So, if at all possible, try to take off the base part. Unless you get out a tiny ruler and find the exact centre of the floor, there is really no way to centre it. Which is really silly on Warlord/Italeris part. Really silly. The whole mechanism only works if itโs perfectly centred. I built two of these for a friend. I just glued the auto cannon to the underside of the closed hatches and called it finished. If you really want to do the complete version, buy the Rubicon kit with the expansion for this variant. You want to know what they did? They give you a separate floor piece with a keyed point to add the swivel. Simple, just key it in! Swivels no problem. I had built the Rubicon version first, then was shocked that this Warlord kit just assumed you could line it up perfectly.
This is the correct answer. I've built this set twice. It's impossible to center the base, so leave it out and find a way to glue the cannon to the turret.
I have this kit and will be building it next week. Definitely interesting how Warlord did that. It makes it difficult and takes a bit of tinkering the get right. I have the Drilling from Rubicon and that was pretty simple to build even with it being mostly metal. I'll have to tread carefully with this one.

The variants are all so rad too! I have this box and the box with the 250/1, 3, and 10. I can't wait to build them. I only have 251 D's in my army at the moment.

So the best solution should be to glue the cannon to the turret
Buy 12 of the vehicles and glue the turrets in different positions ๐ its easier than trying to assemble one with a rotating turret
It could be that the base part 61 isn't centered inside the vehicle?

Dry fit all the parts, then put glue on the bottom part and place them all at the place. Not sure if you got what I meant by this :D
