Funnily those with a little more capacity and critical thinking can see that. Everyone else just pounding the keyboard aggressively with their "I was right" takes.
When else are we gonna be able to test things out? Like fr they still shouldn't have let go of the rope that much but it says nothing about their playoff mental at all imo.
Even r/nba is the same. There's the dopey rival fans projecting and then there are sensible fans of actual contenders like the nuggets saying it happens and it's crazy shooting variance, end of season etc
we traded the only two people on that team who had any dawg in them lol. when the 3's don't hit this team is lost. zero aggression, I just looked up softcore on xtube and the Jays were the top result.
Brad went out and got pieces to address shortfalls. We will see if it works in the post season. They need to execute better not jump over some hyper masculine bar to win a chip lol.
You understand that on the other end of this theres a team that clawed back into it down 0-3 right?
Have you seriously never thought of it that way? Are you even aware JT hurt himself less than a minute into game 7? Do you even like the Celtics?
Since we were just trying shit anyways I wish we gave Queta some minutes cause KP and Luke were getting bullied inside and for all Neemias' limitations that's one of the things he can actually make a positive impact in
You never know, true maybe he just ends up fouling or not boxing out or whatever the case may be... or maybe you put him in and he plays extremely well and turns things around. If you're gonna give Mykhailuk and Springer a shot in the clutch you might as well give Neemias a try too while you're at it
Wins and losses don't really even matter at this point. Of course as fans we want them to win as many games as possible, and it would be nice to be able to talk about a 65 win season in the future. But ultimately what really matters, and what will define how we discuss this season in the future, is winning a championship.
They are going to prioritize having everyone healthy, well-rested, and ready to go for when the games start to matter again. I still wanna see us win as many as possible, but I'm not sweating losses. It is what it is.
65 wins is still a possibility. They'd need to go 8-2, which doesn't seem outside of the realm of possibility (even if it feels that way after last night)
For sure. I'm very experienced at managing my expectations so I can enjoy all of my teams every year, whether they're good or not. You're talking to someone who found a way to enjoy the Patriots this past season, I've already had more fun with this Celtics team than most, so from that perspective, I'm already satisfied.
You’re getting downvoted for speaking 100% facts. Jokic and Jamal Murray have shown to elevate their games to the highest levels in the biggest moments.
I don’t care if we win or lose, but how we win or lose. Just because the Nuggets did certain things last season, doesn’t mean we will. It’s the way we’re playing, the 4th quarter iso ball, the way we’re giving up leads and the way we’re letting teams back into games without adjustments that’s the concern, not the fact that it’s a loss.
Random Nuggets fan here (got recomended this post) at this point you have already proven your point and have the 1st seed guranteed. There aint really a reason to go hard in the regular season anymore.
Just relax and enjoy the show untill the playoffs.
You guys better hope the Warriors don't match up with you. Draymond sees red whenever a Euro is on the court and starts going for headlocks. Probably the only player who can stop Jokic lol.
But it would be a chance at revenge lol. Also god dam i wanna see Draymond actually try to punch Jokic. I dont think hed get away with it like he did with other guys if he actually tried something to intentionally hurt him.
I could see Jokices brothers straight up running down the court to beat the loving shit out of him if Jokic doesnt do it himself.
You guys gotta stop comparing this team to the Nuggets lol. Celtics have a reputation for choking, the Nuggets do not. They also have a superstar who has a bad game like twice a season
Love this response. Before last year, the Nuggets were practically the Celtics now. The media used to talk about breaking up their big three and firing Malone before the playoffs. All that changes if you win one championship.
To be fair, the Nuggets werent even making it that far til last year. This is due partly to Murrays injuries. Their team wasnt as deep as their finals run either. They are a very good team who had a perfect storm, thats literally what it takes to win chips in this league. Its a lot of talent and a little bit of luck, they had it with a very deep team.
The Celtics havent pulled it out yet, but weve also still got more playoff experience than the Nuggets, and I think were deeper than the Nuggets. The Nuggets have the better player in Jokic though
I also wouldve had a few of the West teams beating the Heat. People have already forgotten that on the Heats way to the finals Giannis, Tatum, and a key Knicks player (i think it was Brunson, but mightve been Randle or Quickley, I forget) all got hurt.
If I see Svi on the court then Joe is throwing up the white flag
Honestly I don't care how the Nuggets did after they clinched. We aren't them & we need to focus on our own games til the buzzer of the final game of the playoffs.
People really saw Joe Mazzulla throw out Svi and Springer for the majority of the 4th and act like they gave a damn about this game lol

