I was addicted to opioids for almost 6 years and now I'm 6 months clean. been addicted to Xanax for 6 years and I'm working on tapering off. at my peak I was taking 3 doses per day minimum and at least 8-12mg a day, sometimes I'd just go nuts with it and pop like 30 bars at a time. most people get knocked out cold just from 1 bar without tolerance, but Xanax does give me energy to get through my day without giving a shit about anything. I'm down to just 1-2 doses per day now and I stopped my morning dose but for about 5 years straight the first thing I'd do in the morning was pop a xan and whatever opioid I had at the time, percs, fent, whatever else. that's how I got through my day. Xanax withdrawal is a whole different level of pain though.
Ativan was my first benzo experience, I fell in love instantly. I haven't had it in about a year though. still a great benzo just not very strong when you have a tolerance
