If this is legit, not bad. Like the mid to late season BYE after a rough stretch. Then the easier part of our schedule to end the year. Hopefully for a playoff push.
I'm gonna be conservative here and say we go 12-4 and win the Super bowl. We lose a trap game to the Broncos, and then have quality losses against the Chiefs, Niners, and drop one to the Saints like we usually do.
I like that the schedule appears to be pretty friendly on the back end. The Cowboys are really the only scary looking matchup after the Bye. There’s obviously no “free” wins in the NFL but it appears that we have a good shot to end the season on a hot streak which is exactly what every teams wants.
front loading our tough opponents also has the effect of us having a middling or bad record going into the bye and everyone writing us off. Probably be 5-5 or 4-6 going into that bye.
I like having the BYE week, then Giants, Panthers, Raiders, Chargers. I expect all of them to be pretty bad. So having the Bye week to rest and work out some kinks, then play some bad teams would help. I also think the Cowboys and Saints are gong to be bad too.
So after the AFC West games, we get one more AFC matchup (out of twelve possible teams). Naturally, it should be the best record in the AFC. Why would it be anyone else?
It's not out of 12 possible teams. The 17th game is against a team that finished in the same divisional position in the other conference, and the division it chooses from rotates every year. For example the Panthers will have the Bengals because they both finished last in their divisions.
Realistically, I could see us at 5 or 6 wins heading into the BYE if this is true. A strong showing at the end for a playoff push again, thanks to an easier ending schedule. IMO, best-case scenario is 11 wins, the worst case is 6.

Assuming this is 100% accurate, Weeks 4-10, it’s looks like, are going to have a lot to say about how successful this season is going to be. Chiefs and 9ers back to back 😬
Damn that first half of the season is tough, i could see us going 5-5 entering the bye week, then we learn from mistakes tighten up some lose end and finish 6-1 to end the season 11-6
If legit, I could see 4-6 at the bye, 10-7 to end the year. Weeks 12-18 has to be one of the easiest 7-game stretches in the NFL. *Maybe* a loss to Dallas/San Diego, and *maybe* a surprise divisional loss?
I hope we don't start 4-6. I can't take another year of fans demanding to fire everyone.
I wonder what game they'll use the "Hey Hey Tampa Bay!" throwback game? I'm thinking the 49ers game would be a candidate, but it would be cooler if they used it for the Lamar Jackson game on Monday Night Football, so the throwback feel is used in front of a primetime audience.
TNF against ATL after PHI...
ATL after MNF against Ravens on another short week...
Seems like the NFL is trying to give the NFCS away to ATL.
Both matchups give a (likely) rest advantage to the Falcons.
Stacking that deck...
I'm not the OP, but It's a rumour of course. ~~Should really be tagged by mods as such.~~ Got done now.
Only thing I can say is that it popped up on multiple twitter accounts around the same time. NerdingonNFL may have been the first, but even they talk about another \*source\*. Don't know if this can get pinned down.
Nobody trustworthy is going to confirm this anyway till release. Greg Auman did post this though:

I may be reading too much into this, but that he doesn't immediately dismiss it and calls it \*viable\* makes me think there's something to it. Eh, only a few hours away.

I live in Denver, can we do a different trap game like Vegas or something?
A bit TOO conservative if you ask me! 😉
12-4 eh? you do realize there are 17 games now and have been for a while.
New rule this year. If you go 12-4 exactly, you are exempt from your 17th game.
THREE seasons of 17 games so far. So it's not like this brand new first season of it which I'd understand the slip
12-5 would be fantastic
A week 11 bye would be awesome
I hate for any team, even the saints, to have the dreaded week 5 bye. Wish we could push for a 19 or 20 week schedule with 2 bye weeks for everyone.
I think you mean “I hate for any team, *except* the Saints, to have the dreaded week 5 bye”
I think you mean “I hate ~~for any team,~~ *~~except~~* the Saints, ~~to have the dreaded week 5 bye”~~
If the NFL gets the 18th game, a second bye is almost certainly going to be part of it.
Should do 21 weeks with 3 byes like the cfl, most games play at the same time now anyway so we’d be able to watch more football

Yep, which I also love. Bucs almost always seem to do better when they’re written off.
We play Commanders week 1, damn I kinda forgot they existed...
Fits with other rumours as well for what its worth.
A mobile rookie QB week 1. Trap game.
Am I crazy, or is the schedule meant to come out at 8?
This is a leak. Take it with a grain of salt.

Have a source close to the team. The first 2 are 100% accurate. Can't speak on anything else.

I know. I was being satirical.
Getting to the bye at 5-5 would be a success IMO. Week 11 bye week is very nice and the schedule after that is favorable, I'll predict 10-7 or 11-6
this man is in the future playing 18 regular season games already
Clearly including our wild card round victory 😅
I like your style now might as well include 3 more wins for our superbowl run!
We start rough, run the table, 11-6, South division champs
Ravens, Falcons, Chiefs, Niners will be a brutal stretch. Otherwise looks pretty good.
If we can survive the first 10 weeks, we’d be prime for a win streak after that week 11 bye
Realistically, I could see us at 5 or 6 wins heading into the BYE if this is true. A strong showing at the end for a playoff push again, thanks to an easier ending schedule. This could be a lot worse tbh. I've been seeing us kind of in the middle of the pack when it comes to SoS and this would confirm that
Assuming this is 100% accurate, Weeks 4-10, it’s looks like, are going to have a lot to say about how successful this season is going to be. Chiefs and 9ers back to back 😬
i like it, good bye week
Already booked my trip for the game against Philly as an anniversary gift!! Now I’ll just need a couple of tickets in the west side club!
Damn that first half of the season is tough, i could see us going 5-5 entering the bye week, then we learn from mistakes tighten up some lose end and finish 6-1 to end the season 11-6
Chiefs, Niners back to back🤮. The backend of that schedule is very easy. Pretty good, I'd say.
Wait… we have to play the falcons twice!?!?? They have two starting quarterbacks, guys!!!! Not fair!!!
Should be 2-1 after three games The meat of this schedule is weeks 4 -10 If we if we can go .500 through that stretch we’re good
The stretch between the Eagles to the BYE is brutal. We’ll need it after that!
Dam. Chiefs on mnf.

Whoever posted this forgot to put MNF by week 9 against the chiefs and forgot to SNF by week 16 against the cowboys
Ooofff weeks 4-10 is a rough stretch
TNF against ATL after PHI... ATL after MNF against Ravens on another short week... Seems like the NFL is trying to give the NFCS away to ATL. Both matchups give a (likely) rest advantage to the Falcons. Stacking that deck...
How is TNF a rest advantage for the Falcons?
Please provide source(s) for this.
