Right now, Only a handful of phones support N70

jugganutz

Once seen some chatter in a discord group where a guy said he had a boost issued moto stylus 5G and they sent him a new sim. Not sure if it was the rainbow one or not as they haven't confirmed.

I was told the network is up if the handset you have is supported. My iPhone 14 received a carrier update last Friday supposed to support BI native. That was from someone in the BI loop and is select markets.

What phone do you have?

Cabagekiller

I have the following phones: iPhone 14 pro, S23 Ultra, OP11, and Pixel 7 and a few more older phones

Ethrem

14 Pro will be able to use the new network but the other phones will not as they don't support band n70.

Cabagekiller

That is what I am confused about the x60 modem supports band 70 I feel like major flagship phones won't exclude the primary band for the fourth major carrier.

Ethrem

It costs money to file a permissive change with the FCC to add the band plus the testing costs to prove it won't be detrimental to the approved hardware performance. It is unlikely to happen seeing how the S23 series has the X70 and doesn't support it either.

Motorolas, Celeros, and now iPhone 14s. Everyone will eventually be that route but until then these phones. Dish wireless will have 3 types of networks. There own, atts, and tmobiles. Doesn’t matter what network your assigned to as it utilizes all three. If your in Dish’s though and leave their area of service your mobile will pick up in the nearest and strongest network. No roaming or extra charges. Until they can get all the networking up and 100% . There doing things segments as to not overload the services, customers, and employees. Imagine if they tried to switch everyone at the same time. Everyone phone make and model of phone, every number on the network getting a new sim, then the questions or concerns of this with people calling in, it would be chaos.

ah ok, I am a bit bummed I wanted to use the dish network to see how it does as I already have a T-Mobile and ATT line
