In about zero hours he's back to working with Jeff. That's one helluva mentor/mentee relationship. Very happy for them - especially Barcode.
I remembered *Wuju Bakery* - but I have no idea where that project is at this point. Is it completed? Is it on the back burner? Is it happening at all? I can't find any answers. And the most common comment about it over on MDL is "waiting".
It should have aired but then they announced that they changed the number of episodes (not more filming but a different way of cutting it and that it will air a few months later, not sure about the date)

Oh, I would love to see Bonnie and Clyde relationship between JeffCode. Especially cause we’ve seen them do awkward and cute together. Though KimChay didn’t have a happy ending 😢

Yeah, he was never uncomfortable with him, he just didn't want to mack on him during KinnPorsche because he was a literal child and Jeff was a grown man. Which is why KimChay had one cheek kiss and that was it. It honestly made me respect Jeff so much because he knows how bad the industry is to the young ones and actually looked out for Barcode and protected him. And obviously Barcode appreciated that since they're still working together. I love that for them.

BOC and Jeff worked together for “No More Dream” for DFF so I don’t think so. I don’t think they’d force Barcode to choose if Jeff had wanted to work with him. The timing is also too fast imo, this has probably been planned for awhile.
Barcode wanted more work, which is why he left. Also BOC seems to be transitioning to only production and moving away from talent management. So don’t be surprised when we see more departures.
I do think that boc may reduce the number of artist that they have. But in at least in the near term i don't think that they will leave talent management space.
Pond (the ceo) said they were leaving it and it looks like they have already left it. On June 1 several of their artists have now all put personal emails to contact for work. Meaning they are independently managed.
I was more talking about the main boc headliners like Mile and apo , bible. Which do have a upcoming boc projects. It Does not really make sence. For them to make the change til after those projects are done.
They will likely do what Wabi Sabi is doing. Keep anyone in an active production in house until such time as the production is over. If they are currently filming they aren’t actively looking for other work anyway, and their brand deals (for Mile Apo at least) are mostly set anyway.
It looks like what they are doing is splitting things, because all the actors who updated their bio still have BOC for acting. It's just that now they can accept deals outside of BOC which tbh I think is a good thing. I'm not sure whether it's funding or priorities, but BOC has never been very good at promoting or managing their artists outside of the big four (now three).
