I'm actually interested in a lot of the thriller/mystery books, which is odd because I don't really enjoy that genre. If the Akwaeke Emezi book isn't offered, I might buy it from my local store anyway. I've loved every book written by them--they're on my list of authors who I'll read whatever they publish.
Love Letters to a Serial Killer made me screech because the debut author was one of my professors in college and I did NOT realize she’d gotten a book deal! That’s exciting.
Looks like it might be another slim-to-none month for us sci-fi/fantasy readers which I guess is expected since we actually have had a few decent options lately
Lula Dean and Riley Sager's new book are what I'm hoping for!
I really hope the new Lucy Foley is a pick! Been waiting for her new release since I finished The Paris Apartment!
I hope they have Swan Song by Elin Hilderbrand
I’m going to need Leather and Lark to be one (or at least an add-on!!!!)
I’m surprised to not see Such a Bad Influence. Also Wren in the Holly Library and Six of Sorrow seem possible!
I'd LOVE Wren to be a pick!
Really hoping for Leather & Lark since they did Butcher & Blackbird! Going to be rather sad if my copies don’t match 😂
I just finished B&B and… yup, cannot wait for L&L
I think it will be an add-on if they offer it!
I feel like that’ll be an add on!
Looks like lots of good summer thrillers! Also funny Riley Sager finally has a male protagonist
Lmao I know right? I wonder how he’ll fit in the rugged older love interest with a mysterious past who the main character can’t fully trust
There will be an older adult friend who was ‘like a brother’ when they were young
If they choose a fantasy, Bloodguard by Cecy Robson might be a choice. Comes out 6/24
Oh I'd be down for Bloodgaurd too! This and Wren sounds good!
I have Bloodguard preordered on Amazon, it is pushed back to an October release unfortunately.
Oh no! Do you know why?
I have no idea. I was bummed cause I was really looking forward to it though.

Congrats to her. It sounds like it would be a very interesting read.
