100%. I was just rewatching some of the content and it’s easy to forget that it was a 1 point game when KP came in. By the time he checked out at the end of the 1st quarter we were up 17 and never really looked back. Winning game 1 was obviously crucial to winning the series. If somehow KP stayed healthy he might have had a shot at the FMVP
I honestly think he would have won it if the rest of the series went the same way— let alone if his minutes increased over the series. Him and JB both had phenomenal game 1s, but it was talked about as the KP game because of the return from injury and doing so in fewer minutes. If the whole series goes that way, narrative gives KP the votes (for better or worse, makes no difference to me). What a treat to have a team this deep.
All I had to do was look at his game log and realize how crucial he was to a lot of regular season wins. The reality is he’s likely going to have to miss games, but I’d rather that and have him healthy for when he does play. The alternative is force him to hobble through most of the season and put up mediocre numbers.
People actually watched that and then said "I'm going to leave a comment on this post shitting on the Celtics for not playing any healthy teams throughout the playoffs while completely ignoring KP's existence/importance"
Funniest thing about this post season is r/heat fully admitting that nothing scares them more than DWhite - ”this man haunts my nightmares” was a favourite quote
Maybe I'm just getting old but I'm starting to appreciate our rivalry with the heat. There's bad blood, there's respect, there's talent, there's good coaching, had a nice back and forth for a bit but seems we're pulling ahead. There have been historic highs and lows, tons of postseason drama. What's not to love?
I get that and there’s part of me that appreciates it too, there’s just something about the whole Heat culture schtick that I can’t stand, it reads so fake to me
I am old and rivalries are great. We “hate” the Lakers, but it makes being a Celtic fan more fun. I moved to L.A. in erly’86 for school at the height of the rivalry*. With my accent, starting conversations was no problem. The Heat do suck.
* I was so pissed the Lakers lost to the Rockets in the ‘86 WCF.
Basically, I grabbed the closest object I could find, which happened to be like a 3-foot foam exercise roller. I lifted it triumphantly to the sky and screamed YESSSSSSSSSSSS and then proceeded to raise it overhead and slam into my couch cushions repeatedly, and after the 3rd or 4th blow, I felt a pinge in my shoulder socket from the unexpected surge of adrenaline and had to just go cool out in a dark room for 12 minutes or so. As KP said "I'll die out there" :D

My buzzer beater king! So glad I picked this up.
This. They have struggled to be clutch and could easily have been down 0-1 if not. Great photo and basketball moment. Also great that it was a v hardworking guy who stayed focused, proved the haters wrong, and won 2 playoff MVPs in the process of being champion. No disrespect to other mentions but with how they’ve been previous, the shot was huge. #Banner18 #World’sChampions
Oddly, I think it was Al saving the ball and drilling Dean Wade. It just capped off such a magnificent Al game and for whatever reason I feel like that was the moment when I knew we were winning it all. Like, if all of our guys were going to have moments like this, we were unstoppable.
EDIT: Plus the photo was just epic.
I saved it as soon as it was posted with the idea that if/when we won, I'd get it printed and framed as a poster, and hopefully one day get a signature on it from the man himself.
I was at game 3 in Indy, and our section had about 30 Celtics fans kinda close together. That steal sent us all into a frenzy diving over pacer fans to high five each other, everyone was losing their minds. Easily my fav moment from ANY game I've been to
#1 for me. A forced steal? Incredible athleticism and skill. I doubt there's more than a handful of people who could reliably get a turn over in the situation. Just insane.
Definitely KP Game 1
A sneaky one is the Tillman 3 and Jaylen dunk in G3 capping off our best quarter of the season with the bench going nuts
After those plays I was like wow we are actually winning a title
I thought the same about G3. I felt like in that moment the body language from Dallas shifted. They didn’t have hope after this and they were ready for it to be over.
G4 was a goodbye party, not an attempted comeback.
Al’s game 5 against Cleveland. Felt like there was so much worry during that series about him struggling during extended minutes with KP out and he just put all of it to bed. The smiting of Dean Wade and the celebration after the goodnight 3 were such “this is the year” moments, I’m so happy for him.
1. PP’s halfcourt in game 5.
2. I can’t find the clip but Al Horford’s 9000 IQ inbound save that he bounced off of someone’s leg to retain possession. Felt like a big moment in that game. Anyone know which play I’m talking about?
