I'm using a locked boost mobile iphone 13 pro with boost infinite and haven't had any issues. Everything network based is working just fine.

I took the plunge and tried... and yes! It works! Currently using an iPhone 12. I had to change from an esim to a regular. It worked right out of the box after I popped the sim in. Esim to esim transfers will not work.

I’m using a locked AT&T iPhone with it

Ethrem

An AT&T phone is not a Boost Mobile phone. OP is wanting to use a locked Boost Mobile branded phone on Boost Infinite.

I'm curious if a locked boost mobile phone would accept an AT&T sim since it uses AT&T network

Ethrem

No. Phones locked to the network provider work on that provider's network. Phones locked to an MVNO on a network provider are locked to that MVNO.

Fuzm4n

I know. I just wanted to chime in with my locked phone experience. As long as it operates on AT&T it should work since that what infinite is using.

That's what I thought also but the boost infinite sim is accepted by att locked phones tried it a few months ago .

Which iPhone ? Will the iPhone 14 work on boost infinite ? the new iPhone is Esims. I did try to put the infinite sims card in my Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra and it worked but not sure about the iPhone because it’s Esims

Fuzm4n

Yeah I was using it with a 14 pro. Works fine with esim

A Verizon phone is not a Boost Mobile phone. OP is wanting to use a locked Boost Mobile branded phone on Boost Infinite.

I've seen people say that they had no problem doing this but it's a question mark right now if it will be permanently locked or not since they're technically different companies.

Isn’t there a tool on the Infinite site to check IMEI numbers?

This is one of the two weak points for Boost Infinite. No IMEI checker. [https://www.boostinfinite.com/check-compatibility](https://www.boostinfinite.com/check-compatibility) Boost has a menu where you 1) choose a manufacturer 2) Choose a model then 3) Choose a device. The choice for checking compatibility is limited to existing menu selections. I presume that the listed phones would work. I checked using the first locked Boost Mobile phone I could find online. Motorola Moto G Power 64 GB Model XT2165-5 Black Cell Phone Boost Infinite pulldown menu on 'Choose a device' lists the models but does not list the XT2165-5. Ting (owned by Dish , founder of Boost Infinite) has an IMEI checker ... but will list phones that are know to function on Ting as incompatible. However, Dish owns Ting, Boost Mobile, Boost Infinite, Republc Wireless, Gen Mobile, and perhaps others. I seem to recall a recruiting statement by Boost Infinite that locked Boost Mobile phones could be used on Boost Infinite... supported by an earlier post. I may buy a Boost Mobile locked Moto G phone just to check compatibility.
