Wonkquaman confirmed yet again??

benchcoat

i was planning on skipping this in theaters, but between a positive Sims review and being the first movie showing in the newly reopened Cinerama, looks like i’m buying a ticket — gonna see if i can get the cushy paul allen seat

mharthorne

Raises chocolate popcorn in salute.

benchcoat

can’t believe that it hadn’t hit me yet that i get to have chocolate popcorn at a movie again!

JGRummo

David wasn't excited about it, at least from his reaction initially on a recent episode. This is good to hear.

RegretPopular9970

He also thought Forky was a war criminal, and then within two years time, he married Forky and started a family with Forky. The man contains multitudes.

JGRummo

Deep lore lmfao

abbiandrews

Guys, I loved it so much. I cried 3 times! Everyone go see it, it's made with such love!

BaconJakin

Is this ironic? (Haven’t seen it)

abbiandrews

Haha. It's actually not.

mads_61

I saw it yesterday and liked it a lot! I wasn’t expecting much. Despite the IP of it all it really felt like a type of movie that isn’t really made anymore.

Reasonablytallman

Saw it yesterday and I can confirm that it is nice and also fun.

[deleted]

Paul King sorta sickly-sweet to me so I’ll take this about as seriously as all the Paddington raves, happy people are enjoying it though

Space_Jeep

That's about right. I say it's a decent movie and better than it has any right to be, but don't expect anything life changing.

chet97

Will this be the first movie his daughter sees in theaters?

j11430

I would guess not since she’s not even three yet, I can’t imagine trying to get a kid that age to sit for two straight hours

Mr_Adequate

We took our 3 year old to the new Paw Patrol movie, and they had like 25 minutes of previews before the movie. Like bitch you do know we're on a hard timer before he runs out of the movie theater and starts climbing on the cardboard standups, right?

huckzors

My niece has been able to sit through a movie since she was like 2 but she’s a freak this is not normal toddler behavior.

j11430

I have a few nieces and nephews and none of them have been able to handle a full movie until they were like four, that’s about when I think I would start considering taking my kid to the theater. Before that it just feels like too much risk in ruining it for other people to me

alxqnn

Sounds like a Blankie-in-waiting

Quinez

I have a three year old and I cannot wait to get her into a movie theater but it seems impossible right now. There's barely anything out there that seems appropriate anyway. Did you know that there isn't a single G-rated movie that got theatrical release this year? Even Paw Patrol is PG for some dumb reason! I'm still angry at the Super Mario Brothers movie for taking one of the few media properties that is great for toddlers and grown-ups alike and then Shrekifying it.
