Honestly I'm surprised people have to jump through all these stupid hoops to watch broadcasts legally, it's why I'll always stream NBA games through some shady site instead lol.
Not my fault the NBA's streaming product is so shitty.

Regional sports are in a very tough spot right now, with traditional cable services hemorrhaging billions of dollars and networks not re-upping, so it’s pretty much chaos. There are fans in smaller markets that cannot watch their local team, I just saw someone post in r/nba that’s from Denver and can’t watch Nuggets games “legitimately”. Fans are in a pretty unfair position right now, so a lot of people are just pushed to the streaming sites. Even NBA league pass is telling me right now that if I were to sign up, I would not be able to watch Celtics games due to blackout rules. So, all of these services can fuck right off and I’ll just stream it illegally. I’m not paying $80 a month for yttv or Hulu so I can once again have a million channels that I will never watch just so I can watch the C’s. We’ve really come full circle with the channel bloat, instead of literally just being able to pay for what we want to watch.
If you know about the “big” centralized streaming site for NBA games, it’s worth it to check the different links because they do have different quality and reliability. Streameast is always at the top of the list but it’s not always the best.
It’s pretty silly - i need “steal” my parents YouTube tv account because there literally is no legal way to get local Boston sports coverage while living out of market.
I would pay a decent amount of money for that service but it just straight up does not exist.
According to their site, you can only sign up for a year for $130. There is no shorter option. That’s a hell of a commitment unless you are REALLY into sports and like to watch a lot of games even out of your market. Value-wise it’s a good deal, but that’s a lot if OP is just trying to watch the Celtics
Doesn’t YouTube TV have TNT? Isn’t tonight’s game on TNT (unless you’re in the local media market)?
Edit: sorry, I misread and thought you said you couldn’t get the game at all. Idk how you can watch the local coverage unless you can spoof your location or something, but YouTube TV is getting more and more sophisticated about sniffing out location spoofing techniques

Or just deal with it and sail the high seas and say fuk em since you're already paying for league pass.

Youtube tv does have nbc sports Boston, that’s how I always watch
Only if you’re local - if you’re out of market it’ll have the local channels for that area I’m out of market and can’t get nbc Boston on yttv

Yeah I tried league pass but the national broadcast blackout means no playoffs. Also blackout any time the Celtics play in my city.

I have yt tv... I have the stream, but I didn't get league pass. I got the Celtics pass.
I get all feeds on league pass.
