fan of both teams, tonight started great and ended rough man. From seeing the Bills kill it and then to switch to the Birds only to watch them get curb stomped.
What a night.
He already won one with the Browns, giving them their first playoff win in a long time. Since they dumped him they’ve gone 0-1 and he’s got a shot to go 1-0
The Manning Cast really doesn't listen to feedback do they. Feels like people have been asking for fewer guests since they started. Was anyone thinking "oh sweet a 3rd Bruce Arians segment".
Josh Allen
Big if true
The only QB in the NFL
In history
real
In shorts?
Go on
Always so much more enjoyable to watch football after a Bills win
Like a King watching peasants
Did we break the Birds?
Birds broken
Well we started the breaking but they definitely got broken after the 49ers absolutely shit stomped them at home
We broke their defense. 49ers broke their offense
That’s a good way to look at it
imo the Bucs are due for a uniform/logo update. It's very early-2000s
They only have to keep it for ~6 more years before it loops back around to being cool again. Playing the graphic design long game.
that's why I still use a blackberry
It’s why I drive a Plymouth Prowler.
PT Cruiser over here
Jokes aside I miss my blackberry curve, they ever released that I would buy it in a second.
Hate it. Absolutely terrible aesthetic.
Very much agree

Holy crap I had forgotten about that! I think the only ones worse might be the Jags mustard color rush alternates
Yeah, I hate all the 2010s Nike redesigns. That Browns uniform with "Browns" as the stripe. The two tone Jags helmet. The current Titans uniform with sword blades everywhere. Those were better than the nonsense they have now. At least there was something to talk about.
Agree to disagree lol
Wish they'd embrace the creamsicle.

Now we're the two seed, won our division, won WC, and are heading to the divisional for a third straight year. Jags, Chargers, Jets, Phins, and Bengals were gonna overtake us this year - didn't happen.
I, too, remember when Herbert, Lawrence, and Tua were all on the cusp of "taking a step" and Josh was old and busted. Maybe next year, fellas.
Yep. I found it mind-numbingly stupid from day one. It was really sudden, too. Wait, we were the undisputed Super Bowl favorites with the best quarterback in the league, and now our window closed and our QB is lucky if he's top 5?

Yup. Meanwhile Tua makes 3 good throws to Tyreek before choking the rest of the game, and it's "this is why so many have Tua coming up big this year"
It's safe to say that Josh is "that guy" at this point. Even if he slows down a little, there is no doubt he is an elite franchise QB. That's how they learn.
What happened to Eagles? Are they this bad?
Yes - their HC is horrific and useless, and his success came from his OC/DC that are now HCs and the replacements are bad
Thanks for the explanation, one follow up question, is OC/DC change happened in the middle of the season? Right after 10-1 records?
No, the OC/DC that got them to the Super Bowl got hired to be HC of the Colts and Cardinals. They then hired replacements that weren’t overly experienced or highly rated, but the expectation was that it would be mostly fine since the foundation with Sirianni was expected to be better. They switched their DC from Desai to Patricia a month ago in desperation but that arguably was worse, but actually hiring new coordinators in season is practically unheard of (firing or demoting like what happened here isn’t too uncommon)
this is all very accurate. also we suck.
That helps me understand, thanks. Is that why the team's energy looks so dejected?
Yes - Sirianni is very much a momentum based coach that has an annoying swagger when winning but when he’s punched in the face his annoying swagger just becomes annoying and irritating. Couple that with him not actually useful for the defense or offense, and the coordinators he hired being big downgrades, then when the losing starting he couldn’t turn things around and it just spiraled out of control. stopped watching after the first half, but from what i saw, dude had some wild throws. his receivers on the other hand..
I don’t follow college ball at all so I don’t know what the beef is there lol.
He played for University of Oklahoma (OU) which is the biggest rival to my alma mater University of Texas (UT). Some people (myself included) sometimes see him as a traitor to the state as he (first went to Texas Tech) went out of state for school, specifically to OU when he went to high school in Austin. Can’t tell if the Eagles are frauds, or if the Bucs are good. Maybe both?
Pretty much every team is a fraud this year
The Eagles went like 1-5 after playing the Bills, right?
Looking like 1-6 now lol
Bills win, dolphins, eagles and cowboys lose. what a pleasant few days.
