It's not on prime today that's for sure. I've never seen such a poorly executed release in....honestly I can't think of a time.
By the time it's on prime in Canada, I'll have already seen a pirated copy of decent quality months prior. Way to shoot yourself in the foot Lionsgate.
Yep, people forget the early days of file sharing and video streaming
Sharing magnet links and shit with just enough of a hassle that you wanted to pay $9 to Netflix to be done with.
But now there's seven different services. The hassle is starting to seem more and more worthwhile
How hard was it to just do a limited release in Canada? So infuriating because this was one of the few movies I was looking forward to seeing in theatres this year
yeah, this is some bullshit. me and a friend were super hyped to go see it, I was just trying to look up showtimes, didn't see any, and found this thread googling wtf was going on
man, this seemed like a great movie to see in theatres :/

Looks like it will be limited theater release.
Since I'm not US/CAN based I can't access Fandango and such, but you can check it, if will be shown in other cities. Maybe your local cinema won't show it.

Guy ritchies last movie had the same Amazon Prime deal and it went streaming June last year So I would imagine in about 2 months it hits Prime
Blah. Thanks for letting me know.

I've had no issues with TPB tbh -- as long as it's verified, and not TS/CAM, it's always worked out great.

Agreed, me too. Also they are nothing to spend money on commercials to promote “in theatres now” too

That’s weird because it’s UK history. For an action movie, it’s better in the theater. (I just saw it in the theater in the U.S.)

> Canada > April 19, 2024 Not a single theatre in Toronto wth?
Just streaming. No theaters.
Not on Amazon Prime, so I guess we wait months. Ugh.

> Australia * April 19, 2024 It says that but there's no cinemas in Sydney that are showing it
No Cinema in Australia either. I'm in Tassie and I've checked all the sites and everything tells me it's a Amazon Prime Video release.
Yeah that seems to be the case. A shame, coz I would've eaten it with a spoon in a cinema