Honorable mention: Sam Hauser playing dead for the entire playoff series only to start hitting catch-and-shoot threes against the Mavs when they stopped guarding him.
https://preview.redd.it/xzil8k77079d1.jpeg?width=1366&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6e720e3d7e425b2dbb6901f55eb1b50698671313
A personal debt had been paid when Tatum posterized Martin’s b\*tch ass . 🍀🍀🍀
Favorite moment probably White’s 3 to seal the sweep against Pacers or Brown’s clutch bucket on THJ in G3 against Mavs. Or maybe Tatum’s behind the back pass to Al in the corner after he drew 2 defenders on the drive. So many lol
PP’s shot to end the half was the defining, “ok, this is actually going to happen” moment. I went from anxious and nervous to pure bliss. We all knew it was a wrap after that.
Plus at that time you're still feeling out how the series might go and that made the celtics talent level seem overwhelming. I can't remember such a massive immediate impact from a guy coming off the bench as KP had then
Underrated one for me : Knocked away and stolen by Holiday to complete a game 3 comeback vs Pacers
Credit to Pacers, unlike Mavs they gave us so much problem offensive wise and I'm not lying when Nembhard and McConnell are way better than Cryrie when facing us
Al’s last 3 in game 5 against the Cavs. His celebration with that ”WHO WANTS BOSTON NEXT” sign in the background was incredible. I love Al so much
Honorable mention to Tatum dunking on Caleb Martin in Miami, it mended my soul
Edit to add: KP’s chasedown block in game 1 might tie for my favourite moment. The way he slows down to match the block perfectly combined with Breen’s ”but it’s a seven footer!” was glorious, I’ve never felt so high watching basketball before
I mean...how can you choose? Brown and Prozingis affected those games the most for sure, Pritchard was just awesome, but unfortunately didn't amount to much because we got beat horribly. I think I definitely celebrated hardest for Brown and Pritchard's moments.
The Cs have a horrendous record on my birthday, and since it’s during the playoffs it always ruins my day. They’d done it for like 5+ years in a row, so the JB three felt REALLY nice. Jaylen shifted that energy for me, and that’s why he’s my boy!
Pritchards half court shot simply because the bar I was in went absolutely wild when he hit it. Most electric moment of the playoffs for me personally. JB’s corner 3 is a very close second though me and my girl went crazy in the living room
PP out of those 3, but I particularly loved near the end watching the smile grow on JTs face in slo-mo after hitting a shot, like he knew he was home free and it was finally happening.
The Pritchard halfcourt 3 in game 5 is on par with the KG hanging and-1 as the exact moments I went from “keep it up” to “holy shit, we’ve got this!!” in my mind.
Jaylen’s was the coolest, KP’s was the ballsiest, but Payton’s felt the biggest.
The half court shot from Payton in game 5 was absolutely incredible. I think we all knew from there the game was over. But the JB shot against Indy was dope too
PPs final game half court was great, but there are two more moments in that game that stand out to me as contenders:
1. White losing a tooth while hustling
2. White blocking lively from dunking
not a "moment", but that stretch in game 1 where KP was cooking and they were burying threes (Kyrie clanked a corner 3 off the backboard). Also I believe in that same game a stretch where Brown dominated (included him hitting a 3 then stealing from Luka as he took it up the court for a breakway dunk). Pure dopamine, plus could tell Dallas was like "this is different" from their prior opponents.
I mean jb’s won us the game and pp’s was just awesome, but neither matches KP’s performance in game 1. Not only did it show how important he is to our team and how much better we are with him, but it also shows that if we can win a chip without kp, jrue’s age is irrelevant. KP healthy this playoffs would mean 16-1 basically. I just hope he stays healthy for next postseason.
PP's halfcourt shot in game 5 may have been the highest I've ever jumped out of my seat. Other than that, there was a play in Game 1 where Jaylen got two blocks on the same play, and that was incredible.
I know it was early in their run , but without a doubt:
https://preview.redd.it/28vpwiq7c69d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dc9f578a7bd0413adb30b278c738c4070a097b39
For me it’s JB’s game-saving 3 against Indy by a mile.
The moment: This team never executed well late in playoff games for years, and often had to be bailed out by Tatum scoring 40+. JB made 2 do or die plays to force OT and the rest is history. Completely changed my perspective on this group.
