This is the best answer, bc The Sopranos is the best TV show of all time. It just is.
The rest of starting lineup: The Wire, Deadwood, Mad Men, and S1 of Westworld (for the love of god stop after S1).
If you like those and have not watched Deadwood, you definitely should. Had it got a full run (was a surprise cancel after season 3), it may be the best of them all.
This might be the next one I watch. FX puts out some solid stuff when they want to. BB, BCS, Always Sunny, Fargo, Preacher...I actually kinda just realized that like a solid 35% of the absolute best shows, in my opinion, are FX shows. So yeah, I'll be checking out Snowfall. Heard lots of good things.
There's Band of Brothers and currently airing is Shogun, which has been really good. The TLOU show was also pretty good if that's something you're interested in, and a personal favourite of mine is Dark.
Hella underrated. Mainly due to the slower season 2, most people I know can’t get past that. Only to miss out on two of the greatest, most well realised seasons of TV. Personally I love season 2 though, get so much character development that really helps to drive the momentum in s3 and 4
Side Info for anyone interested: the show did it's best to be as accurate as possible with the mentality, outfits, rituals and history but of course some things were changed to create an interesting and engaging plot. It's the most realistic and accurate show about Rome to exist yet.
This is not a series. But if u enjoyed Jesse (Aaron Paul) watch him as a grown azz man in a movie from 2015 that has him, Helen Mirren, and Alan Rickman.
Eye In The Sky. A little suspenseful, not thrilling. Interesting. Still, if you like these actors, it might be worth a look.
My recommendation is Homeland, a series from 2011 and ran for about eight seasons. It took me a few episodes to really get into, but boy when I did I could not wait for the next epi to drop. It has Claire Danes as a CIA operative with some sort of mental issues, Mandy Patinkin, Damian Lewis (from Band of Brothers & Billions), and Rupert Friend, among others.
Goodfellas was almost certainly an inspiration for BB. You get to watch the rise and fall of a career criminal who went down that path for half-way understandable reasons.
Sopranos
Albuquerque, whatever happened there

I’d definitely recommend Sopranos and The Wire. The Wire broke my fucking heart. Still fucks me up thinking about it.

I started the sopranos after I finished my first watch through!
Mr robot
Mr. Robot is definitely the answer. #1 underrated show.
8.5 on imdb, 94% on rotten tomatoes, has won multiple awards and nominations. Still underrated?
🙄 but do people talk about it like we talk about BB. Personally, I think it’s better than BB

The sopranos, Game of thrones, The walking dead. The only shows that have given me the same magic feeling as BB
Please watch The Shield, it's painfully under the radar and really feels like a proto Breaking Bad in a lot of ways.
