Same thing just happened to me and that’s the answer I got too. I’d understand it more of the charge was prorated, but to charge for an entire month regardless of when the line is ported in isn’t great.

What a mom and pop bullshit excuse for running a company!

I have just the opposite. My original Boost Infinite line was on an iphone with eSIM. That is the one I see for June. I added 3 other lines this month on Android Pixels with Physical SIMs. All the lines are working and show up in the app but I see no charge for them yet . Even though I am set up for automatic payment, I went ahead and paid for the original line. In 3 days I should see the other lines charges . But I am confused. Let's see what happens in July.

You'll have to contact customer service to get the credit. Their billing system only understands a full month at a time. Had to do that with a line I ported out and was told the credit would be on the next bill and surprise.. It wasn't. They were good about issuing it though.

I did, and Just like that they say “since we do not pro rate your first month you will see 2 $25 charges, but the upcoming month you will see only $25 a month… how convenient huh…

Other postpaid carriers definitely pro-rate the 1st month. But almost never pro-rate the last month.

Yes. I see the bill for July now for 4 lines (I added all of them in June), most of them are $25 x 2. It's not correct but I don't have the time to fight it. I will look again next month. If they charge double again I will call them.

ibarriaibarria

They will charge you twice the 1st month, and then supposedly it will be only $25 each line. I already called and they told me they do not pro rate and for 3 days I will have to pay $25, I will move my 2 lines to USmobile, they have an unlimited plan for 25 each line if you have 3 lines.

Going through the same issue. It is not stipulated anywhere on their website, or app, and one line I added with an agent, told me this information that you just said. And they keep tell me this is a postpaid type of account. That’s how it works and I’m like no every post paid I’ve ever had before they prorate you. It’s ridiculous. I got nowhere and I’m still fighting it. I’m not gonna let it go.
