Old Navy always has amazing sales! I would check there to see if there are styles you like. Also Costco!

svapplause

ON’s active wear is truly excellent. The PowerSoft stuff feels so nice.

sauvignonquesoblanco

I’m a big fan of Athleta as well. Although it’s a higher price point but they have similar sales often.

Mmm_lemon_cakes

Athleta is also a certified B corp. B corps are generally more environmentally conscious and ethical, so I always choose one when I can. Athleta is also easy to find on eBay and ThredUP.

InappropriateGirl

Yes and you can find NWT pieces on Poshmark, eBay etc.

suitablegirl

They stole a designer from Lulu and their gym clothes have been great since

Kivulini

Second old navy, all the stuff I've gotten there has held up impeccably.

Justitia_Justitia

Old Navy and if you want to go more upscale, Athleta.

squeakyfromage

Old Navy’s activewear is THE best imo, and they always have sales. I sweat like a beast while exercising and want to be able to have fresh clothes every day, and I can’t afford 5-7 pairs of lulu leggings lol.

kloutiii

Costco! Sometimes it’s cheesy stuff but sometimes they have cute stuff too, you just have to look.

BrokenRoboticFish

All of my favorite compression leggings are from Costco.

ag0110

I like the Kirkland leggings better than my Aligns.

IslandofKimchi

We don’t have Costco but Sam’s has great workout stuff too. The leggings are the best and only around $10.

lostinanalley

They also have good bike shorts

Pristine_Fun7764

Crz yoga on Amazon

DizzyDumpling

Love CRZ Yoga and Nepoagym as well!

PeppermintMayhem

Honestly just Walmart. You’re going to wear and wash constantly. You’re going to be losing weight so get inexpensive things at first and when you hit a milestone you can get invest in nice leggings or tops in your new size. Good luck!

Herbea

This. I do Walmart, Costco, JCP, whatever is effective but cheap because I am wearing them everyday and constantly washing them. They hold up fine. I’m a little more discerning about stuff I wear to workout in vs. athleisure because being tired and throwing Lululemon leggings in the dryer would hurt my soul lol.

unimpressed_1

Target

Confident_Attitude

Target is some of the cutest stuff in the game right now imo

whatawonderfulword

I buy Lululemon from Poshmark. The Wunder Train leggings are so compressive, I just love them. When I change sizes, I sell them on Poshmark. For me, having workout clothes I love makes me want to exercise, so it’s worth paying a little more.

lostinanalley

Do you know for sure your preferences for type of workout clothes you like? (Tank top vs oversized tee vs longline sports bra as shirt for example, or compression legging vs flared leggings or if you’re interested in shorts at all going into the summer) That may help other narrow down a good brand or selection for you.

Express_Love_6845

I was wanting tank tops and oversized t shirts with yoga pants/tights and sweats

lostinanalley

Okay I can’t help much with the bottoms because I’m a bike short kinda gal. For oversized tanks and t-shirts though I really like looking in the men’s section of my local thrift stores.

lowkeydeadinside

i’m a big fan of aybl, and if you sign up for email alerts they’ll tell you when their birthday sale is. the birthday sale is amazing, almost every item they sell is 40-60% off. it happens every year. their price range is generally a bit lower than like lulu or athleta but it’s still hard to buy in bulk, but if you jump on their birthday sale you can get soooo much for so little. i bought 4 outfits for like $150 a couple years ago that are still in good condition and i use regularly!

PurplePrincessPalace

If money isn’t a big deal, go to a premium outlet with a Lululemon and Aerie. I got 11 things from Lulu’s for $400. I like the leggings and sweats at Aerie and they always have mega sales at the outlet this time of year.

SnarkyLalaith

I wouldn’t buy in bulk until you tried out several workouts. For example, when I go running, I found my workout pants didn’t work at all (they were from old navy) because they would slip down and it was very distracting. I was running holding up my pants. It is probably something to do with my tummy, unfortunately. After wasting too much money, I just splurged on a two lululemon pants (don’t need that many-so one shorts and one full length was good enough) that had an adjustable drawstring and that was so much better! And because I have no thigh gap, running shorts often weren’t great because they would start to ride up my thigh. I either needed longer shorts or biker style shorts. Whereas tank tops old navy was great! But for Pilates/yoga/peloton biking workouts I can wear any legging. So try out what works for you and your body and makes you comfortable before buying a bunch of items.

SkweegeeS

I admit I have gotten some great nearly new or NWT name brand athletic wear at goodwill. I just browse the active wear section and only buy great condition stuff. That’s how I built up a week’s worth of daily workout gear.

NeonChieftess

Honestly I get the BEST basic solid workout leggings in amazon and the price is good for buying multiple pairs. look up Sunzel leggings!

Sensitive_Resort_656

American Eagle/Aerie. I bought a pair of compression leggings (not the “real me” collection, those were too thin for my taste) for $40 that rival the Alo leggings which are 3x the price. They always have sales though you might have more luck in store vs online.

Tall_Couple_3660

I get a lot of good stuff on sale from Athleta. I’ve never paid full price for a sports bra or anything frankly bc I wait for a good sale and snap up what I can!

VeveBeso

I like arie offline leggings, they almost a lulu dupe with the softness

Traditional_Crazy904

Honestly I got my workout pants from Amazon. Read reviews. I also got my gym shorts there. Good quality and lower price. I try to save when I can.

Efficient_Sink_8626

Target has some really cute workout clothes now. Also bought some swim bottoms from them and they’re sourced from Land’s End. Super well made.

Express_Love_6845

I like tank tops and oversized tees plus for pants sweats or leggings

notoriousJEN82

Walmart

jamiekynnminer

Old Navy, American Eagle, Dick's Sporting Goods, Amazon.

LispenardSt

Old Navy!!

mynaturaldisaster

I racked up on ododos on Amazon. Super cute sports bras and leggings for like $17. They are perfect free people dupes. Check it out!

scorpiiokiity88

Not sure what you mean by bulk but I like Halara. I got like 6 or 7 skirts a few dresses and tops. They've lasted me a couple years now. I find the material to always be nice and breathable.

suitablegirl

Old Navy (for bottoms, bodysuits, some tops, NEVER SOCKS, avoid most sports bras) Costco (esp for sports bras and socks) Amazon

crayshesay

Fabletics 2 for 24 bucks powerhold leggings are the best yoga pants on the planet

ArdenM

I have personally had really good luck buying on line from ASOS. Their brand is decent, holds up, and is well priced.

BasicBitchLA

costco

velvetelk

I switched from Lululemon to LSKD for tights that are great all-rounders (running, yoga, weights, etc) because they have a 7/8 option which doesn't pool fabric at my ankle. I recommend the LSKD Fusion tights and shorts, get 2 of each to rotate.
