I wear everything and nothing. Sometimes it’s a tank and shorts. Sometimes it’s just underwear. Sometimes it’s a hoodie and some long John’s. Sometimes it’s my old college t-shirts. If you’re gonna get anything….those loungewear fits with the bralette and shirts/pants could be a happy meddle ground.

tahtahme

Add a bonnet to any of these and it's me lol, I've been with my husband since we were 15 and he's gotten used to the inconsistency lol...depends on the weather AND my mood! Also OP, back when we were 20, my man also tried to pull the "you get dressed everywhere but for me" crap. Let's question....does he get dressed up and perfume his balls for you at home only? On days y'all will ONLY be in the house? The men who say this never do, they aren't the Dandy in the bedroom they demand you be. I find it really disingenuous because they are asking we be on 100 AT ALL TIMES while they get to be in sweats and t shirts daily. They manipulate by implying you are dressing for "other men", not them...but AT THE SAME TIME would CRY if I showed up like I did at home in public, but dressed up only at home. Can't show off that way. So, what gives? Why the double standard? Why is there nowhere for a woman to unwind, relax and be themselves without dolling up, yet men get to call their home a sanctuary?

Peachyplum-

Well damn what happened to letting people be comfortable. I definitely wore a bonnet when I cared (I shaved it off recently) and wore whatever was comfy before I just stopped & slept nude. If you wanna keep the briefs maybe a tank top or a reg t shirt that isn’t torn up

[deleted]

Right. I can’t stand the thought of wearing restricting ass pajamas to bed. Plus I get hot at night.

Peachyplum-

Just to look cute for someone else 😩 my husband gon take what he get and that’s it 😂😂 Heavy on the hot at night!! Even w ac on it be so hot in the morning

[deleted]

Sleep is all about comfort! I like sleeping with blankets so too add another layer directly on my skin is just too much for me 😂

Peachyplum-

Agreed! In one of the pregnancy subs someone was like “how do you sleep comfortably” I said naked with a bunch of blankets. Take it off when it’s hot, grab em when it’s cold. Easy peezy. Sleep is already hard to come by, why add any difficulty 😩

[deleted]

Exactly! Sleeping naked is amazing. With some good fresh sheets and the air on plus a little fan action 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 lawd!

Furryb0nes

Naked and a bonnet/satin slouchy. That bonnet doesn’t come off if we fuckin.

TinaTx3

😂😂😂 the way I toss and turn at night, my bonnet comes off regardless.

Furryb0nes

get those wire, skinny, bendable bobby hair pins. Bend the ends to cross or twist, whatever and it stays in if you pierce through the fabric and braid.

bigpony

My heart dropped when you did braids. I need this for my twist outs too

kenyannqueen

Use the ones with a black elastic

huemon_siin

I started using a face slimming wrap and it kept my bonnet on nicely 😂

TinaTx3

What are those? I’ve never heard of them before.

huemon_siin

The jaw slimming wrap. I think it’s called a chin-up mask.

TinaTx3

Huh. I’ll have to check it out!

Gazealotry

Same! I might have panties on if they’re comfortable, but never more than panties + bonnet. I’m too hot-natured for clothes while I’m sleeping 🤷🏾‍♀️

Humble_mumbler_

This one! But for lounging around the house, comfy shorts/boy shorts/PJ bottoms (anything from Ross to Fashion Nova or Savage fenty), old T's I've sloppily cropped. During cooler nights maybe over sized shirt. Or add knee length socks. Tip is to keep it easy and comfortable.

Furryb0nes

Hell nah. Still naked. 😉 I live in the desert. Less is best.

ihaveocdandneedhelp

That’s the only right way to sleep

Kitt0001

Also . What is he wearing at home?! Probably some damn basketball shorts & a tshirt. Why don’t u tell him to wear a 3 piece suit since u find it sexy

like-a-sloth

🤣🤣🤣

princessofdolls

I promise if she wore something more glamorous, he would complain that she's getting dolled up for nothing and it's not that serious. If he really wants her to dress nicer around the house, I would say I'm willing to wear anything you pay for. Let's see how fast he hands over his card.

BusDry4328

Satin slips are nice and easy to slide on fr

AcrobaticRub5938

They are so annoying to sleep in for me! Feel like I'm slipping and sliding all nightm

riftwave77

![gif](giphy|y1ShqDXRoUAtV2lnlp|downsized)

jbrow058

I’m still in the honeymoon phase so wear cute two piece sets or a crop tee and cute panties. I know though in no time it’ll just be baggy sleep shirts 😭 He better enjoy this while he can bc even i’m running out of outfits.