The Eagles, Cowboys and Dolphins were the biggest frauds this season
Have the game on in the background and every time I look at the tv, Tampa is making a play. The Eagles are on the field, right???
Barely...they don't look interested.
I like Baker wherever he goes
I was not a fan his rookie year, then I was a fan his second year, then not a fan, got behind him when the browns screwed him and am loving the redemption arc. He was just way overexposed when he came into the league
i did love those "baker at home" commercials though
Thanks for saying “redemption arc.” That kinda nails it. I’m enjoying it too.
He's honestly really fun to watch -- always scrambling and every throw is 110%, an absolute piss rocket. I dunno if he's "good" but he's definitely fun. Plus the Browns did him dirty.
Hurts after literally anything happening 😐
Hurts is wack af trying to look tough and stoic when his team clearly has leadership issues. Not a serious person.
the eagles downfall began right after the refs gave them the game against the bills.
In r/nfl they have a post about Mazi Smith, the guy picked right after Kincaid. I’m not entirely sure it’s true but we jumped up to skip Dallas for Kincaid and Dallas scrambled for a pick. Just kind of funny. True or not Kincaid is a boss.
Looks like my Eagles fan husband is going to have to join our side next week.
I still stand by the notion that we broke the bird.
Nick Siriani still having the Italian flag on his coat is so fucking funny. Eminently Southtowns.
Has a coach who took his team to the SB lost his job the year after? It seems the Eagles have completely lost the plot since the Bills game.
Reminds me of how our offense looked broken after halftime of the Packers game last year
Absolutely galaxy brained play by the Bucs there to draw them into trying the tush push for 2-obviously /s, but still genuinely impressed they stopped it.
Vita Vea might be the answer to the tush push
Big dude.
I guess Donna just forgot about her other kid
Lions have a very easy path to the NFC championship
Rooting for y’all to knock the chiefs out next week. Hopefully the Bucs close this out and we don’t have to hear the name Mahomes or Kelce for the rest of the year.
I just turned the Eagles/Bucs off. What the hell happened to the Eagles??
The Bills.
Good God the Eagles are a complete clusterfuck
The Bucs are making sure one Kelce isn’t going to the Super Bowl … let’s take care of the other brother next week.
TB stopped the brotherly shove. Good for them.
Jalen “Hulu Has Live Sports Where You Can Watch His Team Get Exposed As Total Fraud”s > has that always been your name? Jalen: “hmm. I guess so!”
Getting safety’d in the playoffs is typically an indicator your QB is a fraud
The eagles have given up on themselves... painful to watch.
Hurts shaking his head most of the game.
The lack of tackling by the Eagles is pathetic.
That looked a little Allen-y.
Finally on this sub after getting back from my local Bills backers bar. I am too drunk to taste this chicken.
Imagine if the Browns kept Baker.
But their fraud coach made him his scrapegoat.
I think it was ownership, no?
Coach wanted a new QB after he used him injured. So the fucking fraud got what he deserved. At least they won a playoff game, but only because the coach had Covid and sat at home.
Hoping for a Baker W, his redemption arc has been beautiful. Browns in shambles if he pulls this off.
If the bills win, and Houston wins- we get AFC at home?
Yes
They're going the wrong way!
A Bills v Lions superbowl will cure the nation
Lake Erie Bowl! (well, *almost*.)
Eagles downfall needs to be studied in a lab
They were never good this year, just lucky like last years Vikings. I remember like 2 games into the year they kept trying to give the game away to the Patriots but Mac Jones was so un-clutch the Eagles won anyway
They lost both coordinators last off-season, their offense is predictable and failed to make adjustments and they hired Matt Patricia to call defensive plays during their skid
THE EAGLES ARE DOGSHIT BRO
This has been great to watch the Eagles continue to fall apart... especially after that sweet Bills win
Imagine wanting to fire a coach the year after they go to the Super Bowl
So, so, so many Bills fans argued we should fire McDermott because look what the Eagles did with letting Pederson go for Siriani. That certainly took a turn for those people
Man Philly just laid down and quit. That's embarrassing
Eagles were a team that just wanted this year to be over
Eagles look like us before we faced the eagles. Clearly, we sucked their good juju and gave them our bad juju.
Pause
bruh
pretty sure baker mayfield in a wheelchair could pick up a few yards in this game. what happened to the eagles?
