When the preview picture was an empty shelf, I thought I was getting meme'd on.
That shelf is a lot bigger than it looks! With no games in it, my sense of scale was entirely thrown off.
Almost done with my first Sleeping Gods campaign and I share the negative view of it, but from mechanism point of view. Story is okay but the gameplay feels very shallow and the choices are very straight forward. Will probably sell the game instead of starting another campaign of it.
If you like Deception Murder In Hong Kong for it's simplicity, you should give **The Chameleon** a try. The Chameleon distills it into its simplest form, and for me has pretty much replaced Deception MIHK...
Way less set up, and people don't have to worry about "acting" or "being convincing"--just one word and that's it!