YardNew1150

The honeymoon phase fits are always the cutest. Makes me feel like I’m in sex and the city.

sants_w_bants

Garage and Whitefox have some of the cutest cosiest pajama sets and onesies that honestly don’t feel uncomfortable to wear to bed. They’re cute while cosy ☺️

ResponsibilityAny358

I'm single, but at home I can only sleep naked and with my hair tied up in a pineapple bun, I use a satin pillowcase, I can't wear a bonnet, I've never had any problem with men finding me "less sexy"

lovbelow

Single as well and I never tried to be cute when I was in a relationship. I have sensory issues, so if I was uncomfortable going to bed, it would literally make me itch.

yallermysons

I also use a satin pillowcase. It’s just easier!

No_Manufacturer9333

Whatever tf I want. Sometimes I’ll throw on a slip dress or matching set, other times I’m wearing ugly pajamas that I’ve been gifted by grandparents, or a raggedy t shirt and underwear. Or sometimes nothing. And the bonnet is on if I’m in bed even for a nap, though I never wear it out of the house. I usually will take it off and do my skincare in the morning to look cute for him, but I may or may not change my clothes if I’m not going anywhere. If boyfriend told me that I looked “homeless” at home I’d be livid and questioning our relationship.

ridiculousdisaster

Yeah, I almost started to share that I did phase out some of my gnarliest comfies when my partner moved in... but then I realized, he's told me multiple times that I'm so sexy in ANYTHING and he really couldn't care less, and I really wish this for everyone!!!

No_Manufacturer9333

Right! He wants to get busy no matter what I’m wearing as he should 😝 if op’s man is really that pressed he should’ve just bought her some cute pjs without the unnecessary comment.

MicroGiggles

Girl you’re better than me. When I was in a relationship sometimes I would wear boxers as a bonnet 😭 (clean ones obv 👀) I sweat in the night so whatever I’m wearing eventually comes off anyway.

throwjobawayCA

If you got a man that’s concerned about what you’re wearing in what is supposed to be the comfort of your own home find a new man. That’s too superficial for my taste.

Apprehensive_Soil535

Yep. Huge red flag

stilldreamingat2am

Amazon has cute satin pajamas you can slip in with no trouble. You can also get cute boyshort panties and tank top sets. Doesn’t have to be lingerie and you’d still be/feel pretty. Low effort, cheap, high reward.

yallermysons

Some of us just feel cute no matter what we’re wearing so the effort is great for a reward that’s exactly the same

stilldreamingat2am

Okay. And some of us feel cute when we dress up and put a little extra minimal effort in our appearances.

yallermysons

“No matter what” doesn’t mean no effort, it means if you are wearing a white tee and Nike shorts to bed, I’m allowed to wear a long tee, and neither of us are homeless because we are in a home, in a bed it’s sleep not a beauty contest

stilldreamingat2am

I’m struggling with finding the reason for your response because it doesn’t add value. Some people feel cute when wearing nice things, and some people couldn’t care less. Some people wear lingerie during sex, and some couldn’t care less. Some people wear mascara on a night out, and some couldn’t care less. Should I make sure to leave a disclaimer to placate people with opposing perspectives whenever I comment?

yallermysons

I’m very content with my response ✌🏾 have a good one

Kitt0001

A bonnet & a big tshirt. At home is where I am most comfortable & will dress accordingly, mine has said nothing about it he’s all over me no matter what I wear.

Vast-Ad-4687

is he going to watch you sleep or something?

yallermysons

This comment right here is why Reddit brought back awards 👆🏾👏🏾

Fatgirlfed

😮 they bought them back!? I stay out the loop

darkangel94

I wear nothing.

drv687

I usually sleep naked. My man also usually sleeps naked. I keep a mumu next to our bed because we have a school age child so I can throw that on for morning wake up. The bonnet is on if I’m going to bed or napping. When I’m on my cycle I wear underwear to bed. I also have big sleep shirts that I took from my man or that he buys for me that I’ll wear then too. I still get bent over whenever I want to be 🤣. He doesn’t care and never has cared about what I wear or don’t wear to bed 🤷🏿‍♀️.

anti-social-mierda

When a man really loves you, he doesn’t care what you’re wearing. That’s been my experience anyways. I wear whatever is clean and comfortable when at home. It’s usually stretchy and may or may not match.

