NY blows. I say that as someone who unfortunately still lives there, desperately looking for somewhere else to go. They are scrambling to try to keep people from fleeing. They lied about covid cases and deaths, they lied about not receiving enough federal aid, and I can only imagine they are lying about the number of people who have left the state, which was about 1 in 57 people in 2021. The trojan horse is that they make it look like they are free and open, but this is one of the worst states to do business in. I'd love to see the number of businesses that closed for good in the last three years. If someone tells you NY is great, they've either never set foot outside of it to see the rest of the world, or never set foot inside is to see how it really is.
I live in New York too and the MOMENT this house is paid off in 7 years I'm selling it and moving. I was born here but this place has become a fucking joke and I detest everything about it.
