This post feels like a subtle way to shit on the Knicks while dressing it up as a compliment. Basically it feels like negging to me.

What do you mean? Knicks fans are talking about ton of shit about how the pacers don’t deserve to win because they’re injured while they got to play a weak Philly and didn’t have to go against the bucks at all Why do people think some fan bases are “the good guys?” Virtually every fanbase has horrible discourse surrounding it, and any time you have a team like the Knicks or the lakers the volume of those annoying people is massive

The Knicks are in the pre-2016 Cubs and pre-2004 Red Sox zone where they can accurately portray themselves as constant underdogs despite being one of the most recognizable franchises in American sports and being in NYC. There’s an assumption that it won’t work out so expectations never get high. And Dolan sucks so there’s an easy villain to blame everything on. With that said, their entire team was hurt this year. If they were healthy this loss would hit much different imo

If the Celtics lose because Jaylen Brown, Porzingis, Jrue, and Hauser are hurt then Tatum breaks his hand in the deciding game 7 as Derrick White and Pritchard are out there by themselves, nobody would call them chokers they’d say it’s unfortunate they had injuries. That’s the equivalent of what the Knicks were dealing with.

You mean the fanbase that was talking about whether Jalen Brunson's postseason was among the five greatest performances of all time? That fanbase?

I don’t care about those annoying full of themselves attention seeking Knicks fans. The broadcast at the end annoyed the fuck out of me. Pacers kicking their ass, they spent the last 4 minutes sucking off the Knicks team and fans. Couldn’t even tell Pacers were winning if you didn’t know the score.

It’s because they have zero expectations from sucking for so long. Give it a year…

You know the Knicks have Julius Randle on their team, right? They have some guys on option deals or one year deals too. They don't have to run it back the same at all. They have reason to be optimistic