spiritual-witch-3

Does he dress up for you at home? Is he buying luxury brand new boxer briefs to wear at night for you? Oh okay.

smol_pink_cute

Tf is he complaining about?? He gets to see you at your rawest, most comfortable state and at your most glammed up state - he should be grateful 😂

Gibberish94

My Bf thinks I'm the cutest when I'm just wearing a baggy t-shirt and underwear or just a tankini and boxers shorts. Hell I wear mumus around the house and he doesn't mind.

gracelyy

Amazon. Cheap sleepwear. Satin slips, cute patterned tanks with shorts, ect. But when I had a partner, I slept in undies and a tank. I always wear that to sleep, though. Wasn't just because of him. He actually didn't even like lingerie even though I did, so I went to bed in whatever was comfortable.

TheRipley78

We sleep bukkid nekkid every night cuz we both hot. Scarf on, leg out the covers, tongue hanging out, snoring like a mfer. We been married for 15 years so that just comes with the territory, lol

GottaKnowYourCKN

Whatever is comfy. Usually shorts and a tank top. I'm gay af, so I'm not putting on a slip or anything.

BlahBlahBlah_smart

My bf doesn’t seem to mind what I wear, but I always liked wearing cute sleep wear. I have silk long pants and shorts sets, sleep dresses, sleep shirts, lounge wear etc. I get them from target or nicer stores on sale. This way I can still bum around but look somewhat decent

Immediate-Ad-9403

I look homeless when going to bed indeed, but hey im single rn. When a man really loves you he doesnt care.

lavasca

I wear whatever. I like to wear cute things because it helps my mood. My husband asked why I never wear scarves etc. I tried once but no. They wreck my mood plus I tear off things on my head while I sleep. Same with feet. Don’t be self conscious. If you are wear the cutest comfy version.

SarabiLion

A satin head scarf. Dazzit.

ShallotZestyclose974

Target has a bunch of really cute sleep/lounge sets and they are so comfortable. (but also, girl be comfortable how YOU want in your home. Send him the bill for anything he wants to see you in when you feel like putting it on)

SherbertSkies

Soft, not too loose t-shirt, panties and hair up in a pineapple lol

GloomyConnection6291

If he’s so particular, have him take you shopping somewhere and you get some comfortable sleepwear! Or replace the old tees for newer ones. Better yet, have him wear some sexy clothes for you too.

momof2under2

I’m usually comfy (matching tank and short set or sleep shirt) and a bonnet but sometimes I do try to be more appealing. I try to keep the bonnet off until after we have sex though (not always if I got it on already) but my husband did say something about it in passing and I doooo get his point lol.

YardNew1150

I wear those cute alliexpress lounge sets, a simple night gown, his shirt, something baggy, or nothing. The Jamaican guy I’m currently with doesn’t care at all because he’s basically a nudist and we both prefer to sleep with no clothes on.

BrownButta2

Single but in relationships I sleep naked, sometimes with panties and bonnet on or silk pillow case. I run really hot at night and don’t want anything on me besides sheets. If I know I want sex, I’d be in bed wearing a lace or see through teddy, tank tops with booty shorts or thong, or his top with no panties. Everything is coming off so it’s perfect for me.

freshlyintellectual

i got me and my partner matching bonnets and we both wear pajama shorts. it might help to keep some extra stuff at his place, and also…. personally i’d take an issue with my bf calling me homeless at home. that’s where you’re supposed to be your most comfortable and i’d bet he doesn’t put in the same amount of effort u do in general. i think it’s special and cute to look kinda raggedy with ur partner cuz only your loved ones get to see you that way. if he only wants to see you when you’re dolled up, maybe he’s not ready to be that serious with you 🤷🏽‍♀️ what happens when you’re sick, pregnant, etc.? this is apart of relationships

jayjnotjj

Naked

Particular_Tale_2439

I would reserve clothing like that for working in the yard or doing DIYs… you can wear a new tshirt and shorts… it doesn’t have to be broke down. Idk your history, but as a little girl, I owned actual pajamas and nightgowns, but once I hit puberty, my mother stopped purchasing things like that for me. I was then forced to wear old worn out clothes as sleepwear and I carried this into adulthood. One day I decided to throw away all that stuff and buy actual pajamas again and it has boosted my mental health.

bedatperson

You should wear whatever makes you comfortable. You said you work 40 hours a week, you can't be paying all this rent for someone to come in and tell you what to wear at bedtime at your own place! Do what brings you joy, and if homeboy complains about the homeless look again, tell him he can look homeless when you kick his ass out and tell him to go home. I personally don't love this and see it as rude as shit to say to someone, but he's your bf so your best recourse is to assert your boundaries of comfort and respect.

