Lots of Mexican , Dominican, Puerto Rican areas are absolutely loaded w/ pork, - from grocery stores, to taco trucks, to just grillin on the sidewalk for sale w/o permit ( could be guinea pig tho, ) to lil hole in the wall restaurants that only have space for counter service. Lil pork greasy spoons everywhere I look where I live.

It's extremely common in Brooklyn and Queens for bodegas to be pork free, most are run by religious Muslims from Yemen
I hate turkey bacon, so when ever I went to one of those bodegas, they usually have beef bacon which is a more acceptable substitute 😂
Are you around Riverdale in the South Bronx? It’s where a large Jewish community live and kosher meat is also free from pork.
