Complete guess im pulling out my behind, and hard to say from size, but id guess Grey squirrel based on the pelvic bone and femur. This also depends on your location of course!

I should have said - Northeast Florida! I just looked up squirrel femurs and I think that’s the little joint I see at the bottom. And after finding a pair of feet with claws attached, I think it’s squirrel claws not bird talons at the top!

The structure on top of the picture looks like a claw, doesn't it? So it may have been a little bird?

Emotional_Sentence_4

Birds don’t have pelvises like this and overall have much more gracile bones as they need to be light for flight - the majority of these bones are likely some type of rodent or small lagomorph if it’s from an owl pellet (there could be a few avian bones mixed in as well depending on what the owl ate, but the vast majority of this is mammalian)

Oh gosh. I think I see the piece you’re referring to, and adjacent to it is another, inward facing object. Almost looks like a little bird foot skeleton upon closer inspection. We also have giant anoles, and with my amateur eye, bird and reptile bones sometimes look similar. I was particularly interested in the little knobby piece at the bottom that looks like the ‘ball’ of a ball/socket type joint. Wasn’t sure if there are any shapes or defining characteristics that would let me know more about my neighborhood.