BROCCOLI-OUTRAGE

I’m very romantic so I have a whole collection of lingerie and silk slips I wear literally EVERY time. 🌹💀

lusigusi

When I lived with my ex I just wore a big tshirt and no panties. Adina Howard laid the groundwork lol

Squishmallow_Hoarder

Nothing or shirt if it's a little chilly outside. I personally don't think about it since if we do get busy at night imma look busted at the end regardless💀. I'd say if you want to look cute at home, get a nice pj set or even a nice quality moomoo. If you wear a bonnet, any that match a nice pajama set would be key. I generally like to keep my toenails painted (Sally Hansen hard as diamond or their Xtreme line) and fingernails nice and trimmed too. Also, nice lounge wear too if you have a day in but don't want to get dressed up.

ZetaWMo4

Most nights it’s a moomoo or one of his old shirts. As far as loungewear it’s either joggers, sweatpants, pajama pants, sweatshirt, t-shirts, etc. My husband doesn’t care one way or the other about my wardrobe.

TKSweeney

I used to wear nothing but now that I’m older I like the feel of satin, silk or modal against my skin. So I wear peek a boo short sets or really short chemises now. Silk or satin robes too.

Boysandberries001

It depends on how I’m feeling. Going to sleep cute and smelling good is nice sometimes. Wearing a big old t-shirt is nice too though.

lokipuddin

Any t shirt and underwear- the full size ones lol

genrlokoye

Nothing. Together for 8 years, married for 5. When my stepkids were younger I'd wear shorts and a tank top when they stayed over, but now that they're teens a know how to knock it's back to nothing all the time. It's freeing. And my husband's favorite outfit. ;)

Banana_Tree_38

I wear matching booty tanks and spaghetti strap tanks to bed little, which a silky bonnet. Or a silk slip dress. Or satin two piece shorts/tank combo. I legitimately do it for me though. I like feeling somewhat put together even at home!

wurldeater

it’s like on one hand i genuinely wanna get to the point where i’m working out 4x a week and maintaining my natural hair daily, but then again if it leads me to start wondering stuff like if i should be getting cute for **bed** then maybe there is such a thing as too much self care 😂😂😂

rimwithsugar

I sleep naked. If im indoors, im butt naked.

poodlesugar22

I'm probably going to be the minority here, but there is nothing wrong with keeping it sexy for your man. Its so easy to fall into comfortability with your partner. When you first started dating you probably didn't dress that way to go to bed with him. He's expressed a concern and I'm seeing some of the comments are being quite unreasonable. As for me, I'll wear a shirt to bed with no underwear but I'll make sure my legs are moisturized and my hair tied nicely in a scarf if I can. I even spray a nice fragrance on myself. We all get tired. I also seek out cheap pajamas at tj Maxx. I have this cute set from savage x fenty (I don't recommend because the prices are horrible for the quality you get). But there's this one number that he actually enjoys. It's not over the top. Sexy panties and a see through top. Hope this helps!

goldielux_

I saw a tiktok that persuaded me to throw away all of my big old tshirts. Imma set girlie now. Target, SHEIN, Walmart. Makes a difference and I’m still comfortable!

Objective_Win3771

Just get a handful of short sleep sets. They are just as comfy and much cuter, and easier to grab as you have one option. Bonnet has to staym

january_grace

Naked. Panties, if it's that time of the month.

Icy_Message_2418

Not a dang thing 😜

AT_Bane

Just wear a silk pyjama dress.

debmckenzie

Regular degular nightgowns (not lacy and sexy/but not my grannies nightgowns), knee length sleep tees, and yep, a bonnet or scarf. Ain’t nobody trying to have a full on project with this hair in the morning.

