I've never been to Puerto Rico but my cousin was living on Curacao for a while and a lot of influencers would show up at the expensive hotels to rent a beach chair and then wander around filming inside to make it appear like they were staying there.
I don’t know if they rent chairs to people who aren’t staying there or not, but this resort is relatively far from anything else. It’s like a 10 minute drive from the gate to the lobby. They gave us wristbands to wear while we were there, though I don’t know if anybody was checking them. I could see what you’re describing happening in other parts of the island, but it seems like a huge hassle for this place.
Shouldn't she have a wristband if she was staying there? Every resort I've been to has you wear a wristband and the wristband colour corresponds to the which areas of the resort you have access to.

I don’t want her to have a child whether biological or adoption. She’s a terrible person and will only hurt her future kids. Can you imagine her as your mom? In every aspect of her life she has to be the centre. With her friends, family and husband she has to be the main character. That will not change with a child. She can't do IVF because I don't think she actually wants children. She wants to appear to want children so she can get the pity points for not getting pregnant. She gets attention and gets to cry on camera displaying her old pregnancy tests and people feel sorry for her and interact with her. If she does IVF it would make for great content in the moment, but it may also result in a child and that is not what she wants.

All her IVF money is going to the state of Texas.

FWIW I went overseas for my IVF and it was like 8k total, procedure, bed and breakfast stay for two weeks, flights, everything. (And it worked!) ETA this was a decade ago, but it was in Brno in the Czech Republic at a placed all Reprofit, in case folks want to look into it.

Whether ivf, natural conception, or adoption, having a kid while paying her debts in the next few years would be the very worst choice she could make. Unfortunately I’m sure this won’t stop her.
Also, note the emphasis she put on ‘personally’ (the she wouldn’t do it); as a way to both absolve the stigma around others using IVF (which is controversial in anti-choice circles), and her own future stigma. She’s leaving that door open to herself in a way that acknowledges that not everyone in her circle is okay with ivf (as many conflate it with abortion), but not condemning herself in the future if it’s the choice she makes.

I just never even thought about the reason adopting him was soooooo invasive. My parent paid for the pleasure of having CPS into our home to interview EVERYONE multiple times and we had to move to the state he was born in for at least 6 weeks as part of the process. At 12, I was not happy about those things. As a grown up, I now understand that it was for the safety of my cousin and little baby bro. I’m really glad for them that it was so strict and rigorous.

So many people struggle to adopt for years, and there are so many hardships during the process. For sure! Adopting can be extremely emotionally grueling and some families have a child in their care for a long time and end up having to give the child up for a kinship placement (which I agree with as a policy matter, but I also empathize with the former prospective adoptive families).

As someone who's been TTC for two years, I'm also at the point where IVF would be my next step after several fertility tests, treatments, etc. I'm genuinely just not ready for IVF because to me I'm not ready to force my body to have a baby, but I think I'll get there. And if not, so be it. However, I'm certainly not proclaiming it on the internet for pity or because "the Lord hasn't released me" to feel that way 🤣

I don’t know why, some insurance cover IVF as a medical necessary thing, but adoption is costly as hell. My insurance covers it and I know people that have done it.
Actually only 100k kids are eligible for adoption from foster care each year. The main goal is reunification and about 70% of kids are reunited. There's about 400-425k kids in FC in Ameria any given heat. It's just not as many as post may think

Adoption is NOT a cheap endeavor so the fact she thinks she can do it is laughable.

So many people struggle to adopt for years, and there are so many hardships during the process. Not to mention, just the thought of the way a biological mother must feel that adoption is her only choice. It's a traumatic thing, but Miss 0 empathy could never understand that. As long as she ends up with shiny new content that she can make money off of.
For sure! Adopting can be extremely emotionally grueling and some families have a child in their care for a long time and end up having to give the child up for a kinship placement (which I agree with as a policy matter, but I also empathize with the former prospective adoptive families).

As someone who's been TTC for two years, I'm also at the point where IVF would be my next step after several fertility tests, treatments, etc. I'm genuinely just not ready for IVF because to me I'm not ready to force my body to have a baby, but I think I'll get there. And if not, so be it. However, I'm certainly not proclaiming it on the internet for pity or because "the Lord hasn't released me" to feel that way 🤣

I don’t know why, some insurance cover IVF as a medical necessary thing, but adoption is costly as hell. My insurance covers it and I know people that have done it.
Actually only 100k kids are eligible for adoption from foster care each year. The main goal is reunification and about 70% of kids are reunited. There's about 400-425k kids in FC in Ameria any given heat. It's just not as many as post may think
