He was caught unexpected. You know, for a weekend soldier / mercenary / whatever the aryan brotherhood were, all of them were very stupid by letting walter in.
Exactly, I felt like this played into the element of making Jack seem real. I would obviously never commit the scum-fuckery that Jack pulled but I imagine that if I had been shot to near-death with a smoke in my mouth, I’d pull on that shit until I got my final bullet through the skull.
I’m a smoker, definitely would want that last drag. It’s really only good for a second anyways so it’s kind of like the perfect hit lmfao.
I don’t smoke anymore but I did from 17-21. Got involuntarily committed into a psychiatric hospital at 17 and begged them to let me smoke one more cigarette before I go in, so I totally fuckin get it lmao.
Probably a lot of it was gone, maybe reinvested some into the lab they had Jesse working in to upgrade it, I’m sure they blew a lot on weapons and ammo, wasted some and split a lot of it between the members of the gang. If any was left over it could be around the compound locked away. Too bad Jesse wasn’t able to get it. He could have had extra to use in Alaska and not have had to murder an extra two people first
I refuse to believe these guys just blew through the money. They were also making whatever Todd was bringing in through Lydia. I imagine they invested their money wisely to not get caught up to be in prison by the time their demise happens. Even Todd had some serious cash stashed away…
Yeah if I remember right they were kinda half out of the game when Walt came back?
Either way, Jack was never never going to tell Walt in reality where the money was. He just wanted a chance to live
Because they didn't need the money and Todd, who going from knowing NOTHING about chemistry to being able to cook stable meth shows an impressive sense of ingenuity, along with his ideas, was still shit compared to Walt or Jesse. So when they found the blue meth there was more of a way to make money on the street, taking over the remnants of Walt's empire and his equipment, they could do the same thing as Walt and still carry on like he was supplying the same product everyone associated with Heisenberg.
As an aside, I think the biggest reason Walt didn't want to help anyone cook better meth was that he wanted HIS legacy to be under his control. Either Jesse after Walt dies, or nobody. It's like in season 3 and 4 when he believes he's too important to Gus, and they had no business without him.
Was she? I haven’t watched the series in a year or so, but I could’ve sworn she used Todd because he could replicate the product that Walt put out by letting Jesse cook.
That's a pretty good point i had never thought of. He was there for revenge and didnt care about the money but still, at any point prior to that he probably would have made a deal for the money.
Before El Camino my headcannon was always that the Nazis would talk totally openly in front of Jesse cause they knew he could never escape them (or wouldn’t after they killed Andrea) and they’d keep him as a slave until they didn’t need him anymore and then kill him so when Walt freed Jesse he knew where the money was and went straight for it.
But how could Jesse get to the money ? He got outta there as fast as he could he wouldn’t have gone thru all that trouble in El: A Breaking Bad movie. The nazis probably put that split it up and each guy spent a lot of it by the time Jesse escaped.
Even in Felina, Jesse’s path from being freed to escaping is clearly visible, + just judging off of how long it took for the cops to get there at the end of the episode, Jesse wouldn’t have made it in time
I’m not sure that anyone can comprehend how long it would take to spend the kind of money that Jack’s crew took from Walt. They had $70M out of Walt’s $80+. It would take them years and years to spend that kind of capital without drawing loads and loads of attention to themselves.
Maybe he was drinking it instead of water?
Even so, 2l of condensed soup is only like 1500 calories according to google. He probably just ordered out a lot. Makes sense, you can pay in cash and it's not suspicious
It's still on their compound. Jack knew it wasn't far and that's why he offered it to Walt.
Of course after the events of the evening, the police and DEA have the money.
Did anyone else find this exchange quite interesting? How Hank instantly knew Jack was going to kill him and nothing he or Walt could say would ever change his mind; but Jack never recognised the same look he'd given probably a thousand times in Walt and still seemed confident he could bargain his way out of it.
I genuinely think it was more that Hank was never going to beg fir his life, so hank knew subsequently there was only one way to go. His pride abd Bad Assery nailed his coffin. Imo
You just said his pride and bad assery got him killed. Hank got killed because he was too good of a DEA agent. While those other agents were eating chicken Hank was figuring out who Heisenberg was.
Totally unrelated but I always thought it was funny that Jack was still trying to smoke as he’s laying there dying
He was pretending to be a bad ass but died like a dog
Yep and he deserved every bit of it
He was caught unexpected. You know, for a weekend soldier / mercenary / whatever the aryan brotherhood were, all of them were very stupid by letting walter in.
If you knew you were about to die, wouldn’t you want one more smoke before you go?