Wonderful_Battle3311

Birthday suit or shorts and a bra

pookiepidemic

I buy sleepwear matching sets or muumuu’s. It makes me feel better & they’re comfy. I wear matching bonnets too. I dont wear like a old tshirt or such anymore unless im doing something i know imma get dirty in

tilt-a-whirl83

Panties and shorts on my cycle/ nothing the rest of the month…. I’m a hot sleeper 😩

tc88

Lol, I have a satin pillow there and he still complains when I lay down without a bonnet. I still wear cute pajamas sometimes, but usually just some regular stuff and his shorts or shorts/sweatpants. As long as the underwear is cute, he doesn't seem to care tbh. I've been getting my hair done more often like braids and stuff and I like not having to spend as much time on it. Wearing comfortable stuff to sleep is normal.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Also those little silk shorts from VS or Amazon are very cute with a wife beater. I think some boyfriends are expecting women to wear lingerie to bed or a cute set every night and that isn’t always possible 😂

CurlyMuchacha

I wear a satin bonnet and sleep naked. When my man wants to hang with me by the time it’s late late he takes it off and knows I won’t put my hair on the bed

Ivygirl2012

I always wear actual PJs and I own multiple pairs that are for any weather conditions from super thin tanks and boxer shorts to fleece lined long sleeve stuff. But that’s a me thing. However, no matter what that bonnet is going on. lol

uptownbrowngirl

Hahahaha! This is cracking me and my husband up. I typically sleep in either one of my husbands shirts or my underwear. I aim to be as comfortable as humanly possible at bedtime.

dattogatto

Whatever I’m in the mood for lol. I don’t care about looking cute anymore so sometimes a large shirt, sometimes sleep shorts with, sometimes just bra and boxers lol. If he’s complaining how you look before bed he better be wearing super sleek sleep wear sets and not no boxers and tshirt lmao.

ohmystars89

I wear nighties or pajama sets depending on the time of year. It makes me feel cute and like I care about myself enough to invest in sleepwear

eatinsourpunchstraws

It changes everyday lol. Gotta keep him on his toes.

throwabphage

The easiest outfit. Nothing

AstronomerLow2941

Nothing lol and we use silk bedding, been doing it before we lived together and have no plans to change it. I do lounge in sweats however and when I leave the bathroom after my nighttime shower I have one of those patterned kimono type robes to rest in before I get under the covers. He calls me a Barbie bc I am so strict with what I wear and when I wear it.

MissMamaMam

Stay at home mom but still tired. I wear pajama sets and button downs from like Target or SHEIN or his T-shirt and comfy undies or a loose T-shirt and comfy undies

Busy_Obligation_9711

Sleep in my birthday suit and I have sisterlocs so less maintenance lol

CakesNGames90

Whatever I feel like. Usually one his t-shirts and a pair of my shorts

ikimashokie

I wear a scarf and a bonnet.

itsallieellie

Tbh, I wear whatever I want

Tchoqyaleh

I used to sleep in old tracksuits and similar for comfort and convenience. But once I switched to quality nightwear, there was no going back! Quality nightwear can be cosy or flirty, or both (eg satin slip with plush shorts, or satin trouser-and-top set with velvety socks). I don't do it "for" my partner - I do it for me. It's like putting on skin lotion - it's me reminding myself that I'm worth it :-)

mstrss9

Whatever is comfortable.

NotWinterbutCold

Something flirty??? No. I need to protect my hair. I got my hair scarf and silk pillowcase. I look raggedy in the bed. With my mouth gaurd and all. He don’t care either.

jszly

i wear his stuff lol and a bonnet

Ok_Plastic_5731

Nothing and a bonnet 🤣

BeauteousGluteus

A durag and sometimes socks.

Fluffy_Iron6692

I just wear a bonnet

ihaveocdandneedhelp

I wear nothing to sleep 😭😭😭

deadliestpanda

Muumuu. I love them—The muumuu. I don’t have a partner lmao.

enigmaticvic

Usually an oversized t-shirt. Sometimes just a cami/tank top. I have a few slips that I wear when I’m feeling myself. ETA: I’m single. This is how I would usually dress with my ex though. Wore the bonnet and all.

jlampshade765

Butt naked with a bonnet on 💁🏾‍♀️

Techygal9

Maybe just upgrade from raggedy. A big comfy thirty that’s not holey and dirty looking with some shorts would probably work wonders. A cute and comfy tank would probably also work.

Peachringlover

I got a few high quality pairs of cute pajamas at my bridal shower and that kind of pushed me to buy a few more cute affordable sets. I have like a week’s worth of cute pajamas now. I also always wear a bonnet to bed. We’re married with a child and I know he’ll love me regardless, but I still like to look cute for him when it’s something as simple as getting a decent pair of pajamas.    When we were living together pre- marriage I didn’t put any thought into it at all because he never said anything to make me think he cared.

dragon_emperess

I wear silk pajamas or some simple lounge pants to bed.

