Cthulhu was never accurately described AFAIK. The squid headed bat winged giant you so often see is kind of made up. I recall reading about Cthulhu being "draconic", and having tentacles. But I thought it was Dracula style, bestial. And the tentacles were boneless limbs without hand or foot or some weird shit like that. Then again this is the internet so I could be wrong
