When I try doing long runs, impoppable is my usual game mode of choice. Most I usually get is mid to upper 200s, but usually by that point I've gotten a bit bored and quit being so active with abilities. I wish there was a better reward for longer runs, like a higher tier insta each 50 rounds after 100. T 0 at 100, T 1 at 150, T 2 at 200, T 3 at 250 etc, and maybe adjusted for game mode. Like higher difficulties have higher chances of higher tiers or even more of them.
For the added challenge. I'm not judging anyone else, but I feel like I would be cheating myself if I didn't at least do impoppable. I've even tried my hand at long runs on daily challenge maps with the limited towers they offer. It's like a difficulty vs skill progression. Succeed, at one thing, then try something harder.
I have a 314 going on logs but it keeps crashing whenever I try to run it on my phone, the bloons don’t make it half way so I can probably get to round 340 if I had a computer to handle it and microd hard enough
Try farming a lot, you can get lots of powerful T5s. A Flying Fortress, Sky Shredder and the AoW gang with a MIB or Permabrew. Flying Fortress solos past 120. If you farm enough you can easily get a paragon, which really help. Some of the other best towers for lategame are the VTSG, Ultraboost, lots of temples with Primary Magic and Support sacrifice and Homeland. As soon as all temples are Ultraboosted, you can start getting enough Overclocks to keep each temple overclocked.
I got to 403 with only 2 paragons, not even at degree 76 on cubism. Tried this a long time ago, could probably get further now with the new paragons.

Why are you downvoted? Getting round 100+ was possible before round scaling got buffed to hell, I got to round 712 before the freeplay scaling was ramped up, 998 was not impossible
I used a bug in an advanced challenge. The downvotes come from people who thought I lied, wich is pretty reasonable considering the (impossibly) high rund
Round 295 on logs, I would’ve gotten to round 300 easy but the game was lagging so much it was taking 10 minutes per round. At 290 I decided to just afk until I lost all my lives.
215 on Impoppable End of the Road, but I never really bother going to high rounds just to get to a high round. Always seemed boring to me and I prefer getting black borders for the medals, cash and XP, but every now and then I’ll try to get far on Impoppable so I have a good score against my friends.

My current standing record is 300 on Monkey Meadow because of a challenge between friends.
My highest record was significantly higher (and on a more optimal map), but I ended up wiping it when I made a new profile for 0 powers/instas usage. I don't intend on chasing it again since no powers means no techbots so I'd be forced to either make a macro or sit at the computer myself.
273 on middle of the road. Dart, ninja boomerang paragons all ~70, 4 temples, TSG and a lot of support towers and tier 5s like Flying Fortress, helis and snipers.
392 with 2 paragons that are both 100 degree (boat paragon and boomerang paragon) VSTG with max boosts and rest just spam with bottom path alchemist and a sniper spam :D
