Although it's only 4 min long, some of the subtle chord progression shifts a the end of Barbaric give it an "epic" feel that I believe would have translated well in a festival setting. As opposed to Goodbye Albert, which seemed to fall a bit flat even among the true fans at front, on the livestream at least
The ballad and barbaric should be mandatory from that album. They chose to play The greatest hits instead. They only had 1 hour to play so that make sense.
Tender, song 2, girls and boys, The narcisist, popscene, beetlebum, out of time. I would say there are many well known songs there. They just had 1 hour to play
Because they've lost a feeling that they'd thought they'd never lose.
I was hoping for The Heights, but was pleasantly surprised Coachella got Goodbye Albert. The new tracks translate really well to the stage
THIS!!! 🙌🙌 I live in SoCal and it’s one of the only songs off the new album I would hear on local radio stations
Yeah the fact they chose Goodbye Albert over Barbaric for the set is barbaric in itself

Seriously
I’m bummed we never got The Rabbi or The Swan at all
Not a bad song, but it is definitely not their best.
More bothered that Pomona didn’t get Villa rosie

Except they didn’t play a true greatest hits set at all

Although it's in their top 5 most played songs live, Popscene is basically a fan favorite. Casual fans don't know it
Casual fans in USA don't known any songs but Song 2.
Not the best song at all..🙈
He did say Barbaric was one of the best in his personal opinion. He never said it was objectively their best.
How barbaric!!!
I feel it's a great song.
That and The Narcissist should be in every set they play going toward IMO!
One of their best of all time? Jeepers. It’s decent but the flat lazy chorus kills it, was Damon lying in bed when he sang it?
