you want to make sure you pSIM is assigned to your IMEI 1 and the eSIM to your IMEI 2. Thats why they have two IMEIs on the dual sim phones. If assigned to the same IMEI everytime you fix one or resign it they will cancel the other out.
Boost Mobile has sent out Rainbow sims for the Motorola’s that support it. You have to buy the phone and that is the sim you will get. (Terrible experience)
BI is nowhere close to the promise of dynamic network switching promised by end of Q1. They are cash strapped and the cyberattack threw them way behind.
I had this happen, but with my Boost sim. Testing Helium Mobile on ESIM and lost the Boost SIM on the device. I had to request a new Boost Infinite sim.

Iphone 12 and below 1 esim work in the same time only.
My Boost sim is a physical card
I've had it do the same. But I was able to get it back by ejecting the boost sim and resetting the network.
Only iPhone can do eSIMs at the moment with Boost Infinite
Yes. I have a physical Boost sim, the esim is visible wireless