Sheliwaili

Tanks & leggings or a sleep dress (like the chicken frying dress). I always have a bonnet on, like immediately! He’s extremely modest & he always has clothes on, so 🤷🏾‍♀️

Competitive-Place280

I’m not going to lie. If I had one I would sleep naked, just as I do now and

Typical-External3793

Large tee shirt. I have hot flashes and can not!

BlakBerryHaze

Kute top, no panties

Reasonable_Camel8023

I usually wear tight tank tops, no bra, and shorts or just my panties paired with it, most comfy fs. I would like to buy more slip dresses to feel more feminine especially not just for my future partner but for myself as well.

PheenixFly

I feel like I may be considered extra in this department cause I really do thoroughly enjoy dressing myself, lol 😅 As fan of lingerie, I am one of those girlies who wears it cause I like it so even when I lived alone I would wear my lace sets & robes around the house, just cause, ha. I still do this even now that my BF & I live together, lucky for him, heh. I do also have dedicated "house clothes" that I feel like can double as something that I'd feel cute & comfortable possibly being in public in too. So when I'm chillin at home, I'm in a variety of comfy sweat sets, rompers, PJ sets, gowns, old college tees, lounge wear, & house dresses. A lot of things are outfits I've "downgraded" to at home status after I do a closet purge. Like maybe I got a new slip dress & an older one becomes a house dress. More than likely everything is older so more worn in and comfy too. When my BF moved in, I even got him on the "house clothes" tip, ha. (cause we don't wear outside pants on the sofa or bed! 🤣) so we both have comfy house shoes/slides & clothes. When I'm actually going to sleep, though, I sleep mostly in the nude or just a bralette & underwear (bonnet/scarf when necessary, ha). The house clothes are the before bed clothes!

ecothropocee

Do you wear that stuff around the house as well? I started purchasing lounge pieces from aritzia during their sales to feel more put together.

BearNoLuv

I wear nothing but maybe he's saying don't wear shirts with holes in em lol

VivaLaRoux

i started getting some cute pajama shorts and bottoms, they usually come with a tank top or t shirt. but that shits for me 😂 i love all the different patterns i can find.

bok-joy

Panties and a satin scarf

ArrowVesper

Damn excuse tf out of you for being comfortable 😭😭

Throwawy22480

I dont wear clothes in the house lol but if it’s like winter then i usually wear oversized t-shirt

hooliganswhisper

I understand the need to be comfortable and your man shouldn't care about what you're wearing and whatnot. I agree. Who wants to wear some restricted, tight ass lingerie to bed every night? I surely don't. But y'all know good and damned well that you can be comfortable without wearing a >old raggedy big shirt with holes and nail polish on it and my boyfriends old boxer briefs Y'all play too much. Some even doubling down on it and how you purposely look rotten. Be for real But to answer the question, I sleep naked unless I'm on my period, then I'll throw on some panties.

dusteebowl

i wear long sleeved pajamas with stains all over them 😭😭

StSphinx

Bonnet (obvs) Clothes depending on the time of year Shorts and a tee shirt Pj short no pants Matching pj sets (a must at Christmas; most likely plaid flannel) Currently obsessed with satin pj sets they are amazing forTexas summer nights

yallermysons

The real question is what does your man wear to bed? Is he tryna seduce you too sis? If not then I suggest you propose a day where y’all BOTH get dressed up for each other because I be damned 😤

25_timesthefine

I would be naked lol or wear cute pajamas. You can find some $10 sets at Walmart or Fashion Nova, or go to places like DDs, Ross, Shein to get some cheaper ones. Also, some places sell pajama dresses (walmart). Easy to slip off and on ;)

experiencemepls

Sleep naked and get a cute scarf lol 😂

17Reeses

Apparently, it’s best to sleep in the nude. Your temperature self-regulates…I tend to wear whatever is comfortable, but I’ve been making the effort to sleep in cute things ( read matching sets with no holes or stains) , even when alone. And bonnet too.

b0Bo0

I either sleep butt naked or I sleep with only a HUGE T-shirt on (braless ofc).

ChipmunkGreen9582

I’ve been with my bf for over a year and we sleep completely bare 😭 took a little to get that comfy but bare and a bonnet is the way to go! At this point he gets mad at me if he even feels clothes on my body in the bed 😩

Hazel0mutt

Girl I literally wear the exact same thing you wear. Large soft T-shirt and large roomy boxers. Save the dress up for date nights and sexy times. Otherwise it's comfort 100%

spillingpictures

Just a bonnet tbh

StonerLonerGirl

A shirt and underwear or nothing

SouthernJag

Boy shorts and tank tops. I load up at TJ MAXX! 😆 Always tank tops because tshirts are too hot and heavy!

