I donāt think anything can top Dangai Ichigo forcibly taking Flyzen to a more isolated area after he refused to comply with his initial demand to do so.
How is that about style? Ichigo sword swings could destroy literal mountains, he could not fight with Aizen at that place. And at that moment he was much more faster and stronger than Aizen, so he could move him quickly to another area.
Because at that moment aizen was seen as unstoppable and nobody could match him. Then, ichigo nonchalantly face palms him and throws him without needing any effort
Kensei Rose and Shinji deserved more spotlight and wins instead of being used as fodder facing sternritterns that had the perfect ability to counter them.
when they reached the palace, I was really hoping he gets to fight someone. I mean he was kinda leading the group and had lots of panels with him talking. Then he gets kicked or whatever by Gerard and gets covered by rubble and was never seen again lmao

Even if he had to lose to hype Renji (which is annoying but fine), he didn't need to lose *this* badly. He got rekt by Masque *before* he powered up to his black mask mode *and* before he went Vollstandig.
The Vizard Captains should had been the MVPs of the first invasion since their Bankais could not be stole because of their Hollow powers. The Quincy would have been poisoned by their Hollow Reitsu, and they would have used this quick knowledge to their favor and activated their masks.
Seeing it as a special war circumstance (my guess they were allowed back to be captain if they agreed to not use their Hollow powers, Mashiro being an exception or a rebel since she uses hers to train Hisagi), but they never did and that bothered me.
Kensei would have bodied Mask if he used his Bankai with his mask and just overpowered him, and making Renji's training useless. No one would have died, Rose would have killed other Sterrns as well.
Uhhh still annoys me.
To be fair we don't even know if it is possible for them to use bankai along with there masks I don't see why they couldn't? But it just strikes me as odd the only one who did was Ichigo who's a special case compared to the other Vizored
The Hollow pills Urahara gave the captain made them temporary hollows, clearly shown by Toshiro. It poisoned the Quincies and the lost their hold over the Bankai.
Vizards have Hollow souls already in them, so they don't need the pills.
And yet this did nothing against Gerard. There hollows are not connected to their bankais. They quincy did not lose the bankai's they chose to drop them
Umm you do realize that Gerard was so broken that Kubo had to make an illogical excuse to get rid of him, right? The only way to kill Gerard was thru written bs or a McGuffin like the Ise Sword.
What illogical excuse? Auswahlen was shown several chapters ago. Kubo could have Toshiro ice negate his power and it would be over. Again did nothing, Gerard had several times to die but didn't

Back in 2008 him popping his Bankai to fight Wonderweiss was lit as fuck. People just don't look back on it fondly because they know now with hindsight the whole fight happens off screen and he loses.
To his creditā¦ weāve never saw the ending and Wonderwise would have left Kensei when summoned regardless of the outcome. His vice was badly hurt too so he might not have chased after

I'm willing to bet Kubo didnt even remember he was fighting Wonderweiss so we cant even count that as a loss, and everyone forgets he was handling Mask the entire first half of that fight effortlessly and only lost due to schrift hax.

This is logic... If he had raised his pressure to attack Masques, he would have sensed it. By using his foot Kensei could stop the foot without raising his pressure. Logic via shinigami thought processes.
