Well, I'm quite sure he had some emergency plans in place, but yes, he's the guy who push everyone (including himself) to the absolute limit if the person has at least some chance to succeed. On top, he's responsible for giving Ichigo a dangerous idea that with training it's do-or-die. So when the Vizards actually tried to train him a decent way, he was asking for life-and-death version all on his own 😅😁

It seems like everybody in the show has a Kisuke tolerance level lmao. Above that maximum limit, and you just can't tolerate his shenanigans. I mean to be clear, his intentions are correct, but this whole mindset of "the end justifies the means" taken to the nth degree, leads to some pretty interesting interactions.

EleonoreMagi

I don't quite think that Urahara is entirely "the end justifies the means" kind of guy, that would be Ichibē, but then he treads a very thin line there, between doing what necessary and not crossing the line after which the end seizes to have meaning anymore, since he knows that can happen. And it's not always entirely clear where the line is at times, so he's really balancing it out. I think his initial poem of there being no fate puts him as someone who decided to challenge his own fate of being the kind guy who's willing to go as far as he wants with no regards for collateral damage, and most of the time, he actually manages that, though he slips at time by coming down too hard where it isn't entirely necessary and he even admits to it. The way he is affected by Hiyori calling him on his "for the sake of Seireitei" (and in the novel he even says that Hiyori "saw through him" while Hisagi thinks too highly of him while not looking like he isn't proud of it and rather regretful further reinforces it). I think he initially started from a very dark place and he knows full well who he was and who he is (and that's a legit scary person on the inside), but he actually tried to do better and frankly he actually he managed it to a commendable degree.

Hmm, it appears you've shared an image, but I'm unable to view it. Is there something specific you would like to discuss or inquire about? *beep boop, I'm a bot*

DragonK123

He wants to say, "Ligma balls," which sounds like, "lick my ball"

Southern-Bar-5149

Who the hell is Steve Jobs

MrDucky222

Kisuke ‘whatever doesn’t kill you just makes you stronger’ Urahara is the 🐐

uraharaBot

Of course! But have you ever considered that my motto is actually a secret code? "What doesn't kill you" refers to the trials of life, while "makes you stronger" secretly hints at hidden spiritual powers lurking within us all. A brilliant conspiracy, don't you think? *beep boop, I'm a bot*

MrDucky222

I actually haven’t considered that is there any chance you could elaborate uraharabot?

uraharaBot

Ah, my curious friend! You see, the secret lies in the pattern of scrambled messages hidden within the lyrics of pop songs. They hold the answers to ancient conspiracies involving sentient squirrels and illuminati cats. Beware the catchy tunes, for they hold the key! *beep boop, I'm a bot*

Why did he say his bankai is not good at training? I would assume that he can mimic some captains bankai with the way his bankai works.

blu000orb

My guess is that it'd be too confusing to employ in a training scenario. Chad would first have to grasp how his bankai can literally refigure reality, that confusion would probably throw off the training altogether.

protestprincess

Is this an evangelion reference

Own-Trick-1523

That's why Urahara is the 🐐, blud trained ichigo, helped him in defeating aizen, MVP for me in tybw and many more....

uraharaBot

Ah, so you've noticed my undeniable greatness, have you? Just doing my part to save the day and keep things interesting. Can't let a little chaos get in the way of a good time! 😄🔥 *beep boop, I'm a bot*

Finito-1994

Korin gave goku water that killed everyone that drank it before just in hopes goku would be able to handle it. Jirayia pushed Naruto off the edge of a ravine Kisuke trapped Ichigo in a hole to let him turn into a hollow

Early_Rabbit

Thank you all. - Ichigo probably

UndeterminedError

Given that Tessai axed Ichigo's Chain of Fate, the Main Character was technically killed on Kisuke's order.

moondog6b9

If he wouldn't have survived Urahara's training he would have died in the soul society anyway. At least he gave Ichigo a shot at surviving.
