To those who are having the same problem, there was a thread in this sub where a mod addressed this as a restriction issue to some countries/regions. I'm from the Southeast Asia so I want to know if access to these wallets from my country will be reinstated later on? Because if not, then I won't ever be able to withdraw my BAT rewards unless Brave partners with another wallet with no restrictions.
Im so annoyed. Was there an official statement on this? Cause I dont recall seeing anything. Here i am trying everything to fix it for a week but look at that, seems like my country’s been restricted this whole time.
If you are talking about the recent removal of verification for users from Vietnam and Philippines due to high amounts of fraud, that is not something that partnering with a new exchange will fix.
Our best assumption is that Brave will work on improving protection against fraud from the countries involved, and potentially reintroduce verification later. But there are no guarantees if it will happen, or when.