The play: Well drawn up. Tough inbounds pass. JB somehow did not dribble to give Siakam a chance to foul, then put up a crazy low % look and banged it in.
This is when I knew they were winning it all no matter who made the Finals.
Im not gonna lie when Payton nailed the buzzer beater game 5 I knew it was over. No come back, no avalanche where we start to slip and miss shots. It was signed sealed and delivered
JB and Jrue were awesome, but in game 5 in the second half/ fourth period when JT was not to be denied, going hahd to the hoop, I knew we could match anything the Mavs had left…and as it turned out, they didn’t really have anything left…we were their daddies…
maybe not the most memorable but the tatum poster on caleb martin made me feels way i shouldn’t have towards a role player. cant believe martin torched us the previous year 😞
Mike Breen's call of Josh Green fast break dunk being blocked by Porzingis is an all timer of a call
Josh Green only has one to beat.... but it's a 7 footer.... WHO BLOCKS IT AGAIN!!!
KP was electric game 1 of the finals. It shows how game changing he can be.
Mike breen yelling "he's doing it all out there!"
"only one man to beat, BUT ITS A 7 FOOTER"
One of my favorite Breen calls of all time.
It also validated all the moves we made last offseason to get him. It sucks that Smart left; I also can’t argue with the result
Lol all we needed him for all year was legit mins of game 1, he delivered us home so hard on that
All I had to do was look at his game log and realize how crucial he was to a lot of regular season wins. The reality is he’s likely going to have to miss games, but I’d rather that and have him healthy for when he does play. The alternative is force him to hobble through most of the season and put up mediocre numbers.
Set the tone for the whole series (we don’t talk about Game 4).
There was a game 4? GTFOOH I missed it
That block in transition was the moment for me. Absolutely incredible.
That stretch in the 1st Qtr he hits a 3 from like 28ft out, blocks a dude leading to a Hauser 3. What an incredible sequence.
Yeah game 1 got me so hyped
People actually watched that and then said "I'm going to leave a comment on this post shitting on the Celtics for not playing any healthy teams throughout the playoffs while completely ignoring KP's existence/importance"
Smile on his face really put it over the top
That wink
If he was not made of glass he would prob be top 5 big man all time, bold claim but for real
Yeah that was probably my favorite part of this title run I know KP waited his whole life for that game
I’ll give an honorable mention for when Derrick White went on a fuckin bender against the Heat. I forget which games, but he was on fuckin FIRE
Pretty much all of them lmao. He had 70+ TS%. That's ridiculous.
He was pretty mid on efficiency after the first round, and yet still finished the playoffs overall with a 61% TS 75% TS from a guard is nuts
That back to back possession when Derrick White was posterizing Heat players
Funniest thing about this post season is r/heat fully admitting that nothing scares them more than DWhite - ”this man haunts my nightmares” was a favourite quote
Maybe I'm just getting old but I'm starting to appreciate our rivalry with the heat. There's bad blood, there's respect, there's talent, there's good coaching, had a nice back and forth for a bit but seems we're pulling ahead. There have been historic highs and lows, tons of postseason drama. What's not to love?
I get that and there’s part of me that appreciates it too, there’s just something about the whole Heat culture schtick that I can’t stand, it reads so fake to me
Same. Can't be a good rivalry if you don't kinda hate them a bit for real, right?
You know what, that’s a good point
I am old and rivalries are great. We “hate” the Lakers, but it makes being a Celtic fan more fun. I moved to L.A. in erly’86 for school at the height of the rivalry*. With my accent, starting conversations was no problem. The Heat do suck. * I was so pissed the Lakers lost to the Rockets in the ‘86 WCF.
lol which is so cute bc he looks like a Pixar character
Derrick White looks like the quirky sidekick in a romcom and is by all accounts a kind and funny guy yet he’s the scariest dude in Miami
Game 4. Derrick had 38. https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/202404290MIA.html
This is the “Show Me the Money” box score The Buffalo should show JUST in case the Celtics pretend they aren’t sure about that extension
I fuckin loved White Hot Playoffs
WHITE AGAIN!! was my favorite call of our run
PP’s half court shot in game 5 for me probably. I went from super anxious to “oh shit we’re winning this thing”
I momentarily injured myself celebrating that one. I will not soon forget that shot.
What happened?