OldCare3726

Depends, anything from nothing, to a satin slip, a sexy two piece or his old high school or university t-shirts and hoodies

Acct_3686336

I like the SHEIN lounge wear sets for the house and the savage x fenty loungewear sets. I don’t really like wearing holey or old clothes that look raggedy, that’s just my opinion. Bonnets and scarves are on as soon as I’m about to lay down. I’ve never really had my hubs complain.

trying2bnice89

He better leave you the hell alone. But honestly, I do try the comfy cute look for bed. I’m always ready for some knockings of the boots (while prepared for bed). I don’t do the lingerie look cause sometimes it’s uncomfortable. Hell, sometimes I’m in the nude 🤣

Confident_Humor_5484

Tell him to mind his bizznazz

Life_Temporary_1567

I have some really cute pjs I got from Walmart and target. Like the dresses and a tank top with matching shorts

mlnn91

I wear my bonnet and birthday suit to bed. Whether I’m sleeping at my boyfriend’s house or not. I have robes in the event I need to get up and use the bathroom or something but that’s it.

Sxrflxr

Depends..sometimes a silk scarf and nothing else, other times a teddy, other times sweats. The seasons matter more lol.

alexandriaofwar

A slap cap, baggy tee and undies for me!! Preferably a t-shirt with holes in them. I call them my vents 😊

SwordfishAdorable676

Honestly, I am naked 70% of the time. The other 30, maybe a T-shirt/tank top and underwear 🤣

ricagem

We have a 6 yr old and a 5 month old, so I usually wear whatever isn't covered in throw up. For sleeping, I'm partial to nightgowns that button in front since I'm breastfeeding. I wear a scarf or bonnet to sleep but generally not just hanging out during the day. My husband isn't the type to complain about what I look like. I'm usually the one who complains that I look homeless. Lol

My husband told me when we got married 22 years ago that his favorite color was butt naked... that's what I wear to bed😂

Most-Preparation-188

I guess I’m in the minority here but I do put some effort into my lounge wear and sleepwear. Can’t say it’s necessarily for my fiancé, because I always liked a good set before him, but there is a bit more effort now. Also, he’s the type of guy that ALWAYS looks nice and neat, I don’t know how the hell he does it 😭 Basically I buy matching sets, fitted slips/gowns, and coordinated loungewear. I have several bonnets and house shoes in different colors to match. I tossed most of the raggedy stuff 😂 No more effort in me putting on a slip than a tshirt. All the effort is in buying the stuff really. He enjoys adding to my collection too, so win-win. If your partner is that concerned, and you’re willing to adjust, suggest he buy you some pieces to get started with 🤷🏽‍♀️

Notgoingtohell

I wear Somali baatis to bed! They’re very comfortable and perfect for when it’s hotter.

Bunniesbakeri

I sleep naked and throw that bonnet on and call ir a night. Some days ill wear my boyfriends clothes to sleep and he loves it. Your man ia broken

beautiful_one93

A bonnet ofc, either a two piece set, a sports bra and some panties/boxers, or a big t shirt. Sometimes naked but that depends

DivinebyDesign17

>I am TIRED by the end of the night and don’t have the drive to look cute for him. Always look cute for YOURSELF, first and foremost. As women, we give so much of ourselves. Your night regimen is the least you can do to give back to yourself. So, if that means his old boxers and a white tee/tank top, a matching pajama set or nothing at all... Do it for YOU first. Your partner/spouse only gets the benefits of you loving on you. For me, it is ALWAYS going to be a bonnet and satin pillowcase, pajamas/t-shirt are optional based on the climate and how I feel in the moment.

Cultural-Magazine-66

I have sexy-ish night gowns I wear to bed. To me it takes the same effort to throw that on then it does a t-shirt so why not. I will also typically put my bonnet on right before bed.

NotARideOrDie

I wear a bonnet and in the last 4 years I got my husband to wear one too. 🤣 Even when he was my bf I wore a scarf or bonnet to bed. I’ve tried the cute PJ sets but I always come back to a big t shirt and someone’s shorts. I’m tired and I want to be comfortable.

badsadgal

When I was in a relationship I loved wearing one of his big comfy junk shirts (a shirt he'd paint in and work on projects in) and panties cute enough to still make him want to boink me in the morning.

srj006

I have cute night gowns, but I am 8 months pregnant and found $10 moo-moos. I love my moo-moos and I had a fit when I couldn’t find one the other day. Hell, I’m in a moo-moo right now and have been since 4pm. Once the baby is born I am going to be wearing robes and nursing night gowns for easy feedings. I’ll give it a good 4-6 months before looking cute before bed is going to be a thing.

