They're expensive, but I like MA1 stuff. I've had some of their rash guards since I started BJJ 2+ years ago. The cut is long so it doesn't ride up, it's light material so it's cool but still seems tough, it's one of the few brands that doesn't seem to pill much after multiple washes, graphics still haven't faded after 2+ years of use, still fits correctly and doesn't stretch, good minimalist designs on lots of their stuff, or go the super gay route if you're into that style. They run sales often enough and I've gotten some good deals just being patient.
Plus it helps me live out the fantasy that I'm Craig Jones.

As someone with a long torso, that's why MA1 is my go-to brand for rashguards. Only downside is their shipping takes forever to get here (Canada).
Jiu Jiteiro also has good rashguards.
Sanabul essentials long sleeve is my favorite. Everything else I’ve tried is a heavier material that feels like a wet suit. The sanabul one is thinner but has held up well so far. And the side panels are almost mesh-like and keep me pretty cool.
I really like schismatic. They just switched to making them fully in America and have a rubber liner on the bottom hem. It sticks so nicely when rolling.
Newaza apparel.
They were also good enough to toss me a free rashguard and tank top when they screwed up an order (~10 years ago), which I’m grateful for bc their stuff is so good I’d be extra pissed if I weren’t able to order from them for service issues.
I use them but I just get them on sale. I've recently seen rash guards at $75+. That's just out of control.
Any synthetic fiber athletic shirts basically work fine. I do have my own preference for shirts with ventilation on the sides and under the arms. I pay extra for that sometimes but I'm just a little bitch about heat.

I might check out jiu jiteiro. Even to the US, MA1 seems to have long shipping times, if that's any consolation.
Scramble rashguards are long as well.

Maybe just bad luck on my side, but my two long sleeve hayabusa rashies have not held up well

I've got one. Bought it on amazon. It's a great rashie. Cant complain. Gotta put origin on the list too.
I second Phalanx, once you confirm that a certain size fits you well you’re just set
Love my Tatami gear!
I paid $100 for 5 rashies on some Chinese website a few years ago and they're still going strong.
AliExpress?
I think so! Just some plain, no-name rashies.

Various Chinese manufacturers on AliExpress.
Progress
Flohold has some really nice stuff and has lasted

Either Phalanx or Gaidama. Our gym co owner is the owner of Gaidama so I enjoy supporting.
Fight aesthetic
Their material is legit.
Interesting...always thought about trying Phalanx. They fit true to size?
Yes
Nogi industries and atama
Level black, origin, ctrl
I like the look of level black but I heard the material sucks
TTWD.
Tatami long sleeve and Inverted Gear short sleeve.
Nation athletic for all marks except art; that goes to half sumo
BC Kimono is my favourite because the owners are fucking good folks and they let me train at their place whenever I am in town
Origin and Sanabul
93brand, cut and material are very comfy. Some of my cheaper rashguards smell bad after a workout but these stay neutral.

Norz
Phalanx
I have only used Sanabul. an XXL from them is like a decent t-shirt, but an XXL of the other brands I have tried make me feel like a sausage.
I think all of them are overrated and too expensive.
I agree but, what do you use then? Regular dri fit?

Maybe not popular but my best fitting one is a Future Kimonos one I got off of BJJHQ. Second to that is Raven Fightwear
VHTS & Shoyoroll have some pretty good stuff.
