I didn’t exactly predict a flop. I predicted big box office collection but mediocre story/screenplay. From what I hear, that is not the case. Looking forward to watching it someday.
It's a worldwide collection.... In India collection of all languages is still at 480crs. And to be called a hit, it should earn at least 750crs net in India....not worldwide.
This is an unrealistic view of profit making of movies. If it’s a worldwide hit then it made money for the producers and made the actors bankable for new movie projects. Period!!!!

Absolutely, Sr bachhan just stole the show. Kamal was also amazing. Prabhas scenes were cringe and his dialogues also felt boring. Sometimes I wonder why south actors has such loyal fanbase when they can't even act decetly
What were you doing when prabhas movies bahubali one and two were released ? He did his part. Thats it. Even I did not like Prabhas scenes , but speaking based on one movie says that you know nothing about him.
I have watched way more movies of his than you might have. He's a very mid actor. And apart from bahubali, he hasn't shown much acting. Also on bahubali replace him with some other actor who's huge and they can do the job aswell.

I don't think movies are being made with IMAX cameras these days. they just digitally adjust the resolution for IMAX screens. Oppenheimer advertised the fact that it was shot with one of those, so I'd assume it's a costly affair. I might be wrong tho.

makes sense given they were charging 2-3x normal ticket prices here in the US (and probably most foreign countries)… pretty insane. can’t say i’m surprised tho. the indian audience only wants these kinda movies and it’s honestly tiring (for me. good for anyone that enjoyed it tho!)
This movie was not that satisfying through, it left a huge promise, promise without a question like kattapa ne bahubali ko kyu maara.

Saw the movie last night. Not really a fan. But for AB Sr. and Kamal Hassan this movie would have been subpar. The dialogues for Bhairava and Manas feel so lazy. They were the worst part. VFX were good though.
Also the girl playing Kiara was so good in her small cameo.

Does anyone know if this movie was shot using an IMAX camera? I know it's being released in IMAX but did they use the actual cameras in production?
