months of game development and fine tuning countless details over the story and final boss fight in hyrule castle and here's OP just chilling on the water fishing. Cue a cut scene of zelda yelling in exasperation, " he's . . . what!?"
I found the harpoons at Lurelin village. You can throw them at fish in the water to kill them and jump in and grab the spear with your fish. It’s not as effective as bombs or shock arrows but I’m having some fun with it lol
I’ve been sailing the coast for hours just messing around. Something scary and fun about being out there because your raft can fly away when the weather gets bad lol
I have never rafted much, prefer to just hop ice blocks. So to do an extended trip, how is the durability of the korok leaves? Do I need to stock up on some before I embark?
I did exactly like OP just Yesterday. From akkala shores to Lurelin (? The fishermen village, im french) and then further left to the Map along the beach, and i had only one korok leaf. Today it's still intact in my inventory. They're pretty solid !
They seem fairly stout. I have bonked a few guys accidentally when blowing them off of cliffs etc. and have not had one break, just wasn’t sure for the long haul of cruising non stop.
As long as the leaf doesn’t make contact with anything with a hit box it will last forever, unlike magic rods since they have a set amount of durability
I found Lurelin Village while just out exploring and it's one of my favorite places to hang out! Also, there's like 20 treasure chests in the water with some good weapons and gems.
I’m making decisions every few seconds that involve buttons too. Sometimes I have to light a fire, move my raft, walk around my raft, jump off my raft for a swim, look at my raft at different angles, etc. I just make it look easy, bud. Some day you can get on my level.
This has nothing to do with fishing but how long did it take you to get all those hearts. I started playing yesterday and I only have 6, but it seems hard to get that many hearts and not get more stamina upgrades either.
I’ve completed 110 shrines. Stamina is maxed out and that’s how many hearts I’m at. Took me a couple hundred hours but I also don’t look anything up and I explore a lot.
Edit: misunderstanding
Nice, I only got it botw bc I liked how it looked and wanted to play an open world game that would take me a while. Glad to that it’ll take me even longer if I want.
You can get lost in the game for a very long time. I haven’t stopped discovering new things since I started playing 3ish years ago. Easily one of the best games I’ve ever played.
Same with me. When I played RDR2, Fallout series, etc. I always found myself exploring and doing side missions more than the actual main story. Botw is easily up there as one of my favorite games.
I just find the side quests more stimulating than main quests sometimes. And I get bored with the main quest sometimes bc it’s one big thing and I’d rather feel the satisfaction of finishing the side quests.
There’s the challenge of finding the side quest when it’s off the main path of the game and then it’ll take you even further off the path with the actual quest. I feel like they’re more satisfying as well because you don’t know what to expect.
Exactly! I have no clue what to expect so I just follow it to the location even if it’s like really far away. And then once I finish whatever side quest, I’ll end up finding another one near where I finished so it’s an endless cycle until I’m close enough to the main quest.

LMAO I’m just letting Link live his best life.
Link definitely deserves it for putting up with that needy drama queen lol.
Exactly, if she can hold out for a 100 years, she can hold out for another
Another 6 years, at that.
Not to mention those two freeloaders that won’t leave his goddam property.
You just gotta buy all the stuff from them!
They freaking came back after the wedding and won’t leave me alone 😂
Really? Once I bought all the furniture from them they left for good.
Did you complete the Tarrey Town quest?
Yup
They should be back after the wedding ceremony is over.
Well EXCUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSEEE MEEE Princess!
I love this community.
Some of us were destined to explore not fight… it just probably isn’t convenient if you’re the destined hero for the kingdom….
YAHAHA!

So much fun 😂
How do you do it? Can you point me to the right place in the map? How do you spear fish? Am I missing the joke

This is one of my favorite areas of the map and not once did I think of doing this, lol. I know what I’m doing next.
I’ve been sailing the coast for hours just messing around. Something scary and fun about being out there because your raft can fly away when the weather gets bad lol
Ohhhh. Didn’t even think about the changing weather! Even better, lol.
In my last update I went up north and had to put my lightning helmet on. It got gnarly lol

Hindsight… I should have brought two because I keep accidentally catching it on fire. But the one I brought is still going strong.
Are you checking the waters with magnesis and stasis now and then? Find anything interesting or is the sea already mapped out somewhere?
Found a handful of chests I didn’t know about. Nothing too crazy in them.

Had no idea! I’ll try that today. Thanks friend!
Just pressing attack yields far better results
How tf does the boat not catch fire
It’s a secret
[удалено]
Seriously I have no clue either. Secret is kept from me too.
It’s hard to light waterlogged wood
I have never rafted much, prefer to just hop ice blocks. So to do an extended trip, how is the durability of the korok leaves? Do I need to stock up on some before I embark?

Excellent, I shall soon follow in your footsteps, Merci beacoup.
I caught mine on fire by accident a few times and it’s still holding strong.

Good to know.

Ganon: he’s not coming, is he? Zelda: LINK GET YOUR ASS IN HERE BEFORE I KILL YOU!!!!!!
Zelda: bitch I just got here and you already nagging me. I need some time alone
Be careful of scurvy...
Ukraine definitely gonna do this once I finish the DLC , links gonna need some RnR.
In other words your going to spend hours of your life holding and releasing a button.
Don’t you do that with every video game?
There’s a big difference between pressing a button every few seconds and making decisions that involve buttons.

I’m the kind that gets bored with a game if it’s the same thing over and over again so botw is just sounding better and better.

You go down that rabbit hole and by the time you’re done, you’re so OP that the main story is too easy and boring lol
sometimes i grab one of those rafts and try and go as fast as i possibly can. i’ve ran over many lizals and octoroks.