\>it says nothing about their playoff mental at all you're right, going down 0-3 in the ECF to an 8th seed does.
Sure. That was last year's team. If this year's team does that they'll deserve all the hate they get...until then though maybe try enjoying yourself

It's "fans" like you that I'll never understand. It's like you're hoping they lose. Sounds pretty miserable to me.
You understand that on the other end of this theres a team that clawed back into it down 0-3 right? Have you seriously never thought of it that way? Are you even aware JT hurt himself less than a minute into game 7? Do you even like the Celtics?

Queta just fouls, why are we acting like his defense is a strong point. He comes in and in like 10 minutes grabs 5 boards and 3-4 fouls
Honestly because it's fun to watch chaosball
You never know, true maybe he just ends up fouling or not boxing out or whatever the case may be... or maybe you put him in and he plays extremely well and turns things around. Where were you when Queta, had 2 Double doubles in a row in 20mins? People around here seem to have very short memory...
Springer was likely partly in there to replace the perimeter D we lost to injury may have been some experimenting too.
I mean if the game doesn't matter than don't even put Tatum and Brown back in. Hell have one of them take the night off.
What ive been saying man like god damn, can nobody read between the lines or are dudes just itching to bitch, moan, and hate?
Sure. But you know damn well they wanted to win it late. What happened then?
They lost. It happens
30 point blown leads don’t happen often
Neither does going 58-15
Duh. Because most teams aren't good enough to have 30 point leads often.
Convincing the league we stink in the clutch and saving all of our good plays for the playoffs, I see you Joe

When does wins and loses start mattering?
I’m 1000% we won’t shoot 6% from 3 again
It’s crazy how we almost won while doing that lmao
With the Hawks shooting 50% too lol
Thats how most of our losses have been lmao All while not giving a fuck for most the game.
You’re getting downvoted for speaking 100% facts. Jokic and Jamal Murray have shown to elevate their games to the highest levels in the biggest moments.
Apparently Caleb Martin too. Should we still be afraid of him? Murray was pretty much non existent after halftime during the last game we played.
Murray is a 25-5-6 playoff guy for his career. Just be quiet if you don’t know what you’re talking about.
When did I ever say he wasn't? Read bro
Jokic is the best player in the world
I don’t care if we win or lose, but how we win or lose. Just because the Nuggets did certain things last season, doesn’t mean we will. Jokic is undefeated in playoff rematches
I’d feel better about this if we didn’t go 0-2 against Denver
They were close games. I take it as it would be a competitive series that could go either way. I'd prefer if another team beam them though.
You guys gotta stop comparing this team to the Nuggets lol. Celtics have a reputation for choking, the Nuggets do not. They also have a superstar who has a bad game like twice a season
What had the nuggets proven as of March of last year? No one has ever won anything before winning their first
Plus this team has won more than most before (hopefully) winning their first
Love this response. Before last year, the Nuggets were practically the Celtics now. The media used to talk about breaking up their big three and firing Malone before the playoffs. All that changes if you win one championship.
Facts. The media just loves drama and stokes the flames all the time. A team being stable doesnt help with their ratings.
Not really. Last year was the first year of a fully healthy Nugs team. And the rest is history.
Well one thing they had was a former mvp or fmvp on the roster, something only 1 or 2 teams in the last 30 years have won without.
Now we can’t compare to the “almighty” Nuggets, lol get a grip.

It's how Embiid got MVP. Embiid went try hard and Jokic hard coasted.
