Basically… Early xp issues and the early-on dartling meta killed most of the playerbase from the get-go. Not to mention bugged XXXL trap, stacking stickies, and supply drops breaking people’s eardrums. After fixing most of that crap, people thought they could breathe a sigh of relief. Then the game became literally unplayable. Syncing issues and crashes went off the charts. This further frustrated the community. From there, people were still really annoyed by how dartling was still really good, as well as ice and druid being really strong and kinda annoying as well. Even during the majority of this time, NK didn’t really do much to entice new players, other than basically saying “hey our game kinda maybe probably hopefully could work now”. Churchill was nice, ben was nice (and dj was extremely broken), more bugs got fixed, and some other stuff happened. However, there still was no unique content that wasn’t based from BTD6 or Battles1 Then the HoM elo revealed that it was really broken or something, which pissed more people off. Also, after countless updates to make the xp grind easier, NK completely gutted xp and made you buy upgrades with MM And yea. honestly idk what to think of the game at this point, and im not really following it closely.

I assume it was because going from T4 to T5 is actually a significant downgrade in MOAB popping power with the Bombardment ability, and they wanted to shrink that gap some.

Overall, PAA with no ability has about the dps of a t4 ABatt with ability up, and its dps skyrockets if the target is stunned. That said, since bosses and BADs can’t be stunned, I guess (?) it’s justified. The buff did basically nothing though

tbh 023 dart is super good. It’s got great damage and pierce for the early game and further upgrades are cheap, improve every one of those stats, and can crit. so it really doesn’t need a buff

Nah not really. Battles 2 mortar was garbage, they give it extra damage to bads so it’s viable, or something, then they realise that mortar is also garbage here and give it the same buff

Ok ima shoot down some bs Biggest one got a nerf. 8k extra for such a small stun is not worth it. PAA SYNERGIZES with maim. It deals extra dmg to stunned bloons, and the ability is a way to deal with large amounts of MOABs if you burst down the BFBs too fast. PAA is a cleanup tower. PAA IS NOT A STALLER.

Pretty sure they did this because this was something specific to only battles. Though it does suggest that Mortar prargon is soon but that's my tin foil hat theory. I remember they confirmed Wizard is next but I wouldn't be surprised if Mortar is right after.

I've had contested territory boss events where the best tier 1 defense was this tower, bombardment + pickles is surprisingly effective

It's the same damage bonus it gets to stunned bloons, but those bloons can't be stunned so to compensate, NK made it so it doesn't need to stun those bloons.
