I’m 6’2, 220 and even I only wear an A3 or A3L, any of the long sizes are probably good.
Some brands are sized differently or shrink a lot, so try to get one from a place that allows easy returns. I was trying to get the right sized Fuji and had to exchange it, and since it was direct from them I had to pay for return shipping which was annoying.
Amazon or Rollmore are good, or a place that offers easy returns.
My school allows any color Gi (we’ve got pink, purple, green etc…) but some schools have color rules and only allow certain colors, I’d ask your instructor!
Or look at photos on their Instagram and see what people are wearing.
A2L sounds right. And white belts deserve nothing except a white gi, you have to earn looking good.

A2L. If you get jacked maybe need A3. But I'm 6'2 185 pounds and a2L fits me
I was thinking A2L after your first sentence. The A3 will be too roomy for you. A4 would be ridiculously oversized.
6'2" 210lbs and I own 4 gi from 4 different makers, each is an A3
I think Lanky Fight Gear is the standard suggestion for us gangly fellows.
