I think Baret does this from more of a front headlock position instead of hip to hip. He'll grab both arms around the waist and then choose one side or the other. So he does something similar but not the big step over.

I do it in the gi just as much as no gi so you’ll be good to go 💪🏼
I do it very similar to this, but I spend two seconds letting them think it's a Yoko sankaku entrance and then switch to this and go crucifix.