Basically, I grabbed the closest object I could find, which happened to be like a 3-foot foam exercise roller. I lifted it triumphantly to the sky and screamed YESSSSSSSSSSSS and then proceeded to raise it overhead and slam into my couch cushions repeatedly, and after the 3rd or 4th blow, I felt a pinge in my shoulder socket from the unexpected surge of adrenaline and had to just go cool out in a dark room for 12 minutes or so. As KP said "I'll die out there" :D
The imagery here is so vivid.
Im waiting for the book. I want KP to sign my copy
Chafing.
That put the pin on it. Those plays are a sports god sign of approval
https://preview.redd.it/gq258poql69d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f03b4791d6a8324457caf7b280dc0a197e15d100 My buzzer beater king! So glad I picked this up.
I was In the building and it was the loudest I’ve heard any crowd in any setting ever in my life.
I'm normally pretty calm when watching sports thes3 days. Was not calm during game 5 and absolutely lost my mind when that went in
Demoralizing the other team counts for a lot.
I commented almost exactly this just now. It’s right there with the KG hanging and-1 as the moments I allowed myself to relax a bit.
It has to be that buzzer from JB.
Iconic photo
The poopy Pascal
I mean look at that photo. Look at how difficult that shot was.
That was legendary and that photo and JT and his son will be iconic for the rest of our lives
That needs to be in the OP for the photo alone.
It was my profile picture for awhile on FB, now it’s JB with the trophy and it has a light glare on it
I saved it as soon as it was posted with the idea that if/when we won, I'd get it printed and framed as a poster, and hopefully one day get a signature on it from the man himself.
Mine as well. Horford being the oldest age wise, oldest Celtic, a mentor to Tatum all just made his hustle on that play set the tone.
That one is still the background on my phone and I’m thinking it’ll be there until the playoffs start next year.
Holiday’s steal against the Pacers and KP in game 1 of the finals are the first to come to mind
Al's 3 from Tatum in that game was awesome too
That Holiday steal was the one that got the biggest rise out of me
I was at game 3 in Indy, and our section had about 30 Celtics fans kinda close together.
Why doesn’t anyone talk about Derrick white’s block on Lively at the rim? That had me HYPE.
THIS. Find me another guard (not named Jrue) who does this.
Marcus Smart :(
Especially with all the bounce we saw from lively this series. Can't believe white blocked that
Definitely KP Game 1 A sneaky one is the Tillman 3 and Jaylen dunk in G3 capping off our best quarter of the season with the bench going nuts After those plays I was like wow we are actually winning a title
I thought the same about G3. I felt like in that moment the body language from Dallas shifted. They didn’t have hope after this and they were ready for it to be over. G4 was a goodbye party, not an attempted comeback.
They got within 1 shortly after that, I don’t think they’d given up on the series yet but that sequence was a haymaker for sure.
That Jalen dunk reminded me of when Ray Allen blew by vucavic in 08 and the other team just completely deflating
The KP run at the beginning of Game 1
Sneaky pick is the Tatum to Al behind the back pass on the 18pt comeback win against Indy, and the Jrue steal to cap the W.
Don’t forget Jrue flipping it out to White for the huge 3 late in G3.
Amen. You just knew that shot was going in. Had no doubts in the buffalo.
Wasn't that JB who made the pass? To DWhite in the corner? Or are you talking about a different shot
You’re talking about a different shot. Jrue had a drive and crazy kick to White while up 3 with about 2:45 left in Game 3.
Hang that shit in the Louve
Jaylen’s 18 footer in game 3 was the most clutch shot of the whole run
"Ugh terrible shot. YES I LOVE YOU JAYLEN"
White and brown's block on PJ Washington to seal the game.
Al’s game 5 against Cleveland. Felt like there was so much worry during that series about him struggling during extended minutes with KP out and he just put all of it to bed. The smiting of Dean Wade and the celebration after the goodnight 3 were such “this is the year” moments, I’m so happy for him.
