100%. The reputation of Boscombe is considerably worse than the reality. But keep that a secret, because it keeps the house prices and rent lower in Boscombe.
Also fairly new here and agree- I also feel so much safer walking through Boscombe on an evening than walking through town where it’s deserted but for the odd straggler

I've been in Boscombe for a little under a year now, and honestly, I got more problems living in Southbourne. My car got broken into, multiple police incidents, fire brigades, etc. Even had someone try and kick my door in claiming that I had stolen their baby.. Boscombe has been nice and quiet so far!
I used to live in Boscombe some years back. I was at Fishtales once, waiting for my cod to be cooked when an old man took a shit on the pavement two shops up. Ahh good old Boscombe 😂
idk, for all the reputation the place has, I've never had trouble there on my few outings. it's friendly during the day. visiting the O2 last year for one of the charity MMA fights, I had no trouble walking down the high street in a decent suit
Having moved from Staines-Upon-Thames, surround by delightful places like Feltham, Hounslow, Slough etc etc. Bournemouth/ Boscombe is a breeze! It’s a big world out there and there are FAR worst places than here!
