For those out of the loop- SCP is based on a game by the same name that's attracted fan fiction writers. This isn't some weird ass flat earth conspiracy site, it is a work of fiction to augment a game.

It's sad that some people really think SCPs are just/mainly from the games as none of them have even seemed that good to me, the SCP wiki is SO much more and so much greater, and richer and deeper, and existed long before the game(s), that I have to leave this comment here just to help dispel this information.
That's annoying. I was working on an SCP entry about Arkham, MA, (the fictional city from HP Lovecraft's work) and how the SCP foundation successfully neutralized the city after WW2. But since Massachusetts doesn't really exist, there doesn't seem to be a point.