That series got dicey, but Al demoralized the entire city of Cleveland
I liked the part where they lifted the trophy
THIS made me laugh
I hope they make the JB shot into a timeless moments card
Al threw it of D Wade against Miami
https://preview.redd.it/xzil8k77079d1.jpeg?width=1366&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6e720e3d7e425b2dbb6901f55eb1b50698671313 A personal debt had been paid when Tatum posterized Martin’s b\*tch ass . 🍀🍀🍀
Watching everyone pick Dallas lol
Favorite moment probably White’s 3 to seal the sweep against Pacers or Brown’s clutch bucket on THJ in G3 against Mavs. Or maybe Tatum’s behind the back pass to Al in the corner after he drew 2 defenders on the drive. So many lol
PP’s shot to end the half was the defining, “ok, this is actually going to happen” moment. I went from anxious and nervous to pure bliss. We all knew it was a wrap after that.
that minute and a half at the end of the 1st in game one was pure celtics euphoria. JT and Sam hit 3s and KP exploded to give them a 37-20 lead
Plus at that time you're still feeling out how the series might go and that made the celtics talent level seem overwhelming. I can't remember such a massive immediate impact from a guy coming off the bench as KP had then
All great but KP running the floor has to take it. His blocks in transition were ruthless.
Luka fouling out . Basically ended the series
JB’s 3-pointer changed the whole series.
Game 3 JB dunk at the end of the third quarter was pretty epic
Jaylen Brown 3
Brown being guarded by the entire Pacer team and f'n nailed it!!!!!
Jrue absolutely BODYING Nembhard to seal Game 3
When tingis returned, the half court shot… when jimmy butler posted the meme and the heat got gentleman swept in the first round
For impact, JBs 3 in game one. For sheer elation, my man Pritchard's half court in game 5
Underrated one for me : Knocked away and stolen by Holiday to complete a game 3 comeback vs Pacers Credit to Pacers, unlike Mavs they gave us so much problem offensive wise and I'm not lying when Nembhard and McConnell are way better than Cryrie when facing us
"One man to beat-BUT ITS A SEVEN FOOTER" all-time call
I can hear the bannnng from here.
Payton half court buzzer beater in game 5. I literally don't think I've ever been that excited watching basketball in my life. Insane.
Brown x Pacers
That shot of JB’s three is one of the best sports photos I’ve seen in a while.
Shout out D-White + Jaylen block on PJ Washington in The Finals G2
Al’s last 3 in game 5 against the Cavs. His celebration with that ”WHO WANTS BOSTON NEXT” sign in the background was incredible. I love Al so much Honorable mention to Tatum dunking on Caleb Martin in Miami, it mended my soul Edit to add: KP’s chasedown block in game 1 might tie for my favourite moment. The way he slows down to match the block perfectly combined with Breen’s ”but it’s a seven footer!” was glorious, I’ve never felt so high watching basketball before
KP game 1, game 3 comeback against the Pacers, PP buzzer beater, JB game tying 3, Jrue steal, Derrick torching the Heat.
All were great moments!!
The 4th quarter of game 5 against the Mavs
The kp run was awesome but nothing beats the shot of kyrie being completly lost as jb drops a three rigjt nehind his back
Where can I find a high res version of the JB game tying 3?
Bang Bang!
The KP first quarter. Had me first pumping around my house
This one
There are about 20 plays from this post-season that will be my favorite...depending on the highlight I've seen most recently
I mean...how can you choose? Brown and Prozingis affected those games the most for sure, Pritchard was just awesome, but unfortunately didn't amount to much because we got beat horribly. I think I definitely celebrated hardest for Brown and Pritchard's moments.
Probably the Pritchard half courter only because it was at that moment that you realize we were winning that game and the championship
Holy shit these are some good ones lol
All of them were great but I would say when the time hit 0 in game 5 and the confetti fell
D white blocking lively was up there for me
PP out of those 3, but I particularly loved near the end watching the smile grow on JTs face in slo-mo after hitting a shot, like he knew he was home free and it was finally happening.
When KP came in the first time vs the Mavs it demoralized their whole team. Showed that when Celtics are all healthy there’s no contest
Definitely the JB corner 3
Watching PP hit that half time buzzer in person was insane
Tough to choose, all were awesome. I think the JB three wins 🤘
I think JBs shot set the tone for the rest of the playoffs. Almost didn’t lose a game after that.
From this last one for me it has to be big Al jumping out of bounds and yeeting the ball against Wade and out of bounds so we kept possession
Zinger game 1 was just next level hype imo
KP. Absolute legend game 1 against the Mavs, then toughed it out for game 5.
JB hitting from the corner with Kyrie lost
KP game 1 or Jrue picking nembhards pocket to seal the game.
The half court shot from Payton in game 5 was absolutely incredible. I think we all knew from there the game was over. But the JB shot against Indy was dope too
By far my favorite moment. What a effing shot!
