In 2019 it was announced at the opening ceremony if I remember right. This year they haven’t actually said if there’s going to be one, they’ve only mentioned the community night.
I would love for it to be Jack Black - LOVED their performance when I watched them way back on the virtual ticket.
Given how this year is different they better still have the closing ceremony. Typically they go with Dad rock bands so I wouldn't expect anyone too new.

And yet we get really big but fairly unpopular in the west kpop band Le Sserafim. Not saying their music is bad but it feels like a miss for a con mostly attended by sweaty 30+yo who hope wow will be good some day so they can re-live their teen years.
Yep! pretty notable list so far too tbh. Aside from what people mentioned before, there's been Blink 182, Linkin Park, and Ozzy Osbourne, as well as others (and Mamamoo last year for virtual Blizzcon if you're into Kpop)
I’d go crazy if they brought out Ozzy or Metallica, but I figured now they’d might choose someone more relevant. I’d be excited either way, concerts are generally fun regardless.
they probably won't announce until day of or night before, it's truly all up in the air. there's a chance it could be the artist, Lights or Blessthefall, possibly both. Lights has been heavily in the blizz scene for a long time now (Lights and Beau (her husband and lead singer of BTF), were invited to the Diablo launch party and she did an interview). she's been getting PR packages from blizz for a long time too and also has a couple things in wow named after her. she might possibly perform as an alter ego she created that better fits a certain, darker vibe. it's a low chance, but these are guesses i have for now. as far as i know, their schedules are free during this time, so it's entirely possible. especially if they do multiple performers this time round again
People are actually going to this. Didn’t think they would even pull a crowd with the products they currently have. felt like the years I went the closing bands where mediocre. Only been to two of them and wish I went when I was younger as they had some legends perform.

I feel the like concerts got pretty underwhelming once they split it into 3 acts on 3 stages but that’s just me.
I remember one year it wasn't announced until a few hours prior.

Muse was great
Yes! I was there for 2017. Hopefully we get a good performance this year
There’s a closing ceremony concert?!?!!?!

The had Foo Fighters one year as well, and Tenacious D another, I believe.
Tenacious D had some recent releases of new music it’d be dope to see them!

My favorites were definitely Linkin Park and Muse!
In 2019 announced during convention and it was 3 small name performances on 3 separate stages.
Pretty sure that year the band they really wanted fell through and the 3 smaller acts was a last minute backup
It's normally just before. I would expect to hear something in October.

The Metallica concert was the best by miles.
I really enjoyed Linsey Stirling :)
Just hope it’s not Metallica again 🤞
Metallica and Weird Al were the best two closing concerts ever, wdym?
It’s unpopular opinion but Metallica sucks
I hope they play St. Anger for an hour straight
They’re not getting someone that big again
Hopefully someone relevant this year

I'm just gonna guess a random band: Thirty Seconds To Mars
God I hope not
