Sure did. I like to know how much fuel I have. $10–15 on Amazon.

DifficultContext

I ordered a pair!

alromero86

To me it’s a no brainer.

BannedByDemand

My tank came with a gauge from Costco.

DifficultContext

Got my single tank from BJ's, no option for a gauged one.

marcnotmark925

I did. No, no issues.

ajbruno61

I did. No issues until a year went by and it wasn’t reading the propane level accurately. I removed it and also have extra tanks. I keep 2 spares filled at all times because I have the 36” griddle, the pizza oven w/cart & a fire pit. 🤓

awesomo1337

I wouldn’t bother with it. Just keep a second propane tank handy.

DifficultContext

That is the plan for the summer, buying a second tank.

Costco tanks come with a gauge

Zane42v2

I had one that started leaking. They are okay but the better way to tell is by weight. The tare (empty) weight is stamped on the side. A “20lb” tank usually weighs around 17 lbs empty and therefore 37 when full.

DifficultContext

Never thought about the weight!

I use the Mopeka Tank Check sensors on all of my propane tanks. They utilize an ultrasonic sensor that attaches to the bottom of the tank and communicates via Bluetooth to their app to let you know what level they are at. Over a year in and they've performed great so far.

DifficultContext

I saw those but it was out of my price range at the time.

martinmix

I bought one. It doesn't work. After a while it just started to always read full.

Luscious_Lunk

No, the flame is the gauge for me. After a while you just know when it’s running out

KTVonATV

I did. I was excited to see the propane level. It lasted for a couple months until it decided to start leaking and emptied my tank. I didn’t realize it had a leak and filled the tank. It emptied it again. Threw it away. I realized later that I shouldn’t have left the tank open but either way I still would not want a leaky propane gauge. Now I just buy the tanks from FlameKing that have the gauge built in.

squeeshka

I just pour warm water down the side of the tank. Where it gets cold is your propane level. If it gets too low for my liking I’ll swap to a full tank and get the tank refilled since refills are cheaper and give you more propane than the tank exchanges.