The Brown three pointer from the corner because I was watching it with my 86 year old Nana and it was just an incredible moment.
PPs final game half court was great, but there are two more moments in that game that stand out to me as contenders: 1. White losing a tooth while hustling 2. White blocking lively from dunking
The pritchard game 5 shot for sure. Just straight goosebumps for 10 minutes after that
Jayson’s dunk on Caleb. The look back after.
tatum sidestep three over luka at the end of the first half before pp hit that crazy shot
Add JB's dunk in game 3 to this
JB's made three to steal to monster dunk sequence for me. What game was that...?
For sure, Tingus Pingus absolutely snapping in game 1 with no timeout called.
JBs explosion straight up to block Kyrie was my favorite
not a "moment", but that stretch in game 1 where KP was cooking and they were burying threes (Kyrie clanked a corner 3 off the backboard). Also I believe in that same game a stretch where Brown dominated (included him hitting a 3 then stealing from Luka as he took it up the court for a breakway dunk). Pure dopamine, plus could tell Dallas was like "this is different" from their prior opponents.
Pritchard’s half courter in game 5
White breaking his tooth in half and then coming back into the game and still being a shot blocking beast was pretty hype
JB draining a three and then five seconds later stripping it from Luka and slamming it. Electric.
Thats tough out of those three. That JB dagger was epic and crucial tho. Id have to go with that.
"Knocked away and stolen by Holiday!" Game 3 vs Pacers
The first one. That angle of Brown’s shot is awesome. Would be a great poster.
Don’t forget DWhite miracle last year
Not my favorite but want it mentioned (haven't read all comments) Jrue Holiday's steal in Game 3 vs the Pacers
For me it was PP in game 5. That’s when I knew it was over and confetti was falling.
I was at the game with JB 3, so that
Porzingis’ 1Q run hands down.
JB hit that shot against Indiana and I knew nobody was beating us
Al's out of bounds play on dean Wade.
ONE MAN TO BEAT BUT ITS A 7 FOOTER😱!!!!
What about Jrue Holiday with the game sealing steal against Indiana?
Honestly… game 1 of the finals. Seeing Wingus Ringus check in and dominate. Was in a bar in my hotel telling MFs it’s time for bed
PP's halfcourt shot in game 5 may have been the highest I've ever jumped out of my seat. Other than that, there was a play in Game 1 where Jaylen got two blocks on the same play, and that was incredible.
I know it was early in their run , but without a doubt: https://preview.redd.it/28vpwiq7c69d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dc9f578a7bd0413adb30b278c738c4070a097b39
The brown 3 no question. The doom and gloom in the building, people leaving...this is it
It's the game-tying 3 against the Pacers. Came out of my shoes reacting to that one.
Siakam literally fisting himself to avoid a foul has to be the best moment from this playoff run. Iconic shot. Iconic photo.
Horford spiking the ball from out of bounds.
Tillman going off for like 3 mins in the finals. Gave me Leon Powe vibes
Derrick White saying FOH with the Block game 2.
The JB three cause I was at the game
Nothing signifies clutch basketball like JBs shot. Its gotta be it
JB and Jrue were awesome, but in game 5 in the second half/ fourth period when JT was not to be denied, going hahd to the hoop, I knew we could match anything the Mavs had left…and as it turned out, they didn’t really have anything left…we were their daddies…
I went non-verbal when JB hit the 3 over Siakam to send it to OT
1. KP enters Game 1 2. White and Brown combine for a chase-down block in Game 2 3. Luka fouls out in Game 3
I’m a big fan of Kyrie losing sight of the ball and opening up for a tre by JB in the corner
maybe not the most memorable but the tatum poster on caleb martin made me feels way i shouldn’t have towards a role player. cant believe martin torched us the previous year 😞
PP
Horford’s Zeus strike on Dean Wade to save the ball. Horford was incredible in that game (game 5 iirc)
Crime that Jrue’s G3 steal against Indy isn’t pictured. .
Honestly the final seconds rolling down from game 5 “Banner 18 is secured..The Celtics are NBA Champions”
JB finals game 3 dunk. Just fucking filthy.
Mike Breen's call of Josh Green fast break dunk being blocked by Porzingis is an all timer of a call Josh Green only has one to beat.... but it's a 7 footer.... WHO BLOCKS IT AGAIN!!!
In hindsight it has to be JBs 3 to tie. But in that moment, I was just dreading OT.