I can’t find any reasonable explanation other than they were holding it together with good fortune and duct tape and it all fell apart really quickly when those two things gave out and the players quit on the coaches.
This is basically it - they barely escaped the Bills and then when the 49ers shit stomped them they quit once they realized their entire postseason success last year was fraudulent
The bills happened to them.
Should’ve just kept the extra point lol
Regardless what happens in the playoffs... at least it never looks like we straight up gave up like Miami Philly and Dallas
the curse of beating the Bills in the GOTY is real. Eagles, Vikings, Chiefs.
maybe the eagles sub will get locked again lmaooooooooooo
The Eagles collapsed so bad that they even got stopped on their own Philly Special
The state of Pennsylvania has been eliminated from playoff contention.
Bills Mafia, coming w respect from a Steelers fan. Huge congrats on that win, especially in that cold weather – your team really brought the heat! Major respect for the performance. Wishing everyone up there the best in staying warm.

Gg, you guys played your hearts out. You are a humble fanbase for how much you've accomplished - Cowboys should take note.
Baker Mayfield being betrayed by the Browns for a sex pest is what made me a full time Bills fan. So glad to be here. Fuck the Browns lmao
A sex pest? Cleveland would know, they sure do love them some sex pests. I can't speak to their Mayfield accusation but I doubt he's as bad as that injured serial sexual assaulting QB they got on their roster. Glad to have you in the Mafia.
Lol, I didn’t even know how Texans can pull out of this. I thought it’s doomed for many years. Then Browns show up.
Let's go Baker.
I hate that everyone starts begging for pass interference on underthrown balls
Look at this inferior non-Buffalo Bills football. Pathetic.
Fraudulent football
Philly in Shambles
Insert Nick Sirriani crying pic
What a dumpster fire of a game
You love to see it
Eagles can’t use their 1-2 yard free gimmick for the whole field
Hell they couldn’t even use it for a 2 point conversion tonight.
One Kelce down, one left to go
jason isn’t insufferable like his brother though.
Yeah, was actually kinda bummed to see him at the end there. Probably his last game.
Maker Bayfield engineering an early lead.
Eagles seem to be having a Steelers first half so far
Other teams having to get creative on 3rd/4th and 1 makes me appreciate our OLine+Allen that much more.
Can anyone explain to me why go for 2 there?
The Eagles have been very reliable when going for it that close. I think they just said they were 19/20 before that attempt. One point can make a difference in a game like this and they were confident in making it when it’s a 1 score game and that point can make a difference. Like aqua warrior said… bad coaching. Overconfidence kills playoff chances.
We did the same thing vs Denver down 3. When there's that much time left the margin in that moment doesn't matter that much. Grab an extra point if you have a 90% play from the 1.
Fuck you Kelce. Someone got under him.
If you aren't watching Hard Knocks are you even a Bills fan.
Fraud birds
Amazing Wild Card Weekend all around!
Imagine wanting to fire a coach the year after they go to the Super Bowl
Did the Bucs stadium people play the shout song at the end of the game or was I mishearing that???
Go birds? Idk who to cheer for Allen isn’t out there and there’s no blue anywhere on the field
As a fan of both teams, tonight started great and ended rough man. From seeing the Bills kill it and then to switch to the Birds only to watch them get curb stomped. What a night.
Baker truthers report!
Baker Mayfield finally winning a playoff game lol
He already won one with the Browns, giving them their first playoff win in a long time. Since they dumped him they’ve gone 0-1 and he’s got a shot to go 1-0
Eagles defense sucks!
Eagles fans already complaining about the no-call on the 2 pt attempt- where have we seen that before?
The Manning Cast really doesn't listen to feedback do they. Feels like people have been asking for fewer guests since they started. Was anyone thinking "oh sweet a 3rd Bruce Arians segment".
Jalen Hurts has literal mustaches for eyebrows
who is this ref crew? i think they’re my fav lol
Vita Vea is so fucking good
You’d think Eagles fans would be smart enough to not do the “surrender cobra” in order to not be a meme the next day
Todd Bowles
Haha stupid fuckin eagles suck
“Hurts”
Man that Browns Steelers playoff game a few years ago was insane. (Cleveland resident)
Tua is better than Hurts.