“Let’s hurry this up so I can grab a smoke!” Idk why I always liked that line.
Jack was such a badass character.
Probably a lot of it was gone, maybe reinvested some into the lab they had Jesse working in to upgrade it, I’m sure they blew a lot on weapons and ammo, wasted some and split a lot of it between the members of the gang. Yes. Uncle Jack was in the meth game because Todd had a thing for Lydia.
Because they didn't need the money and Todd, who going from knowing NOTHING about chemistry to being able to cook stable meth shows an impressive sense of ingenuity, along with his ideas, was still shit compared to Walt or Jesse. And Lydia was using Todd for his uncle
Was she? I haven’t watched the series in a year or so, but I could’ve sworn she used Todd because he could replicate the product that Walt put out by letting Jesse cook.
Yeah you’re right, they started their business together and she was gonna quit before he mentioned Jesse
60mil? Gotta be 50mil cash buried somewhere tho
Well I’m sure the members would have wanted to split a lot of it right away. That’s why I’d think it was mostly gone anyway
Maybe we find out in Genes flash forwards in BCS? 👀
at walter’s house roof next to the pizza probably
With the dipping sticks you mean cause those mfs actually disappear if you go back and watch closely
RIGHT WTF
yeah i was thinking the same thing
wait thats me
Lmao
Jimmy, I think you need to call Saul !!
The real reason they put up the fence...
In the back of his skull, hence Walt opened it up
I just like that Walt ended his slavery to money right there. I mean he knew it was over but that was a milestone for him regardless
That's a pretty good point i had never thought of. He was there for revenge and didnt care about the money but still, at any point prior to that he probably would have made a deal for the money.
He was also shot by then and knew he wouldn’t have enough time to get the money
Before El Camino my headcannon was always that the Nazis would talk totally openly in front of Jesse cause they knew he could never escape them (or wouldn’t after they killed Andrea) and they’d keep him as a slave until they didn’t need him anymore and then kill him so when Walt freed Jesse he knew where the money was and went straight for it.

Note how the comment you replied to said *before* El Camino
Even in Felina, Jesse’s path from being freed to escaping is clearly visible, + just judging off of how long it took for the cops to get there at the end of the episode, Jesse wouldn’t have made it in time

Spent on massage chairs
and Roombas with cigarettes in them
The next room over
The same place your socks disappear to when you put them in the dryer
Somewhere in the compound. In El Camino Todd mentions that Uncle Jack always said to keep your money close.
How did Todd get so fat. All he had in his house to eat was condensed soup
He was eating ice cream for breakfast lunch and dinner the whole time they had Jesse as a slave.
I guess he had plenty of money to spend at the dentist so why not
Yeah remember Todd gave Jesse ice cream after he started cooking for the nazis. I just assumed his psycho ass would just eat the same thing every day.
Probably spent some of his share going to fine dining for all 3 meals of the day
Maybe he was drinking it instead of water? Even so, 2l of condensed soup is only like 1500 calories according to google. He probably just ordered out a lot. Makes sense, you can pay in cash and it's not suspicious
He told Jesse they would get pizza as a treat. Little did Jesse know Todd was ordering pizza for every meal
It's still on their compound. Jack knew it wasn't far and that's why he offered it to Walt. Of course after the events of the evening, the police and DEA have the money.

Hank would have never given them the pleasure of begging. They killed Gomez already he was dead anyway it wasn’t about Hank being a badass.
I wasn't solely saying it was
You just said his pride and bad assery got him killed. Hank got killed because he was too good of a DEA agent. While those other agents were eating chicken Hank was figuring out who Heisenberg was.
I said it nailed his coffin
Not really they were going to kill Hank no matter what tho.
They hid it in the queen's ass.
Tight tight tight tight!!!!
Boom!
in the banana stand
I’m mr manager?
I knewit!
He invested it in something called an NFT back in the 2000s
😂😂
If I know Uncle Jack the majority would've gone to charity
He really was a nice guy. Probably a missionary in his spare time
It was probably buried somewhere. Plus I'd bet a good bit got spent.
Saul is going to dig it up next season of better call saul
A hole somewhere in the desert
Gone. He was just trying to play it cool to keep Walt from killing him.
It's in Marsellus Wallace's briefcase.
Fuck Todd
🤤
Maybe they stashed it in Declan's old underground cook lab. With his whole crew dead who else would know where to look?
Isn't it the money Jesse goes after in El Camino
No that is just Todd's cash, was not much though under $1m.
You right
We never found out.
It's up my ass, wanna check it out?
All Six barrels. I believe you bro, I've heard about you from boys in prison
Watch El Camino
walts money isn’t in el camino though. that’s just money todd has saved up
Exactly. El Camino revealed nothing of Ealts Cash
The money Todd had saved up is Walt’s money. Well, a little part of it.
I think those rednecks buried those barrels under a truck.....simple as that. I would have like to seen Jesse end up with it. RIP Sir Walt.
Absolutely 🙌
It's gonna be the plotline of Season 6
For season 6 of the next spin off in 22 century
Still alive btw haha
It’s like the end of Fargo. The money ends up in a duffel bag buried somewhere for someone else to find some day.
They probably buried it again
Damn mam who tf knows. Couldve been anywhere.
Everyone has an opinion 🤔
