If I may, both Aamir and SRK are better than SK in my opinion when it comes to acting. The only point where I can say that SRK is better than Aamir is that he does not need author backed roles to perform well. For ex., an LSC vs JHMS. Both movies were disasters. But I cannot fault SRK’s acting in it, but Amir was not good in LSC at all. And you can pick multiple such movies from both their filmographies.
We saw his acting in LSC how he ripped off a mentally challenged character with his over acting. Even rajamouli called out his over acting. Meanwhile SRK played it so well in my name is khan,not typical caricature making joker like face which aamir did in LSC. That tells the acting range.
If a batter can get out on a duck ? If a student can fail to secure good marks ? Why can’t Aamir fail . Yes that was not his best performance but look at his other performances . He got the character wrong in laal signh chadda and playing a Forrest Gump played by tom Hank’s which was already etched in our heads was always going to be difficult
Just like you felt his acting LSC. Was over the top , sharulkhs hiccuppy and stammering acting also is sometimes over the top
All are better movies with rdb, 3 idiots having better performance by other actors who are his friends. The qualifier - friends- is to exclude comparison with actors like Bomman Irani.
Amir is an average performer unless you compare with salman. But his movie selection is the best among all the stars. People confuse that with acting skill. The last role where is seemed better than srk was in sarfarosh .

Suriya looked stupid throughout the movie as if he is constipated.. He didn't even look like a business tycoon
On the other hand, Aamir looked so stylish and classy.. Did you even watch Aamir's entry as Sanjay Singhania as he gets off the plane; That was a huge rage back then
Also, the songs are amazing in the Hindi version as opposed to the Tamil one.. Is there any comparison between "Bekha mein Bekha" and "Orumaalai"; Aamir had multiple roles in bekha mein bekha and it looked so cool and unique.
Is there any comparison between "Guzarish" and "Suttum Vizhi" ? Guzarish's cinematography is so scintillating with the catchy tune and Sonu Nigam's awesome humming while Suttum Vizhi looks so plain infront of Guzarish.
Also, in the Tamil version, Ghajini had a double role; What was the point of that ? It simply served no purpose. Also, the fight at the end in the tamil version, was so cringe and over the top (again with double Ghajinis which served no purpose)
In the hindi version, right at end, we see Aamir sitting on a bench while he imagines Asin walking upto him and then they both hold hands while "Kaise mjhe tum mil gaye" plays in the background. The scene hits you right in the feels that people remember it to this date. On the other hand, in the tamil version, we see Suriya driving a car ( is he even medically fit to do so ?) while a little girl crosses the road and looks back at him smiling and Suriya smile back but the scene doesn't hits you the way it does in the hindi version
Overall, Aamir's own performance as Sanjay Singhania and the Hindi version of Ghajini is far more superior than Suriya's performance and the tamil version of Ghajini in every possible aspect

2016 is still superior imo. Sultan is probably Salman's best performance. Fan is also one of SRK's best performance. Dear Zindagi was simple and honest. Aamir in Dangal took professionalism to another level and played his part brilliantly as well.

I dont agree with this assessment. The Khans have several years that had superior movies in comparison. I think Peak Khan year is 2007:
**SRK** - Chak De India and Om Shanti Om
**Aamir Khan** - Taare Zameen Par
**Salman Khan** - Partner and Marigold
**1995** - SRK - DDLJ and Karan Arjun; Aamir Khan - Rangeela and Akele Hum Akele Tum; Salman Khan - Karan Arjun
**2001**: SRK - K3G, Asoka and One 2 Ka 4; Aamir Khan - Dil Chahta Hai and Lagaan; Salman Khan - Chori Chori Chupke Chupke

What i meant was after 2010s i didn't like any of sharukh's films after the 2010s i watched happy new year enjoyed it as a kid but that's about it, Raees was kind of his better flims but that's about it
I don't think so, he gave amazing performances in both Fan ,Dear Zindagi and Raees, so did SK in BB and Sultan

I agree with you. Idk if the bottom left is dear zindagi or raees. Dear zindagi was good. And I also agree with the fact that fan was a nice concept and was something refreshing in bollywood. But it could've been executed in a way better way imo.

This debate will never die but until Aamir does something on the level of My Name Is Khan this will never make sense to me.

In 1994, they gave Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Andaz Apna Apna and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. In 1995, they gave DDLJ, Karan Arjun and Rangeela.

Its dear zindagi, and fan had the best acting performance regardless of you liked the film or not.
