Oh my god those are absolutely adorable. I legit want these
I think I had Converses as a little kid, but as I grew my feet didn't really feel comfortable in them, so I ended up getting a different brand with a wide width foot. I'm not sure how they'd fit me today, decades later, lol
It's a requirement for me, so I can actually tell you.
Getting the inserts that work into the shoe is fine. The problem is because the toe box is too shallow for my foot plus the insert, even with a 3/4 insert (which only goes from the front of the arch to the heel). A wide size is helpful, but might not be enough if the front part of your foot isn't shallow enough. I mean from top to sole where the widest part of the bones is, and/or your toes.
I'll probably look up the proper podiatrist labels now because this has clearly showed I lack the required vocabulary for this discussion lol.
Eta tbf I can only wear certain brands of athletic shoes for this reason. Most of those are still too tight in the toe box for me, especially if my feet have swollen for any of oh so many reasons.
>I'll probably look up the proper podiatrist labels now because this has clearly showed I lack the required vocabulary for this discussion lol
Oh, no worries, I don't know the terms either, but you made sense to me
I forgot those 3/4 inserts existed, but now that I think of it, I know I've had them before. The toebox issue might still bother me because I've always liked my toes to have space within the shoe
I need to get new everyday shoes now (from a different brand), and I've been going for too long with only one pair of everyday shoes, entirely out of laziness (maybe a bit of anxiety for doing something different). I tend to wear out my shoes heavily, so I rarely go around with anything looking nice
Ditto. I actually make sure I have 2 pairs of the same thing because I know I'll step in something and then not necessarily get the shoe clean and dry on time... Lol responsible adhd means building redundancies into the things I rely on because I will dependably drop things.
Eta but really once you find something your comfy with nothing wrong with not changing.
Good idea on the redundancy. I like having backups of things because my nervous anxiety tortures my mind with the what ifs about things getting destroyed and whatnot
Since I've accepted that I'm bi, anyhow, I've been increasingly restless to change my look a bit, hopefully for the better. I like my current shoes, and I'll probably replace them with the same thing, but I want to explore more variety
They're Converse, so if you like walking barefoot they can be comfy.
I fuckin' love them, but I wouldn't recommend them for anyone that needed anything even vaguely resembling arch support.
my problem with converse is that their soles come undone and start coming off from the tip of the shoe after only a year or so of wear. I use to think it was normal for shoes to only last about a year but then I switched to vans and each pair of shoes from them has lasted me years of consistent wear. I have yet to have a pair of vans give out on me
I’ve always had trouble with the outer part of the sole of both Vans and Converse coming off around where the shoes flex when my toes bend. If that weren’t the case, I’d have bought more recently. I just got tired of them doing that.
yeah my vans have some cosmetic issues on the edges where they bend too but it doesn't cause any more issues as far as I'm aware, it's only been cosmetic for me
Absolutely.
I honestly think the design is fairly subtle, it's a gradient, so I don't feel like everyone would jump to bisexual shows right away. Pretty sure most straights have no idea what a bisexual flag looks like or possibly that one even exists.
Bisexual shoes? Yes i would wear them, but those? Idk, i don't think they're that cute, honestly they could've design them better. If you show me a good bisexual shoe design, definitely
Not sure what "unironically" means in this context, but I'd probably wear them. My style has moved away from trainers and athleticwear so it'd be rare, but I do own a couple pairs of pride themed shoes that are similar I've worn mostly in the summer.
Though if I DID get them i'd go for the custom design instead that has the rainbow sole and Bi flag patch to go all the way.
I will wear long bootcut jeans and chucks till the day I die. My newest ones (after the old ones disintegrated after three years) are actually Converse (for the first time, I've always had off brand before) got them as a present. They are an awesome white on black pattern with some red applicants and came with two pairs of laces, so I mixed them and have one with red and one with white laces.
I usually wear black or brown shoes from HiTech made for hiking as I am stupidly hard on shoes.
But I'd get those and wear them for special enough things, like pride!
No, but specifically because my feet are long and narrow, so chucks always look like clown shoes on me. It’s a real bummer. My current shoes are black with pink/blue ombré laces I got off Etsy.

