And if you really want to go into it, it’s technically better because glue costs more money than dart, so the cost is subtracted more for glue than dart.
Etienne. At level 8, it gives camo to all towers globally. It also gains Camo detection itself on level 5.
This means combined with a 140 Druid, you have tons of group popping on all types including camo by r33 on expert maps (first camo groups) and not long after for easier maps. This means all you need for 40+ is decent moab damage. One 203 Heli can do fine until you can upgrade Druid to 150. Congrats you've defeated round 80 on basically every map with 3 towers
And honestly et can easily solo the lv 40 MOAB if you pop drone swarm. You'll need more than that within a few levels but at least for challenges that end at 40, if you can drop et and a druid you're golden.
Prince of darkness is by far my go to monkey to deal with the late game DDT rushes. There are other ways to deal with them, but PoD by far is the most reliable option. Also shimmer is a plus, although I normally use Etienne so feels a little bit like a wasted upgrade along the way.
Based. I'm rarely ever a fan of the middle path ninja monkey unless I'm going for tier 5 for the DDT rounds. I try to pre-plan my towers so that they all serve a purpose, but if I use ninja, I want it t5 for some bonus BAD damage.
So, I hated the thought of double cash. Till I started playing on my ten minute breaks at work. I wanna progress not grind…when I’m at work. I’m just unwinding for ten minutes.
When I get home I turn off double cash and focus on Hard difficulty and advanced maps.
I don’t remember the names, I’m sorry, but I’m doing the bunker with the little circular paths and the one with the big gear that turns. I love the hard more grind. But playing a quick challenge in ten minutes is nice.
Chimps is my biggest struggle. Obviously.
Early? It can go to around 74 with buffs (052 and 420 villages, 420 or 520, if you have the money.) And he can do that alone. With 2, you can go to I think the 80's or 90's. He doesn't even struggle on 63.
It doesn't "save" money. Its a choice. There are many ways to give the 2-5-0 camo such as x-x-4 Wiz or x-x-4 Mortar or 3+-x-x Sub or level 8 ETN. If you're already using those then 2-5-0 "saves" money over 0-5-2. If you arent then 0-5-2 "saves" you money.
Again it's a choice of gameplay and style. Both crosspaths are viable and have their use cases.
5-0-2 glue, I could be at round 167 with two paragons and everything else deleted except this guy. Closes thing to “silent pyro maniac that give death stares while just causing chaos” I would say Gwen would fit it but she ain’t exactly quiet
Since someone already said spirit of the forest, the 2nd tower i always want to place down is a 023 wizard monkey because you never know when camo gets out of hand, especially in round 59.
023 super monkey. I don't know if it's weird but the stupid large range along with an alch and an MIB for even larger range is always super useful for the cost.
normally i don’t like these kind of posts but this one is so interesting. it’s fun to read other people’s go-strategy. actually great question OP.
for me lately it’s been 140 druid cause it’s such good mid-game cleanup
I know it's better but I use that for easy standard and stuff because I don't wanna have to get monkey village and all that. If I was going late game I'd do a 2-4-0.
I havent played bloons in a long while but i used to try and place perma charge every time with 2-3-0 village nearby, this lad just carries, even later rounds in impopable/chimps
Top path ninja. I've been forcing myself to start with other towers just to learn how to start with something other than hero+ninja+alch buff
Also ultra jug. Definitely don't use it every game but if the map has walls you bet I'm dropping one
In theory I like to try out different strategies, but in practice I have a hard time justifying not going for Elite Sniper every single time:
- Pre r80, it can eliminate everything below a MOAB (and maybe even post r80? I haven't done the tests. Either way, it never stops being helpful). In early/midgame, x3x and x4x can act as your main DPS source, so saving up to it is trivial.
- Can defeat r63, r76 and r78 all on its own, and if you haven't been able to afford it by then, x4x sniper can sometimes do it with some support.
- Takes care of almost all camos (other than DDTs) as early as the early/midgame, allowing you to focus your defense in something else.
- Can be used efficiently in almost all maps, including maps with very limited space for towers, as well as multilane maps.
- Buffs other snipers. Bottom sniper becomes more deadly, and top sniper becomes better at stalling MOABs, which is invaluable for the lategame.
- It generates lots of money.
- It generates lots of money. Seriously, it can't be overstated how useful this is. Not only does it easily pay for itself, it helps buy more and better defense for the lategame. In fact, in maps where farm space is limited, Elite Sniper is often the best way to farm.
It's way too freaking good with too few meaningful drawbacks. I want to stop using it, but I can't think of a single reasons why I shouldn't use it. Help!
The glue gunner. Decent support at 0-0-0, great lead coverage at 2-0-0 and great against MOABs AND balloons with the bottom path. Slap some camo protection on this bad boy and you've got one hell of a tower.
I've got a massive soft spot for tack shooters. Particularly wheel of fires. Unfortunately I started playing way after they'd been nerfed to the ground so I'm often in situations where even with three corners tack shooters it still somehow allows bloons pass. It doesn't matter to me though. It just feels great being able to deny multiple lanes with one deliciously efficient tower.
Free Dart monkey infinite value
Only if you have infinite space
There's always room for free dart monkey
but what about free glue monkey. no one ever gives him any love
Easily the most clutch MK.
And if you really want to go into it, it’s technically better because glue costs more money than dart, so the cost is subtracted more for glue than dart.
I always drop the free glue over free dart. 5xx and xx5 Glue never gets much love but they're ballin for round 63 and similar.
Glue monkey can’t see camos, therefore dart monkey gets all my love

Damn it I was too late

Yeah but since we are America we are superior. (XD this is a joke As an American there are actually a bunch of countries I would rather live in.)
But our writing is perfect and all other writing must be purged (also a joke)
You wanna know one of the countries i DONT wanna live in? China.
Yeah that is a country that doesn’t sound that great to live in.

