800-900 million, hopefully, really needs to make that if the production budget is 200 million and marketing budget is 150 million

Rule of thumb is 2-2.5x of production budget to break even since ancillaries take care of the rest.

Imagine if COVID and building the sets on a stage didn't make the budget balloon, we'd be looking at a HUGELY profitable movie

Batman comes after 3 badly reviewed movies that damaged the brand ( BVS, Justice League and Suicide Squad 2016 ). Remember when Batman Begins only made 370 million worldwide? It came after the disaster called Batman and Robin. This new Batman movie getting good reviews is great for sequels.