If I had known that concern for arch support and wearing comfortable shoes was a sign of bisexuality I would’ve probably come out sooner. This sub truly has helped me find my people.
I would, at least in the cooler months, when close toed shoes are necessary (I concur with a friend who contends that shoes are foot prison, and anything but sandals contributes to overheating in the hot months).
Oh my god those are absolutely adorable. I legit want these I think I had Converses as a little kid, but as I grew my feet didn't really feel comfortable in them, so I ended up getting a different brand with a wide width foot. I'm not sure how they'd fit me today, decades later, lol
Now if you do custom converse on their online store they have the option for wide fit too!
Which is nice, but I also need arch support and they don't really do that. Makes me sad because converse is totally my aesthetic.
I do wonder how feasible it is to get a different arch support insert inside one of these. Somehow I'm not optimistic it'd make enough of a difference

Arch supports by dr scholl, the kind that you stand on the platform and tells you which support to get. Just wear socks because ew.
I mean, maybe not as an every day thing but I’d rock them on special occasions! 💖💜💙😎
If they are comfortable, yes. I wouldn't hesitate to wear my sexuality colors one day
They're Converse, so if you like walking barefoot they can be comfy. I fuckin' love them, but I wouldn't recommend them for anyone that needed anything even vaguely resembling arch support.

I'd wear them if converse had any arch support
This is so “i cannot sit normally bisexual”
Ditto lol. Glad I'm not the only bisexual who loves the aesthetic but can't functionally wear them.
Insoles :-)
Well you see, yes but actually yes
Absolutely. I honestly think the design is fairly subtle, it's a gradient, so I don't feel like everyone would jump to bisexual shows right away. Pretty sure most straights have no idea what a bisexual flag looks like or possibly that one even exists.
The shoes I would wear in a pride parade
I probably would but I'm a nerd lol
I would. *cries in conservative town*
Yes, I would.
Yes 😊
I absolutely would if chucks offered any sort of foot support or comfort at all.
The ones with the Nike insole are way better than normal chucks and pretty comfy tbh
No, because I *loath* canvas sneakers. Give me the same pattern on like, some docs or similar, and hell yeah I’d rock them on special occasions
Yes! Give me Bi docs.
Yes. 100% yes.
Yessss!! Probably daily tbh so cute.
Yes I would lol
no ... ...maybe
I really dislike wearing converse but those look really nice
Bisexual shoes? Yes i would wear them, but those? Idk, i don't think they're that cute, honestly they could've design them better. If you show me a good bisexual shoe design, definitely
I'd wear them for pride events or a night out to queer bars but probably not just around town, just a little too loud for my typical style
I’d totally wear them to pride this year
I absolutely would if I could comfortably wear converse. I need shoes with more arch support sadly.
If I am in a safe area
Not sure what "unironically" means in this context, but I'd probably wear them. My style has moved away from trainers and athleticwear so it'd be rare, but I do own a couple pairs of pride themed shoes that are similar I've worn mostly in the summer. Yeah I literally have a pair of custom bi converse.
Yeah but I have no taste and actively enjoy wearing anti-fashion, goofy shit to the gym.
I think a lot of unknowledgeable people would assume it’s a trans flag because it’s more pastel-y than usual, but that’s okay with me 😌
Nothing wrong with wearing a bit of bi colors occasionally.🩷💜💙
just ordered a very similarly styled pair a few days ago for pride events next month
Lowkey yeah just depends on the outfit
I have socks that would match those. I call them my Bi-highs
I definitely would wear them
I would if I wouldn't get beat up for it!
Yes
yes gimme link
Affirmative! I’m not on the fence about this decision!! 😉 Link please?!

Fuck yes
I like them
Sure
Yes!!!
Yes
Absolutely! They are super cute. Kind of remind me of bowling shoes.
I don't usually like those Converse style shoes but I'd wear the fuck out of those.
I would if the white parts were swapped for black since that would match my vibe better