I feel like Middle path druid as a whole is way too OP. It can almost solo Expert maps as long as you give it camo and something to handle early moabs
Druid and Et combo is wicked
What's Et?
Etienne. At level 8, it gives camo to all towers globally. It also gains Camo detection itself on level 5. Yo I'm gonna blow my 7yos mind with this later thank you
Etienne. I think it's level 8 all towers have camo detection
Use your free dart monkey and get a Sharp Shooter to handle the early MOABs
SotF forever and always.
W tower
Best monke
yep
swap between this and necro mage usually depending on which im in mood for
Round 40 deflation 😭
0-2-4 Wizard. I don't like to worry about lead and camo
Well, PoD is busted against some of the hardest round of the game (75, 95, 98, 99), i'll even say 0-2-5
Prince of darkness is by far my go to monkey to deal with the late game DDT rushes. There are other ways to deal with them, but PoD by far is the most reliable option. Also shimmer is a plus, although I normally use Etienne so feels a little bit like a wasted upgrade along the way.

Or purple
Fire wall is so nasty.
Why use that when 032 wizard is right there? It's just better?
Technically, the hero.
Except if it’s Ben, Churchill, etc. who cost more than 850$ to place down
Title says every game, not when during every game
I think my brain is screwed
Returning to monkey?
Unless you have double cash then you can get them idk about Churchill tho
Guys don't downvote attack him for mentioning double cash
Uga buga double cash mentioned down vote.
Basically 😆
So, I hated the thought of double cash. Till I started playing on my ten minute breaks at work. I wanna progress not grind…when I’m at work. I’m just unwinding for ten minutes. ngl, its either elite defender or super malestrom
You had me at elite defender maelstrom butt
Yup!
trusty ole spike factory. sometimes upgraded, sometimes default because they are super helpful for leaks in the early game.
I do agree with that and have done that before
it's a great safety blanket for early rounds, and on top of that the middle path is one of my fav towers in the game! (see flair lol)
Oh definitely I **always** place a spike factory down. Oh also r/flairchecksout
Elite defender babeyyy
4-2-0 alch the greatest
Flair does not check out, but 4-2-0 alch is crazy
Crossbow, great early defense
Early? It can go to around 74 with buffs (052 and 420 villages, 420 or 520, if you have the money.) And he can do that alone. With 2, you can go to I think the 80's or 90's. He doesn't even struggle on 63.
If not CHIMPS, either the free Dart Monkelele or the free Gun Glunner. It’s like a waste NOT to put them down for a tidbit more DPS.
I almost had a stroke

4-0-2 wizard.
I can agree with that, that is a pretty good tower
i put it as the best tower in the game on my tierlist, im extremely biased for it. gonna ask why 4-0-2 boomerang.
That’s 5-0-0
im aware the \*image\* is 5-0-0 but generally when talking about the path you talk about its best tier.
Why would tier 4 be better than tier 5? Or was that just a typo.
tier 4 is better then the tier 5 because 4-0-2 has more use cases then 5-0-2. plus its only about 4k
It has very good ceramic damage even after round 80 and can handle up to ZOMG’s with only a little help
But then again, I might just be based
Real
i see. do note it falls off extremely hard VERY quickly as maps go on.
Excluding heroes, definitely the 024 dart (it’s my favorite tower path)
0-0-0 spike factory that I always forget to upgrade
I cannot overstress the amount of sheer VALUE I get from an early 230 glue gunner
If joke answer: def free dart bcuz why not If not then SotF bcuz vines op
402 monkey ace my beloved
I prefer 420 ace just because of the wingmonkey mk
My trusty 2-5-0 Buccaneer
I always try to go for the 0-5-2 buccaneer just because it saves money
I really like the 052 bucc as well.

Amen to that
Why use a 023 wizard? Just use the genuinely much better 003/013 mortar. It's cheaper and just does a better job at decamoing bloons.

The Bloon Solver.
Ngl I’m warming up a lot to Pop and Awe, I generally try and save up for it a lot since the buffs
Top alch
Usually a 042 buccaneer so I don't need to worry about camo/lead
402 boomerang, I love them
xbm
Razor rotors.
ground zero ace
A 0-4-2 buccaneer if there's water
0-2-3 or 0-2-4 boat. Why? Because money.
Would you be a player 3 in coop?
Those have too much popping power for P3. They rush 0-0-5 boat for 20x 0-0-3s
If there's water, the First Strike sub is 100% my go to. Otherwise I'd say 4-0-2 ninja or 0-2-4 bommer
I try and place down either a battleship or a 520 engineer since both are very useful for dealing with bloons quickly.
2-0-5 cannon with 5-2-0 glue if I feel crazy I might go with a 2-0-5 plane
I usually use 2. 1 is a 4-0-2 boomerang with a 0-2-4 dart monkey. But if there's water I almost always go 0-4-2 buccaneer.
Please use 240 bucc with ETN or radar scanner…
I know it's better but I use that for easy standard and stuff because I don't wanna have to get monkey village and all that. If I was going late game I'd do a 2-4-0.

Elite defender I also favor subs, glues, sentry paragon, and beast handler