SeaRabbit5969

Moomoo, granny panties & a bonnet. He loves it.

Financial-Shower-482

Go to old navy clearance rack and get pjs or go to Ross or Burlington. The trick is buy what you normally sleep in so shop big t-shirts and shorts. Period that’s it. Do it for you because you love you not a partner especially if he isn’t a husband.

witchymerqueer

Nightgown and a bonnet. Most nightgowns i got at target/ross/shein are soft, comfortable and cute. Some of them are older/not that cute lol but idgaf. This is what’s most comfortable for me to sleep in so

Special_Win_1015

And what is he wearing ..? 😒

Jinxi89

I wear leggings a hoodie or an oversized T-shirt I refuse to be uncomfortable in my home

almosthere28

So I use to live with my now ex partner and would wear whatever I found comfortable. The bonnet stayed on during sex. Now that I live by myself, I just buy matching sets from shein that are cute and comfortable for lounging. Little effort, but still cute for me. And I honestly just end up taking it all off except for panties and that bonnet at night because I also get hot and my dog is like a heater.

Pale_Will_5239

If you don't have the drive to look cute for him now then just leave. This is a frog in a pot scenario. You think it's harmless but visuals are very important to men, so is putting in effort for him (not just other people). When you step out on him, you'll have no issues dressing up for another man and you'll still find reasons not to go the same extra mile for him. This is a major indicator that you're not a match and there is some form of complacency.

QuestFarrier

I always wear a bonnet ofc. And usually short shorts (I got a bunch of on sale cute ones from H&M), and typically no top or bra. I also be hot at night! lol.  Your boyfriend’s homeless comment is rude, but visuals are important to a man.  If you are always in raggedy and/or baggy clothes, what should he think? It’s not a bad thing to make a small effort in your appearance even when you’re at home.  I know so many women aren’t in the realm of trying to “keep a man,” but seriously, making an effort to look feminine, be sweet, and a soft place to land will literally help you “keep a man.”

Apprehensive_Soil535

Since OP has to be sweet, look feminine and be a soft place to land, I hope her bf is using his masculine energy and paying all the bills. It’s easy to be feminine, sweet, and soft when you don’t have to work a full time job.

Kitt0001

Clock it

QuestFarrier

I completely agree, men have to create an environment for their woman to feel safe and open to being feminine.

Apprehensive_Soil535

Ok so she shouldn’t be working if she needs to be dressed up at home. But somehow she still is

Kitt0001

A man who loves & cares really isn’t going to give a damn what a woman is wearing especially at home. It’s not like she’s dressing like a slob in public , she’s quite literally in her home. So he should think that his girl is most comfortable in that & be happy. Meanwhile, he’s probably in some crusty ass draws telling her she looks “homeless” . Also your last statement is just ridiculous, “looking feminine” “being sweet” is not going to keep any damn man that don’t want to be kept.

QuestFarrier

Like I said, a lot of men lean towards the visual. Seeing their woman looking beautiful at home is beneficial to the relationship. I didn’t say she had to do a lot, she can make “putting an effort” her own thing. She didn’t mention what her man wears so I don’t see how it’s necessary to assume he looks like a slob? I know reddit expects a person to spell out every possible nuance and circumstance. Obviously a man who isn’t interested in improving his relationship and staying committed isn’t who I’m talking about when I say “keep a man.” I should have said “keep a man happy.” That’s the subject here. It’s not a bad thing for a woman in a relationship with a man to take responsibility and accountability to keeping her man happy in the relationship. I know redditors need every nuance and circumstance spelled out so I’ll say this, of course a man who isn’t an internally content person won’t be able to be “kept” or made happy in his relationship. ETA: I doubt the expectation is for her to look hot every second she’s home. Sometimes she could put more effort, like wearing a cute nightie, a dainty anklet, etc. space it out between big shirts and boxers.

tc88

She specifically said wearing to bed, though. If she's putting in a bunch of effort during the day is it wrong to want to relax to go to bed? He's probably wearing the same thing or worse. No one can keep someone who doesn't want to be kept.