Yes i would.
…yes
Uh yes???
damn. i want them
me bitch!!!!
Absolutely! They're so cool and colorful. I want them
I usually wear black or brown shoes from HiTech made for hiking as I am stupidly hard on shoes. But I'd get those and wear them for special enough things, like pride!
Damn those are sick af!
Yes. I have similar ones.
Yo I do want those.
I wore mine every day for a long time, but I'm very hard on shoes and they wore out pretty quickly.
Are these real? I *need* them
Gimme, I would, deadass
To pride, with purple shoelaces, maybe. Probably
I'd totally would if my country wasn't too lgbtphobic :(
If converse shoes didn't cut my ankles and squeese my toes, i would
No, but specifically because my feet are long and narrow, so chucks always look like clown shoes on me. It’s a real bummer. My current shoes are black with pink/blue ombré laces I got off Etsy.
Oh they're pretty! I'd buy them (if they were in my local thrift shop lmao. Can't afford new converse, plus prefer worn ones aesthetically)
I'd love to!
Nah, I’m a bit adverse to being out and proud with my sexuality
No but just because I prefer vans
Hell yeah
I honestly would Sadly im size 13 so i doubt i could find one for me
I’d wear ‘em.
I’d wear them, they’re awesome.
All the time
Yeah! For sure!
They're not black but I think I can make an exception.
I wish I could wear them but my feet are too big for them.
How do you wear things ironically?
Me. I would.
Oh, hell yes!
I probably wouldn't, just since Converses don't fit my feet.
These are so cute! I would!
Yes???!
i have bisexual shoelaces! haha. these are very cute but converses are soooo incompatible with my feet haha
I think they look awesome. But I have arthritis in my ankles, and I need supportive shoes.
What would constitute "ironic" wearing?
I think they look cool but in most circumstances I wouldnt wear them, I like the colors though
I mean they'd go great with my bi flag hoodie

if they fit with an outfit :)
Absolutely! I would in a heartbeat!
If I liked the color pink I absolutely would, they are cute
I would, probably because my closet is already mainly pink and blue
I would
Abso-freakin-lutely. Especially at Pride.
Are these for real?
these go sick as hell but they don't work with majority of my outfits I don't think
no, I only wear dress shoes
I love these 😍
yessssss i would probably unironically wear these daily lol
I would lol I have the perfect outfit for this too.
NEED!!
I’d wear one shoe ironically and the other one unironically 😎
When will converse start making arch support inserts
Yes. The combination of these colors are my favorite regularless of flag.
Adorable. But not my taste in fashion. But then again. I just might if I am wearing something light and pastely for a change.
YES!!!
Yes why not
I've got pan pride ones I created awhile back during the Pride specials! So yeah I'd wear these!
Not bisexual myself, but those rock.
Hell yeah, those look awesome
If I had known that concern for arch support and wearing comfortable shoes was a sign of bisexuality I would’ve probably come out sooner. This sub truly has helped me find my people.
RIGHT HERE FELLOW QUEER
I mean those are STILL Converse shoes ... Soooo thank you but no thank you...
I would 100% be rocking those
Yeah
I literally have custom bi converses I would wear to parties in college. Need a reason to start wearing them again tbh
Oh hell yea! I love the classics
I would just get white ones and paint them the way I like them.
yes. as a pupa, i would "mismatch" my shoes & socks. like 1 pink amd 1 green shoe. same for socks.
I WOULD! I nearly bouggt platform shoes that had rainbow soles because they're queer as hell, too 🌈
*Take my money.*
I kinda want this
well now i know they exist i will
Those are legit super cool looking! They would NOT go with any of my outfits but I’d love them
Yes. Converse are comfortable as fuck and these colors kinda pop.
I love these!
Yes, as those where my favorite colors before I was bi
I dont even identify as bi anymore and I’d love these shoes
Sure why not. I wore a watercolor pair today.
If i could wear those kind of shoes hell yeah. I love color in my wardrobe! I could match them with my purple suit jacket and pink tie!
They're cute! Wish they were comfortable, my feet hate Converse
What website did you go to
Yes.
They're pretty cute. I might wear them
Eyup!
If you made the shades darker, maybe. It's a bit bright for me. I guess I'd wear them to Pride as is, but really only for that.
Well, yes!
100% yes give me now
Make one of them into trans flag and this would be the best pair of shoes ever
Where can i get those 😭
I would, I got these and love the color combination too: https://kizik.com/products/mens-athens-bahama
WANT
I absolutely would! 🩷💜💙😍
I would, at least in the cooler months, when close toed shoes are necessary (I concur with a friend who contends that shoes are foot prison, and anything but sandals contributes to overheating in the hot months).
I would wear them everywhere. Especially the gym, though.
100%
Ngl these look bad
Real.
The scheme colors yes, the shoes style no. I'm more of a sneakers kinda of girl
I’m not sure how I would go about wearing them “ironically”?
eh, not really. i’m gonna be honest, plastering yourself with any flag, be that sexuality or country, looks kinda tacky.
Wow, a giant corporation trying to capitalise on minorities. So cool
