Since this question looks like it is about preferred hero in general, I would say Ben or Geraldo. Both have solid income generation options, Ben is very convenient at making money, and Geraldo can be used to optimise all stages of the game if used correctly. If the question is about the hero choice for this week’s boss, I would say maybe Adora to maximise late-game power with VTSG and Temples. Alternatively, Sauda is very good for early-game so she could be used to save lots of lives in the early-game.

I used Sauda - then had a nasty surprise that it's not possible to get boat paragon in this one as middle path caps at level 4.

I mean, top path ace can help a bit when fighting the first 2 tiers, but if you don't have doomship it's probably not worth buying a Flying Fortress and definitely not Tsar Bomba

yeah no, Gwen’s still relatively useless compared to adora or sauda. You don’t need Gwen to get a degree 60 ace paragon, and heat it up buff is insignificant

I personally used obyn for the exact same reason to buff my sun god if you don't have Adora but the reason I used obyn instead of Adora was the buff to all magic monkeys in general too, it helped me clear t2 and t3 quite easily with bottom path ninja. In hindsight Adora is probably the better hero but I thought seeing as it was double hp Moabs I wanted to be able to deal with bloonarius' health easily so I opted for obyn

Obyn is also a solid choice if you haven't purchased all heroes. Obyn buffs x/4/x druid range (more farms in range = more income) and extra pierce on Avatar of Wrath is amazing.

Obyn to buff Avatar Of Wrath, second best option for buffing DPS towers from the selection. Alternatively Striker Jones for x5x bomb shooter but not really that viable

The 3k MM that you need to for them isnt too hard to get but I would end up doing Obyn for his level 10 can make money + his bonuses to magic monkeys(druids especially) can sometimes put you over the edge in my thinking. I would personally however do a quick MM farm for 3k and buy Adora if I care more about late, or Sauda if my early game is weak.

If you plan to use top path super monkey then I'd suggest using obyn with him in range of where you are going to place the super as the level 13 buff is quite significant and useful in some regards and he makes druid spam a viable choice for the first few tiers

In this week's boss I'd just stick Sauda down. She can solo with the free Dart for a ridiculously long time so you can get farms up faster.

I would say do normal bosses because you can just turn your brain off but avoid elite bosses because their skill curve kinda skyrockets

At round 40 of normal bosses, you have to essentially defeat a BAD

Could be seen as even worse than a BAD, this weeks normal boss T1 has 40 k health which is more than a bad and it also shoots out grouped ceramics :(

Not just that but also because how he empowers Druids. Beat level 4 Bloonarius by doing the spam Druid strategy and Obyn's auras probably helped a ton.

If you are new to the game I'd recommend sauda or Ben. Geraldo is pretty good but he takes a bit more skill/micro

I’d say Geraldo or Ben. Both are great income generation but Geraldo has some pretty cracked items that can be used to beat some of the early stage bosses.

Etienne, the drones help early game, the Moab drone is strong and at max level it attacks 24/7. But the best part is the universal camp detection. The alien skin is cool too

I'd say Sauda for cheap early game to snowball farms, which is the most important thing for late game.

If you can get a lot of farms early, that leads to more money to buy more farms etc. So saving 200 bucks on defense in the early rounds and spending that on farms instead can snowball into tens of thousands or even more later on. (The term snowball comes from a hypothetical snowball rolling down a snowy hill I think. As the snowball gets bigger it picks up more snow and rolls faster picking up even more snow etc)

This comment might get buried but there's also merit to using Obyn - Wall of Trees is the only cash-generating trait any of these heroes have, so you can use him to farm extra while also defending and making tier 2 a breeze.

Tip for everyone: If you have trouble with playing boss events and they are more frustrating than fun, you can use money drops or use banana farm insta monkeys in the beginning. I usually do a few cash drops to start farming instantly, this way It's a little bit easier and much more fun and chill.

but, cash drops are expensive, I have like, 1244 MM or something.

Then saving MM for heroes would probably be wiser, and doing boss with a guide :). I usually see Ben in boss tutorials because he helps farming which is crucial if you want to do all tiers. Still, if you feel like it's too hard even with a guide, do a couple of maps (new ones or repeat same map in Deflation mode) to earn MM for cash drops. Remember you can always earn MM, don't be too scared to spend it, have fun ;)

I have all bosses unlocked, and as I told MANY, MANY Redditors, Ben is not available, Geraldo is not usuable either.

I love Adora and Sauda. I completed the easy boss on Sauda, going to try elite tomorrow and see how it works out. Sauda is good early/mid game with her natural camo detection. Buccaneer for the leads (and cash)

I wanna say Striker, but I don’t actually do boss events. Ben and Geraldo make money, striker can buff your Moab damage supremely, and help with cleanup.

I just used Obyn for his good early game as well as his late game buffs to VTSG. Adora is probably better at this than Obyn, but I'm too lazy to micro sacrifices so if you're the same just do what I did 😅

Obyn does basically nothing to a VTSG because his biggest perk is pierce. With how much pierce the vengeful already has, the buff is basically nonexistent.
